#not even one of the most popular elo songs but i think about it so much.... there's just so much emotion in it #the singer pleads with the operator to let the phone ring just a little bit longer bc he wants to speak to his lover so badly #but is forced to reckon with the fact that maybe things arent going as well as he hoped and she doesnt want to pick up #but she could also just not be not home! so hes left dialing over and over unsure where they stand

I think some people don’t really understand why writers need to talk about their projects and ideas. 

It’s not about praise and attention, it’s that having the chance to speak out about our ideas and bouncing them around with someone is incredibly productive and makes it all more fun! You sort things out, get new ideas, it feels great! 

I’ve been stuck for a while because I had no one, having everything sealed in my brain and needing to rely on inspiration (hoping for it ti come) isn’t helpful at all.
