private K-12 education is probably one of the worst evils in the united states. the mere existence of private K-12 education in the 21st century is rooted in racism and classism. almost always is public education done to push a de facto segregationist agenda to keep children of color and/or children from lower socioeconomic strata out of having a good education. it is also the same reason why there is a push to defund public schools; the idea is that children of parents who cannot afford an education simply do not deserve education at all. it is an intentional means to prevent any economic mobility for certain populations.

#the computer one is pissibg me off particularly because i Just built this shit two years ago #then i do a driver update a couple of weeks ago and start noticing that now if i game and watch a stream at the same time #some windows process starts choking the fucking life out of my CPU after a couple of hours #and after following a chain of looking shit up i get to ghe event viewer #and there's just a nonstop parade of errors for typically one or two things #at this point i drag my dad in because im out of my depth #i do some more shit. i update and reflash the bios. i check drivers 500 times. i reformat the drive and reinstall windows from scratch. #even if it seems okay for a bit it eventually starts shitting out errors again. #they are either about DeviceGuard or complaining about the network #i look up some more things! i find some references but they tell me to turn off or on some things that are already enabled or disabled. #we begin thinking theres something wrong with the network part of the motherboard #i have an adapter we grabbed from work to try when i get home. #if that doesnt work then i am buying a new motherboard cpu memory and cpu cooler #because if im going to have to fucking replace shit then i might as well upgrade #part of me wants to keep the old stuff and set up a new computer and try troubleshooting because puzzle. and i hate not knowing WHAT PART #SPECIFICALLY is fucked #bro i am so TIRED #i JUST did the math a few weeks ago and was like YES if i live on ramen for a few pay cycles i will pay off my credit card and start saving #to put toward my student loans when those start up again. and my computer went 'lol thats cute' #like i am deathly afraid that i will replace all this shit and it'll STILL have this issue #like. it's useable. i could live with it. but it's clearly not normal behavior and that's what bothers me. something is clearly wrong. #not to sound old but remember when shit just fuckin worked #like i sat there for 5 hours yesterday trying different shit. finally thought i had fixed something. go to bed. wake up. #STREAM OF ERRORS for the network thing again every few minutes while i was asleep. #what are you DOING. what is WRONG WITH YOU. #my dad is looking over my shoulder at the event viewer like 'that looks like a SQL statement but why is it failing etc etc' #EXCELLENT QUESTION AND I ONLY UNDERSTOOD THREE OF THOSE WORDS! why is my computer sick!! #no it's not a virus. i promise. i was raised better than that #it FEELS like something fundamentally broke. it feels like a hardware thing. but how. what fucking demons did microsoft summon #in a driver update. that went into my computer and physically broke my shit

i know althea had to sacrifice a lot of her power in order to reincarnate two very powerful gods as mortals (erin and quinn) (also sacrifice her time. she has two dragon children trashing the house now) so i imagine she's sisters with lady oriel and passed down the role of "princess of the seraphs" to her.. also want more lady oriel content

anyways she's like erin and quinn's aunt now and i giggle to myself thinking about how when quinn ends up on unicorn way trying to save it he keeps getting frustrated with trying to figure out how wands and cards work and would rather just cause a giant hailstorm in his dragon form, (which would destroy the whole street) and oriel has to babysit this very chaotic child

erin comes in and oriel cannot keep her hedge maze in peace because the two are running around like tiny rats as baby dragons and scaring away all the fairies. unicorn way has a new problem now and it's not the undead this time

atm im also trying to make a phoenix and leviathan oc too, and they're pirates.... ill be back with an update on this one in like 72 years

          After the events of Thousand Year Blood War, Ichigo returned to the World of the Living and graduated High School. With the events of the War still fresh in his mind, it soon began to put life into perspective for the young man. Life itself was short on this earth, and while he knew that Soul Society was waiting for him on the other side, Ichigo intended to make the Human life he still has just as important as the Shinigami life he’s led for the past few years.

          That said, the boy was severely lacking in the ‘ Hopes & Dreams ’ department of this plan. High School was over now, everyone was moving on to bigger and better things. He wanted to attend College, but without a firm idea of what he wanted to do as a career, Ichigo struggled for months over the idea. With the grades he’d managed to retain, he truly was spoiled for choice with what he could be studying, which made the entire situation worse.

          After many long talks with all of his friends, including a good chunk of Shinigami, it could be said that the boy was even more confused about the entire situation. Completely exasperated by the entire situation, Ichigo turned to the last person he thought could put his mind at ease, especially with a situation as delicate as this. Isshin Kurosaki, his own father, a full fledged adult in his own right ( That was pushing it. ) who could give him the insight on what to possibly do.

          Surprisingly enough, Isshin was actually the most help he’d received on the matter. He knew how important this conversation was, how life changing the effects could be, and how much Ichigo deserved to be happy after everything he’d been through to protect everyone else. Beyond their talk in Thousand Year Blood War about Masaki and their love story, this was one of the only serious, heartfelt conversations the two had shared over the years. It was really nice to see this side of his father, something Ichigo wished would come about more often, but was content with knowing that wouldn’t be the case.

          After talking with Isshin, Ichigo decided that he would get into the Medical Field, and follow in his father’s footsteps and become a Doctor. It aligned with a lot of the boy’s wants. He wanted to protect people, he wanted to give people the chance to live their best lives, and he respected his father’s profession with everything he had ( Even aiding him with several patients over the years ). With the barest experience already, and the perfect mentor to guide him on this journey ( An option to build a closer relationship with his father as well ), Ichigo enrolled in Medical School as soon as he could.

          Ichigo very much began to frequent the Squad 4 Barracks on his days off from school, visiting Hanataro and the others and trying to absorb all the medical knowledge he could, even struggling to learn the barest Healing Kido he could muster. This was his path in life now, and he would see it through to the bitter end and love every second of it.

on my commute today i got like this fitness inspiration ad on youtube where it was like cheesy “defy the odds” kinda stuff and it blasted me back to high school where like this guy who had lost his arm as a kid came to the school and did like this really forced (well meaning but i hated it bc the student they had running it was the same girl calling me slurs and assaulting me with books and they took this opportunity to bully me further bc they kept insisting on being assigned to me) anti bullying session based around like “you can do P.E. without being fully able bodied” and again i personally hated it but my teacher that hosted it at the time just played the video and took the opportunity to just mock him for losing his arm and the whole class and her just laughed and joked about calling him “stumpy” or something and i feel like. this paints a decent picture of my high school personally

#i know most high schools suck this isnt news but no one who went to my hs besides the favorite kids enjoyed it #bc honestly it was full of flat out bigots in the making who went out of their way to harass lgbt and disabled students #that the teachers all enabled and even participated in bc they thought they were a total riot or just hated the kids they bullied themselves #and honestly people id consider are in desperate need of therapy (one group of boys mocked a mom onstage who's son died violently #telling her she was the reason he died and they wouldve killed themselves if they were her son. he died in a freak accident #and the teachers did nothing even when she visibly got more upset and uncomfortable and got mad at the girl telling them to stop) #like my mom plays devils advocate with me she never believes me on anything and insists im lying for attention #and even SHE admits my high school in particular disturbed her and she keeps saying she wishes she transferred me #echoed voice
