there's something infinitely hilarious about hearing Edinburgh pronounced by americans as "edinberg" and the thing is I get it, I understand why that mistake happens bc of the spelling but it doesn't make it sound any less comical

(it's pronounced "edinburuh" btw but a lot of people in the uk say "edinbruh" tho some shorten it even more to "embra")
