I finally finished both mcl new gen episodes (kind of long post about my opinions and feelings)

Tbh I wasn't so sad about the old mcl coming to an end because I think when armin was removed back in hsl it just prepared me for whatever could come next LMAO. I am a big fan of Jason and Amanda, the rest of the Li's... are there I guess ! I think the new point system is kind of weird and overcomplicated for no reason, I really don't like the fact that we have to pay AP's for dialogue and clothes because I can either buy more clothing/recolors and be satisfied with how my character looks or save up for the new episodes... and the fact that you can't buy AP with money, only the blue hearts that can be traded for AP? (not to mention that the prices went up comparing to go mcl at least in my country) But you also need the blue hearts for those special moment with LI's every ep... like idk its sad that there is a part of content you can miss out because you simply don't want to spend money every time an ep is here lol. The missions (which is basically the eldarya expeditions) are fine since we get clothes for that. The calendar is a nice touch up because it's something new and refreshing. But the paid part and vip subscription and the clothes offers in the shop are the next thing that don't seat well with me.... Like we could get a little more for that price... especially since it rounds up to 120 dollars per year... And the fact that all the cute outfits are locked behind a daily shop rotation that have to use real money on... Oh and the last on the more negative side why does our uncle only give stuff for our fuckass goose.... We love you Taki but it's not that serious we could get like a t-shirt... or smth...

On the positives, I really like the fact that our Candy can have a personality now! Like finally we aren't a blank page that adjusts to the people we talk to and we can have opinions AND THEY MATTER! Also the clothes are much cuter, like finally someone thought - yes u can be an adult and have fun clothing and not dress boring! We love that! And I giggled to myself a little when I read why Candy switched her job lol. Reminder me of Eric's arc Eric we love you forever idc about what other said about your route.

At the end of the day I think I will try the vip for one month just to see is it really like worth it for someone who is going to be rather active on this game. Idk im excited for the plot tbh and especially how much it changes depending on the fact if we romance the Devenementiel LI's or Jason.

Hey Tetra, so how is the beta? What do you think of the game so far?

Sorry anon, I know I've been silent here, every time I think I want to make a post I never have enough time to make it as detailed as I used to, but never mind I'm going to give my quick opinion and then write something more in depth later.

So, first of all, I agree with everyone that the way the AP system is at the moment is too expensive. We pay 2AP for line of dialogue and many APs for choices. We get more free APs than in the past with the daily login, so that's a plus, but the choices are way too costly, especially the very basic ones (here called neutral choices), I shouldn't have to spend 40 APs to say I want a cup of tea! All that being said, I'm not too worried about it because I know that Chino has already reported this issue to management, and while these decisions are not up to her I know she sees the player's perspective and will do everything she can to make our voices heard.

Now, AP system aside, there are some things I really love!

Firstly, the website looks amazing, in the end it was worth the wait. It works super smoothly, and it's very pretty to look at.

And the closet/shop part is really easy to navigate, it's pretty much like the Sims so I'm used to it.

Also, the millennial in me who can't afford to buy her own home is really into the room decoration feature

I also enjoy the minigames. One is just like the explorations in Eldarya, but with no pet to feed, so it's a win to me. The other is outfit contests, we receive a theme and we can dress up our Candy and enrol in it. I am TERRIBLE at it, but even if you don't make it top3 you still win some APs and diamonds just for participating. You can also win stuff just by voting in the contest.

Now, to the story. The first episode was mostly an introduction so nothing much really happens, we just meet 4 of the LIs. It was cute, the mechanic is a bit tricky because we can't see immediately if the LoM increases or not, we find out at the end of the episode, but it's not nearly as bad as in ML, so I can deal with it. It's also possible to understand if the LI liked the interaction from their reactions. I think I'm starting to understand their personalities so I hope I'll get the hang of it when the game releases. I'm going to make a separate post about my impressions on the LIs, but I'm quite happy so far.

Something else I want to mention before ending this is a final pro and cons.

Cons, I don't like the "fairy". It's MC's godfather which is a cool character, apparently he is Agatha's cousin, that's nice. But he only brings gifts to Taki which I really don't care about, my duck will remain naked as nature intended. Or, anyway, I won't spend APs on it. I'm gonna try hard to avoid this guy, also because we have a choice to make with him and we can't skip it once we run into him.

The pro is instead the VIP system. From what I've seen, it looks very convenient. We get extra APs and diamonds every day, especially the diamonds it's a really good amount, which we can then exchange for more APs or cumulate to buy extra scenes (which are longer scenes with the LI). We also get some extra perks like an outfit, skip button for the replays, and extra jokers, which are little useful features that can be used in game. We don't know yet how much the VIP subscription costs, but if they stuck to the same prices as other game companies, it shouldn't be more than 10-15$.

And you anon, did you play the beta? Let me guys know what you think. People seem to be happy about most things except the AP system.

Remember when ANE’s writer wrote a sob post about hardiship of writing for a game with established fandom? I sure do. 

I fondly recall something like “if you do not write, you should not complain” and “do not judge the story before it ends”. Well, he wrote it waaaay more poetic, because he knows the words. 

You see, we are at the end of story. No matter how well written the last episode will be- the plot will suck. There is no other option, because there are too many unfinished sideplots left, unbaked characters, and (personal opinion here)- the idea of Eldarya and Earth consuming each other and changing into new world is not satisfying. Sure, it can be technically written well, with FINALLY no repetitions, or unnecessary scenes, but the story won’t be good. 

But we are at the end whether we wanted or not, so is it my time to say it with Beemoov’s blessing? Can I say it now? 

It sucked. 

The romance was awful- Lance and Erika “discussing” Valkyon’s death (and I use quotation because it wasn’t a proper discussion, it was Lance discouraging Erika from repeating his mistake. Good one, but on his route there was a dire need of real discussion about HIS deed and HIS feeling). Sex scenes instead of building intimacy and trust. Boys acting the same- the only difference between those love scenes are Lance’s obsession with choking Erika on illus and Nevra’s biting us. 

Erika was even worse than Candy. Here, I said it. At least Candy has some feelings for her parents. 

What about that djin? What about Tenjin? Kitsunes, who were loyal to their king (and why shouldn’t they, it’s not like he treated them badly)? What about faeries who are hostile to humans, how do you think they will react to Earth? What was Ophelia’s role? I still want to know Leiftan’s past! What about Erika’s mother- is our MC ok with her being somewhere... around... not remembering her child? What about Memoria? Why Valkyon is so forgotten in ANE, he was a core member of the battle and rebirth of Eldarya- rebirth, that was obviously not needed if things go shite now. 

And many, many, MANY more. But, since it’s the end and now we know where   “the writer wants to take us” so now it’s my time for “deciding on what parameters to judge it”-  All of them. Everything was either mediocre or just bad. You murdered the story, game, fandom and you probably do not even realize why and how.

So, I wasn't sure how to write this in a coherent way. I'm not sure if I even am now, but I need to try (if only to vent). I’m just a person with feelings and an opinion and this is just for me to get this out there and out of my head.

I hate Solomon's Seals. I hate the idea of them. I hate them being paid content. I hate that they represent shady business practices and exploitation of fanbases. I hate it.

Before I explain, I am not faulting PB for trying to make a profit. Companies need to make money to stay in business and PB is a company. What I care about is the practices the company uses to try and make money. I care about how a company treats its players, both whales and f2p.

I am, by my own admission, a whale (maybe closer to a dolphin? Idk where we draw the line). I picked up the habit in my Eldarya days when I started throwing $10 at the game every few months. It was how I splurged on myself back when I was a broke college student. Before that though, I was a f2p player in everything I did. Even now, there are games where I am strictly f2p. So, please understand that I am seeing two sides to the issue as I write up this rant…

Solomon's Seal are exploitative and I hate them.

Paid currency, in general, is exploitative. Games can have paid content. That isn't what bothers me. Cosmetic changes being paid currency? Sure thing. Special stickers or emotes? Sounds fine by me. Making the gacha,, the entire backbone of the gacha game, paid player exclusive? That I have an issue with.

What bothers me is that WHB has introduced three different summoning items. Greater keys (GK), lesser keys (LK), and Solomon's Seals (SS). GK and LK are used for the general pool, with LK being used to narrow down summons to A+ rank or higher summons. Minhyeok's banner used GK, which was an interesting choice. They are easier to get by far. An actually alright move from PB, making it manageable to summon his unit (unit? card? what are we calling these guys even?) for all players.

However… then we saw the new banner and that it required SS. We were not told what SS were or how to possibly earn them. We found out after the update that SS are a paid currency. Specifically, they are a paid currency to draw on event banners for L-rank units. My heart sunk when I saw this. It sunk for a two main reasons:

It's unfair to the f2p player base, who doesn't even have a chance to earn a handful of SS for free to get even a few draws.

It makes me feel exploited as a whale when I see the prices on those SS.

My Eldarya days taught me something: whales motivate the company, for good and ill. Many companies want to try and get their whales to spend money on limited banners. If you played Obey Me (OM), you will recognize this as the reason Lucifer and Mammon always seemed to have the most limited cards. It was because they were the two most popular characters and the whales spent money on them. It was guaranteed that Solmare would keep making content for their cash cows. It's also why characters who ranked lower on that popularity poll started not getting as many cards.

(Side note: if you ever take these surveys and see the question "how much money do you spend on games a month", the company is explicitly assigning you a dollar amount to weigh your opinions)

Events (and their banners) are the lifeblood of gacha games. They make a ton of money during this time, so they tend to have a good deal of focus put on them. Personally, I prefer events to be more sparse so they are special and the team is not pulled between event stories, main story content, and the upkeep of the game.

OM had many shady practices as it went on. Constant events (often with only a day or two between the end of one and the start of another), being unable to complete an event reward sheet (3 pages) completely if you were f2p, Celestial Blessings (loot boxes within loot boxes), starting up Nightbringer (that's a whole other rant), not informing the fanbase for a year that OM would be all but discontinued, putting the announcement on a Reddit thread when it did finally come out so it had to be passed around via word of mouth rather than from Solmare itself, and more.

Solmare has always been an exploitative company and many of its choices are based in getting players to spend money as often as possible rather than ensure the actual game content is good (sorry, I am still traumatized by S4 and the year long wait). Many of their practices are based in fomo and gambling practice (reminder: gacha is gambling) meant to produce a Skinner effect and trick your brain to keep going, even against your own best interests.

You get an SSR guarantee when you draw because your brain sees the sparkling rainbows and thinks "I was so close to getting a UR! Maybe if I do one more pull". It prompts you to try again for that dopamine rush.

I bring up Solmare specifically to point out that, despite its shady practices, still didn’t have a paid exclusive currency. You could buy DP in that game, but DP was also able to be earned free. Same with DV. And the two currencies could be used to pull on any banner. Twst also allows you to use keys on any banner. Same with Nu:C and contracts. The Ikemen series too. One currency type for every banner, and that currency can be earned for free given enough time and effort. Honkai Star Rail and Genshin have two types of currency used on different banners, but both types can be earned completely free given enough time.

I personally think all currencies should be available to all players, paid and f2p, in some capacity. There should be a way to earn SS, even if only for a single ten draw. Doing anything less is unfair to the f2p player base and sends the message about caring about whales more. Games make their shit loads of money, even without having paid exclusive currency. 

I personally think they should use the more rare, already existing currency (LK) for L-rank banners. Every player can earn those and they can be bought in the shop for the paid players. F2p players have a chance to earn them for free and hoard them for the next banner drop, making them feel like they at least got a chance to pull rather than feeling left out.

HOWEVER, I am also going to acknowledge here the PB (unless they change their minds) has stated that the L-rank event units will be added to the general pool at the end of their two week banner run. Honestly? This is an amazing choice. It completely opens the potential to get the L-rank units up to the entire playerbase. The only drawback is that the rates to pull them will drop. This is the first time I’ve personally seen a game do this and I will not pretend it isn’t a very generous move. My issue isn’t with PB. It’s with the Seals as a concept.

As for why SS make me feel exploited as a paid player… it has to do with their cost. If you do the math, it costs about $500 to hit pity… Gacha have never been cheap (ask me how much I have spent in the past trying to get Kuya or Rei) but $500 is insane for a single pity… in which you can’t even choose what you get. Take into account that there are four items you potentially have to draw (the unit artifacts are necessary for the unholy board which is where extra stats and story are hidden) and that adds up very quickly. Now, you are likely to draw something before you hit pity, but that is not guaranteed and it certainly isn’t guaranteed you’ll get all four items. RNGesus is fickle, as many a veteran can attest. Seeing these prices puts a nasty taste in my mouth because it feels like going straight for the wallet. Remember, these are pixels. They cost time and effort to make and write for and the servers cost money to be maintained… but $500 for a single pity? That is a rather extreme cost for the unlucky.

Like I said, I don’t have an issue with PB needing to make money. We all do. They have employees to pay and servers to maintain. My issue is the way they do it. I find Solomon’s Seals to be gross. I find them to be a bad practice in their current state which is why I cannot, in good conscious, whale for this. How I spend my money encourages their practices. I do not support this one, so I will not put my money toward it.

Having said that, I openly acknowledge that PB is not defined by this one grievance. I like that they seem to be listening to the player base. They heard Solomon’s Tears were difficult to get and made it easier to obtain them. They are constantly trying to fix the game and stabilize the servers. They have given out a shit ton of keys and compensation for delays, maintenance, and more. I can find this one aspect egregious without bashing the entire company or their efforts >.> I can still enjoy the game and the characters. Critique is not criticism.

I read chapter 11 of the wonderful fanfic Eldarya: The Dragon's Call (Lance) from Tetra (@tetrakys ). I really like Lance's character. Just missing his real in the game. I really liked the moment in the hall with the crystal, so I took out the tablet again. It's a pity that all good things tend to end quickly. It pains me to know that the next chapter will be the last. It still hurts me from the realization of what plot we have lost and how the bees have spoiled our souls without giving this plot. I sincerely respect and love Chino for the fact that even after so much time .... how to say it correctly .... she remembers the canons of the characters. From small details of clothing, to moles and scars. Chino loves his characters. This is what bees lack. They don't care about the characters! Otherwise, they would not have destroyed such an amazing fantasy world in which so much more could be invented! All you need is fantasy. At least that's how I see it.

P.S. It's my personal opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong about something.

P.P.S. I started for health, ended for peace .... I had to say it. Everything that has been accumulated in the soul over the past 4 episodes. I was blind for so long ... I sincerely liked the second season, I defended the plot, the bees and sincerely loved the new Lance because I was waiting for him so much, but starting from the 16th episode my world began to crumble and by the 19th episode it collapsed completely. My eyes were opened. I saw how spoiled, the plot and characters. How much they ruined Lance. Although I still have some warmth towards the new Lance, I like Lance from the origins and from fanfiction more. He is straight NATIVE. Thank you for listening. I won't take up your time anymore.

On Castiel calling us by our nickname (canon)

* this post will mention the very last episode of love life so if you don't want to see any spoilers do not read:) i will not go into too much details tho.

Joining the international mcl fandom, I only recently learned that during HSL, Castiel calls Candy "little girl" in english, which is supposed to be a translation of "fillette".

For some reasons the meaning feels different to me. I guess there is no equivalent in english so it's understandable, but as someone who speak both languages, "little girl" doesn't hit the same way (that's just my opinion!).

Fillette is the contraction of fille (= girl) and the suffix -ette which is used for feminine nouns and/or to denote something relatively small often in a cute way. Fillette can be both a form of mockery and affection, and it perfectly encapsulates Castiel's love language in HSL imo.

(by the way there is one occurrence of Ezarel calling us fillette in Eldarya which made me soft)

In the wedding episode he also calls us "fillette" twice, which I think was translated by "girl" in english, instead of "little girl".

I'm not sure if it was that obvious in other versions of the game but he called us by our old nickname (old because he didn't use it very often during CL/LL, probably because we're grown adult now, it's much more associated with HSL), so it felt very special to hear it again from him.

The simple use of this nickname means so much here. He's probably reminiscing meeting you in high school.

Eldarya episode 14 summary

The episode starts right were we left it, talking with Ophelia blablabla, then, Gardi sees that the guys have returned from earth very quickly with Leiftan.

They go back to the HQ and Gardi searches Mathieu to demand answers from him, just to find out that he's already waiting at her bedroom's door. In a nutshell, Mathieu was part of the army when he got recruited to work with the templars in a special unit, being the only one sent to Eldarya in order to investigate that world AND find Erika. When he saw that Erika was dead and Eldarya was much nicer than expected, he chose to work with the guard and leave that kind of life behind.

After that, they go to talk with HH and Mathieu is sent to prison until they talk with the council. Erika tells HH about the vision Ophelia showed her and she goes YOU MUSTN'T TELL ANYONE mode and off she goes. After that, she looks for Leiftan and she finds him in his daemon form "losing control" (I hope he did, really). I only played it with the aengel powers so I don't know what happens if you choose to be a daemon, but in my case I helped him regain control with "the aengel's light" (whatever that is).

We find our that 🥰🥰🥰LEIF KILLED EVERYONE IN THE EXPERIMENTS ROOM 🥰🥰🥰 and then we have a long, boring talk about aengel and daemon powers which explain nothing that we didn't already knew.

The next thing Erika does is having dinner with friends and we have the opportunity of tell HC "You don't know what you're talking about" (the highlight of the episode in my opinion), we go to bed and the girl dreams about her boy doing nasty things.

When we wake up, we go to the council room to witness "the trial" of Mathieu and we have a little useless voting to discuss what to do with Mathieu since he was purposely hiding information that could have help the mission and endangered many lives. Buuuuuuut at the end of the day it doesn't matter if you choose to condone him of show mercy cause the only remarkable thing is that he's expelled from the absinthe guard and he does a normal life, lol.

The meeting ends, Erika is horny and kisses the crush in the middle of the hall, then they go to their room, they bang, they bang again, sleep and wake up to go to the mission, the episode ends there.

Ah, we're also traveling to Yaqt in the next episode, congrats Nevra stans.

I mean, Otomelavenderhaze feels more my speed now than the last name, it shows that I will be tapping in other otomes, maybe I will go back to Ikemen at some point (believe me or not, some people find my oldest posts about Ikemen Vampire and Prince and lately I have been missing doing them and playing the games honestly).

I don't do much writing for Tears of Themis but maybe I will sometimes from now on, I feel like discussing somethings even more now they have announced that the first season is over, like what they mean with "seasons" like how many "chapters" there is for TOT's story??? I am so excited to find out.

But yeah, Lavender Haze feels fitting since my fav is Marius and since I am now a self proclaimed Swiftie lmao.

Now about MCL NG...... *sigh* I am not sure if someone really wanna hear my opnion about it if I played or not, I think at some point I would be too annoying always bringing back Rayan and such. I think there's better blogs out of there that will discuss the game and that are more open to the whole experience.

I thought about simply not even touching it, I saw the pre-sign up and I was like "should I?" but then I just felt literally empthy.

I will be honest, Jason was the one that like grab my attention...... but I play Marius route in ToT and I don't think they can top anything that I have ever read with Marius' story.

Marius is a such complex and colorful character, Jason felt like a colder and edgy version of him and I am not sure if this is my what I want to see, because I like characters that are misterious, with some walls, but also that has a soft and caring heart. I don't get that last part as Jason's vibe.

I could go for another route... but nobody really grabbed my attention, I feel like Thomas maybe would've been my route if he wasn't Thomas or maybe MCs boss is more my speed....... but I never felt so confused about a whole set of Lis, normally, I look at one and I choose and I KNOW they spark something on me.

The new Lis of MCL didn't got not even a single spark out of me.

I'm probably just being picky, but this is so weird for me, nobody seems really my type, I don't think anyone is gorgeous/handsome enough to make me like, feel like I did so many times before with other characters.

The art somehow looks worst too...... I don't get what is happening, I don't like the aesthetic of the game neither, I kinda miss the soft kinda dreamy but toned down mood that MCLUL or even MCLLL had????

You know what I feel seeing all the things I did see of it??? They didn't cook that game properly while making it, it wanna tap too much styles (decor and customization), the scenary looks good but not a place that would really exist or interest me personally, it feels like a breed between Eldarya and MCL and...... I don't like it.

Again, I don't like the Lis.

I don't think the story is gonna be anything extraordinary, I think it's gonna be mid at best and mid I already had with MCLLL and Eldarya, another mid feels too repetitive.

I'm sorry it's been a hot minute since I interacted with the fandom but what is happening with Eldarya??? Also what is call of the dragon?? 👀

Oh boy anon... where to start?!

Let me try to draw a timeline...

1. The company decided to cut Eldarya in two seasons, move Lance's introduction as LI to season 2, remove other LIs and give the game to another creator since around episode 22 of TO. Since then Chino has stopped working on Eldarya and, this is my personal opinion, the person who took over had no interest in romance because since then the only romantic interactions we've had in Eldarya have been a few random sex scenes. No deep dialogues, no dates, no cuddling, not even kissing except maybe one or two exceptions and this has continued all the way through season 2.

2. In March 2021 the company hosting Beemoov's servers in Europe caught fire. Beemoov's servers were destroyed, fortunately most backups were in another building so all their games and accounts were saved except for... you guess it, Eldarya. All European language accounts were lost and the american and brazillian servers were the only ones who got spared. We all lost our accounts and the company had to come up with a way to bring people back to the game. They created a new free currency for TO and opened a shop for a few months. This led to the first season becoming completely unprofitable, plus lots of people never came back since then. Mostly old players who used to spend money on their collections.

3. New games started to be developped, Uncoven and Henri's Secret season 2. The "new" Eldarya creator went off to write Uncoven at the same time as still being theoretically in charge of Eldarya. The company started to recycle events mechanics both in MCL and Eldarya so everyone has been unhappy with events in both games because they are extremely repetitive since basically two years.

4. ANE's writing has gone more and more downhill. It'd started decently but because the writer was new and had no idea what happened in TO nor what were Chino's characters backhrounds and history, the story is full of plot holes, contraddicting things all the time and all the characters' personalities have changed. It reads like a different game.

5. Lots of people have left, very few are playing the game at this point, and even less are spending money on it, so it's very very obvious that the company is just letting it die, the game is often bugged and the art quality is a hit or miss. Only 2 episodes are left at this point. Fans who still cling to it are angry. Fans who abandoned are sad. No one wants to play ANE anymore but lots of people wish there was a revamp of the game once ANE ends, with good writing and art. However, because the game isn't making money right now the company won't invest in something that is not profitable.

About your last question, Eldarya: the Dragon's Call is a story I'm writing and publishing on my AO3. The main plot is Chinomiko's and we brainstorm together all events and characters' backgrounds and personalities. This is the story of Lance's route and Valkyon’s routes if she were to make Alternate Eldarya games. Because at the moment this isn't planned I asked her if I could write it and share it with people and she kidly said yes. If the company ever decides to make Alternate Eldarya games I will delete it. If you want to read this story, links are in the pinned post in my blog, I've released 4 chapters so far and the 5th is coming this weekend ☺️

Aengels are weapons, part 1.

Sike! I guess I actually will post my Eldarya fanfictions or whatever.

-  Huang Hua! We can’t find them anywhere; I sent all my guardians and they’re not at the HQ, not even nearby!

- Keep looking for them, Chrome! We won’t rest until we find them.

- Huang Hua there 's no time! If we don’t take action we’re going to be attacked first.

It’s been 3 days since the entire HQ is looking for Erika, Leiftan and Lance after the members of The Light Guard were taken as prisoners and Huang Hua decided to monopolize and start a monarchy here, with her being the Supreme Leader. Maybe that’s why we’re being attacked, probably we had a mole amongst us and they noticed her evil plan before ourselves did. Chrome said that Huang Hua had been planning something big a while ago, but that he never expected this situation. Guess who’s by her side? It’s not even her lover but that freaking traitor Mathieu.

We’re in a risky situation; Chrome and I helped Erika and the other two hide after what she told us before running away. A week ago she came to our room in the middle of the night, all shaky, full of cold sweat and with panic in her eyes. She said she overheard Huang Hua talking to Mathieu in the most arrogant way and heard their whole plan. The whole story she told us was so made up that it was impossible not to believe her; she couldn’t have thought of that the very next day she told us she was excited because Huang Hua mentioned to her she was going to be vital for her next great plan. 

-She lied to me. She said her greatest plan would involve a happy HQ no one had ever seen, not even in dreams. She said pain would completely go away and we would only see light, but all I heard today in her words was misery and sorrow. There will be an extermination, she plans on getting rid of everyone, in her words: unuseful, weak or too young. That’s the way she thinks we’ll be living in the best era Eldarya has ever known. It seems Mathieu found a strange way of controlling Leiftan and I, I'm not sure what he meant; and after winning Lance’s trust, they both think they’ll be able to manipulate the three of us into their malevolent plan.

I think Erika truly wished for all this to be a nightmare, I saw her pinching her own hand several times, even leaving marks of how strongly she was pinching herself. And I can totally empathize with her, she went through a war she never expected nor wanted, she saw several loved ones passing away in completely cruel ways and even lost one of her best friends right in front of her. Not to mention her life itself, if we could say so. I see where her fear comes from.

You can see why we had troubles in knowing what to do? Dealing with Erika’s traumas wasn’t easy and it actually took her some time to process and heal after she woke up from the Crystal; but she can’t deal with a war, neither do we. And having Huang Hua as the main enemy was one of the worst things that could happen, everything we could say or even think that was a lie would be noticed by Huang Hua easily, after all she can read our auras.

Sooooo... hello :D do I still have at least one follower? Anyways, I'll have to think I have 0 audience or else I'll get shy and nervous of your opinions. If you follow me and you are thinking: "Why?" That's an easy answer! A while ago I posted a One Shot? Tbh I do not remember which one of all my unseen unrevealed stories it was, but it also involved a Eldarya situation that I like to think it's better than the actual one (that is not bad but could've been handled in a MUCH better way, such a disaster of history and horrendous timings, but BEEMOV <3).

However, last time I said I was going to keep posting my stories... HA! I felt cringe about my own story :( and you can even read in my very last post before this that the pain was real, because I even erased the post. BUT, I'll make a promise here and right now: " I Madrigal, citizen of the Planet Earth promise to keep posting even if I feel like I wrote pure trash after a few months". Let's hope this makes me feel guilty of breaking my own promise to myself so I can keep writing and posting muahahahaaa!

I'm sorry if there's a mistake! I'm not an english speaker but I think I have quite a long vocabulary :) *I like to think so*.

The entire story I plan to keep in the white colour (or black idk depending on your tumblr page and colours), but I'd like to make the characters dialogues more noticeable by using colours; so the sudden pops of colour are the things the character said. Not thoughts, not narrative, but SAID.

The orange colour I'll use it for my thoughts, opinions or things I'd like to say. SO, after my longa*s explanation and excuse, my afterwords are coming: I hope you enjoyed this at least a little and I hope you did not think it is boring. Having said that, thanks and see ya.

So when I refresh Eldarya (because today is up the new outfit) I saw an old picture about Eldarya and I was like "what?!😱 i didn't even happened in Eldarya! Were you planning it but then you reject the idea?!"😑

"I choose Eldarya" or "I choose Ashkore"I wish it could have happened because I think many of you would be happy if we could choose to follow Ashkore and I'm really curious what could have happened😩. Why did you do it, Beemov?🙄

And when I first saw it (before i started to play with Eldarya) I thought it will really happen, but it didn't...And so anyway about Lance, I know i said it once here but I tell it again: the TO Lance doesn't even look alike ANE Lance😕. Now I'm at episode 4 of ANE and I could say the behaviour is the same but the appearance not at all. I could even think about that it may be Lance's cousin or a distant relative? 🤔 When I watched the "After" movie, I thought about the name of Vance. It could fit him, isn't it? 😂

And sometimes I think about Erika's bad behavior. Okay, we know he tried to kill you, even twice and it's like it happened a few days ago to you but girl, can't you see how he changed or what?! He didn't tried to kill you at the market and he was worried about you when you spit blood, he was thoughful!! I know you're suspicious but do you really think Lance is acting, really?! Him? He never was an actor (in my opinion) and he never lied when he manipulated people, he just told his own truth and force people to follow him. So I don't understand you. Why do you think he's kind to you? And moreover, after his brother death do you think he keep plan to destroy Eldarya?! Really? Ah😩.

I'm not give up Eldarya yet but I can tell you that I don't like Erika sometimes and that she and me are TOTALLY OPPOSITES. So that's all for now that i wanted to say. Thank you.

So, if ANE is our new canon and Bible- there is this magic potion that is the only birth control in Eldarya, am I right? TO being forgotten and all that jizz jazz. I meant JAZZ.  I sure hope it works better than most potions in Eldarya, heh heh.

Back to main topic-  Karenn doesn’t know what STDs are, the mere concept of urogenital disease is horrible to her (why tho? these are just body parts, same as others, why should they be immune to illness?) @ kymera-casterwill has exact screenshots of this chit-chat with some excellent points being made.

And this is where the sex-talk ends. Don’t get me wrong- I never craved sex education, talking about birth control, stds in ELDARYA game, because well- this is not why I started playing this game :)

But taking away very trivial things like those^^^ makes Eldarya even less... of the world?

Authors and creators work hard to make their universum unique AND real-like, thus some of them do not shy away from “unsightly” themes, such as medical gore, racial and social problems. The world of GoT- has a very unique magic system, ecosystem, history, they have a differrent diseases and all those details help readers to believe in it, to understand it more. Witcher universum- it’s even better in my honest opinion, but it also has a very complicated world building. If you want something “softer”, let’s talk abt Peter S. Beagle‘s The Unicorn Sonata world had its own problems despite being heavenly place.

Some avoid it tho and that is also fine. However, Eldarya TO mentioned things like that- there were conflicts, races were distrustful, elves were problematic assholes, some races were being seen as “inferior” by some faeries, there was a famine, it was a bit more real. And in ANE we know the reason why the situation improved- food is no longer a huge problem. We are few years after two faeries made sacrifice, that could make huge inpact on nations. But would merely 7 years erase centuries of prejudice and hostility? 

While playing TO we learnt about corrupting power of Crystal, we read abt maana fluctuation in faeries’ bodies (was it named “Pynels esasy on madness correlation between equilibrum of spirit and essensce  maana”? I need to replay TO again). Those interesting details that would make Eldarya more substantial, and not only they are never mentioned again, I feel like they are abandoned.

Eldarya is now a peacful, pretty land, with wise and beautiful ruler-leader Huang Hua. No one questions her (perhaps she is a hidden vilain, that would be interesting), apart from kitsune kind there are no conflicts now. Even Lance and faeries who were with him decided that Eldarya is suddenly a place worth to live on. Someone call Thomas More, we have found his Utopia!

The creators of ANE made a decision to make Eldarya a very happy land, with danger coming mostly from outside (humans, guns, even stds). Yea, I know- Tenjin, they will have to solve problem with him before ending of ANE. This was a choice and I cannot say it was a bad one- maybe the one I won’t enjoy, but def some players love and will love this glow upped version of Eldarya. To me with small decissions like those above they make Eldarya less of the real world, and more like a dream. I fear that there won’t be a future for Eldarya- not as a game, but as a world.

As most of my posts I will tag it as rant, but once again: making Eldarya a perfect place can be a good thing and if you love such idea there is nothing wrong with it.
