Ok you've written various versions of thIs so I just have to ask... What do you think is Simon and Ambar sexual experience before each other?

Oof, that's a hard question.

If we consider which countries they're both from and the average age in which people usually lose their virginities in those countries, then both of them shouldn't have been virgins by the start of the series (usually those first experiences are around 15 or 16)

BUT we have to consider their personalities too and their backgrounds, because they might not be the average teen.

If we only considered Season 3, then we'd have to say that they were not virgins because there's no fucking way with the sexual tension oozing out of them both. HOWEVER, I feel like a lot of the actors was slipping into the characters during that season, both of them 20-something adults with obvious previous sexual experience, so I feel like judging on Season 3 events would be an statistical mistake.

So, we'd have to judge based on Season 1 and Season 2 alone. In season 1, Ámbar has her 17th birthday, and it is mentioned many times, I believe, that she and Matteo had been dating for a long while previous to the start of the series, so, basing ourselves on that and, like I said, the average age in Argentina, we'd have to assume that Ámbar and Matteo had sex at some point (or, if not p-in-v sex, they at least did a lot of the other stuff that also count as sex)

The only thing that makes me question it is that, you know, Ámbar and Matteo didn't have the closest relationship from what we see in Season 1? Matteo seemed very dismissive of Ámbar and Ámbar looked like she was with him because he was cool and on the same level as her so they made sense as a couple and she loved the idea of them together more than Matteo himself. However, as many of you might know, you don't exactly need to have deeper feelings for someone to have sex with them 😂 And they were hormonal teenagers, so all they really needed was some mutual attraction and the opportunity to be alone (which I assume both of them would have plenty of considering they're portrayed as rich kids who their parents usually leave alone as long as they do well in school and stuff.) Now, would Ámbar want to be that vulnerable with Matteo? You know, the whole letting someone else see you naked and/or literally inside you. I would have to say no, she wouldn't. BUT, again, maybe she just didn't see it that way and it was just sex, just an activity that regular teenagers do with their partners, and I know that the Ámbar back then would want to 'be cool' and look cool in front of her peers, so she would definitely want to have sexual experience because, otherwise, she could look lame, especially if she'd been dating her boyfriend for a long time. It would be 'expected' of them to have sex, and Ámbar would want to meet those expectations.

So, going for that logic, I assume Ámbar did have sexual experience prior to the series. Definitely not an emotionally-based one though.

Now, let's go for Simón.

Simón is older than most characters in the show when it starts (we know because he already finished high school.) Now, it is never stated how old exactly he is (I've seen some magazines give him some age or another but, as I've been informed, those were not official), but we can assume he was either just turned 18 (Like, he turned 18 right before the start of the show) or he turned 19 at some point of season 1 that they didn't show.

If we based ourselves on the average age at which teenagers lose their virginity, and especially MALES, then there's no freaking way he would still be a virgen unless he was considered ugly or incredibly unpopular due to his personality, but I think we can agree he's neither of those things.

HOWEVER, the opposite thing to Ámbar happens here in which I think Simón would only do sexual things with someone he had an emotional connection with. He's shown as this very sensitive, golden retriever guy from the very start of the show, so while I know that that can totally co-exist with a rowdy, extensive sexual history in real life, I just can not believe that it would be the case for him. I just can't picture it.

So it all would come down to, Did Simón have a long-term girlfriend before the show? I gotta say it seems unlikely, because the only ex we're shown is Daniela, which, I believe, is mentioned they only had one summer together?? Or a summer thing that wasn't really a relationship?? You'll have to excuse me if I don't remember that right, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think Simón would go all the way with a girl he'd only been seeing for the summer. Sure, it could look 'romantic' in his head, but no way. I think it would seem too fast for him, and he also wouldn't want to get too deeply invested in a relationship that he knew was not going to last beyond the summer.

In addiction to this, we're also led to believe that Simón has been in love with Luna for a looong time and he just hadn't realized it yet. (Whether that's true or if it was everyone's insistence that made him start looking at his feeling for Luna that way, is up to you to decide.) If that's true, maybe that would make it a little difficult for him to have girlfriends ?? Like, maybe that's why he only had short flings during the summer with girls because deep down his heart already belonged to another ???? I have no idea honestly. I do imagine he had crushes and, like I said, short relationships with girls throughout his life (because he's too much of a romantic and too cute for him to NOT have had dates during school and stuff) but I don't think he ever dated one for like a year or something, unless it was like from 14 to 15, or from 15 to 16, I guess that could be possible, and then he had his fling with Daniela in the summer of his 17 year and that would be all.

So. Considering all this. Did Simón have sexual experience before the show? ....A little, maybe. Like I said, p-in-v sex is not the only way to have sex with someone else. Simón could have, I don't know, done some dry-humping with a girlfriend before?? Again, because they're hormonal teenagers and the age at which MALES, specifically, do those things is usually even lower than girls. I think some petting over the clothes during a makeout session is more likely. At much he touched a boob. And at much he received a hand job if he happened to have an experienced older girlfriend, but I think that's it.

Maybe I'm not being realistic enough and I'm picturing him too innocently. (I've received comments in Wattpad from south american readers who are firm believers both Simón and Ámbar had sex before the show because there's no way they would've have at their age.) You'll have to excuse me if you believe that's the case, but I just can't see Simón having sex with someone before the show. Like, with the way his character is portrayed, I just can't see it. And, you know, I'm a 26-year-old girl with a lot of outside knowledge but personally I didn't even kiss anyone during my teenage years, so it's easy for me to imagine others also not doing it 😂 I think the answer to this question you asked me, anon, can differ a lot depending on the personal experience of the person receiving it.

IN SUMMARY. What do I think Simón and Ámbar's sexual experience was before each other? For Ámbar, I think she had sex before. Maybe not all the way but most probably yes. For Simón, I think he was a virgin.

(Again, all of this is not taking season 3 into account because if we did, both of them would obviously not be virgins anymore.)

I don't know what everyone else thinks. Do you agree with me or do you have your reservations? To be clear, it's not like I'm 100% sure of this assessment either. I like to play with all possibilities of this in my fics and I'm not married with an specific headcanon. The analysis I made in this post is only me using logic and trying to be as unbiased as possible, but I'm a human being and I can totally fail.

(Murdoc did send out a memo about looking threatening in front of the cute hostage, but I don't think anyone got it in time...)

Taking this opportunity to discredit the tattoo designs as my own! They're compilations of bits and pieces of tattoo designs I found on Google - not designed by me in any right

So we have Prince 2-D (age 23), dressed in early 17th century fashion (oof I love 17th C fashion so much) - dress shirt, vest embellished with pearls, breeches, tights, ribbons around the calfs, no shoes because I'm lazy because the crew removed them. He's been taken hostage by Murdoc and his crew (who don't know he's royalty, but can tell he's rich and plan to hold him for a high ransom). Due to bad organisation, 2-D had been left unattended on his ship whilst at a stop on the way one of the British colonies - so when Murdocs crew boarded to steal supplies, they found him and snatched him very easily.

Captain Murdoc Niccals and his crew! The crew is only 5 people (incl. Captain) which is obviously very scarce, especially compared to the usual odd 30 aboard other ships. The crew includes (more or less in order of power) Murdoc, Noodle, Russel, Del and Ace. Whilst the crew is small in numbers, they have a somewhat sizeable ship for the 5 of them that they stole from the Portugese navy and find it easier than others at sea to keep the whole crew fed and comfortably sheltered. Whilst lacking strength in numbers, their ship is smaller hence faster than most others, and rather than simply a group of criminals, each member has their skills - making them a good team and giving them a good success rate (that, and they know not to bite more than they can chew).

Murdoc (age 32) has the same design as my siren au, mostly because I figured that it'd still fit. Now he has a sleeve as well, just because I loove Polynesian style tattoos... He has a sword on his hip with a raven on the handle which he specifically hunted for, because he's a slut for the goth aesthetic he loves ravens (he keeps Cortez in his quarters). He also has a pistol, but he'll always favour using a sword because he hates guns. He's captain of the ship mostly because he's the bossiest and no one else really cares enough to argue with him being the leader, and the ship's democratic anyway so it's not really even that important lol. Despite being an arsehole, he takes care of his crew and has a knack for orchestrating successful raids. When they aren't working as a crew, Murdoc mostly keeps to his quarters and tends to be rather antisocial most of the time - still he trusts the crew and they trust him.

Noodle (age 15 - phase 2 haircut is BACK) serves as first mate/quartermaster (not formally) simply because Murdoc trusts her the most. She was the first member of Murdocs crew, as he rescued her from her sinking ship as she tried to escape the isolationist Edo-period Japan in a boat she made herself in an effort to explore the world when she was 8. She collects jewellery and sells it for extremely high prices whenever they land, but keeps some for herself/her friends. She carries a revolver, which Murdoc dislikes, but she prefers long-distance weapons, which is why Murdoc allows it, as it's safer for her anyway. She doesn't have any tattoos due to ship rules (no tattoos until aged 16), but she desperately wants some.

Ace (aged 17 - he's got his hairline back!!) was picked up by Noodle during a visit to France 5 years ago. His role is similar to cabin boy, where he kind of helps out with everyone's jobs/does what they ask. His jacket used to have sleeves, but he tore them off on the evening of his 16th birthday (after he got his tattoo - Noodle was very jealous). The red beads were given to him by Noodle when he first joined the crew because Murdoc had made a joke about not having anything to give him to symbolise initiation to the crew. He's closest with Noodle, as they're the youngest on board and the ones that tend to have the most free time.

Russel (age 27) is the pilot, who steers the ship. They rarely have a goal location, so Russel looks for safe places to port (to raid ships in port) or non-navy, safely-sized ships to raid out on the water - Murdoc told him that they can raid navy ships but Russel pretends not to see them because he knows that Murdoc is an arrogant prick. He has a tattoo on his chest which consists of a mask surrounded by compass-like markings. He wears a gold locket around his neck that Del gave him, but he doesn't tell people what's in it, or even if there is anything in it. He shares quarters with Del for reasons the crew aren't supposed to discuss in the open (Russdel fuk yeh)

Del (aged 26 and ALIVE) spends most of the day in the crows nest (which is why he isn't pictured above) as he's the ship's barrelman. He's yells stuff down to Russel whilst he's steering because they're the dream team. He and Russel joined the crew at the same time 5 years ago, Murdoc befriended the two in a prison in London, where they'd been expecting death penalty for their relationship and he'd been waiting to serve a sentence for thieving, and the three had escaped together. Russel does the ribbon in his hair, and he changes the colour every fortnight or so. Also, Del knows who 2-D is and assumes everyone else does - but he's wrong because they're a bunch of loveable dumbarses

❣️ - What are their love languages?

{Well, he's a songwriter, so firstly it's words of affirmation. He can & will unapologetically compliment, always reminding them he loves them, writing songs about them. That doesn't mean he can easily take compliments, though, so essentially, he can dish it out, but can't take it if it comes right back at him.

The other main one is likely Acts of Service. Which is probably obvious, considering how dedicated he is to fixing Spikemuth mostly on his own. He pays attention & is a very caring person, so shows that most through gestures/doing things for a partner. Piers is a huge fan of small gestures, too, so he’d be sure to do them as often as he can. He'd jump at the chance to help them with anything they need, no matter how big or small. But he's also big on letting them be independent as well, so he knows when to jump in and when to let them handle something on their own.

Going along with the independence thing: he has a sharp independent streak, so good luck trying to help him with things. With him having to fend for himself ever since he came to live in Spikemuth, he's learned to... not accept help so easily and work through things on his own most of the time. So, it's a struggle for him to ask for any kind of help.}

🌙 - What’s their sleep schedule like?

{Oof, this man? Has a terrible sleep schedule, his concerts often starting late afternoon/evening & going way late into the night surely not helping. And then there's the fact that he feels strongly that he owes it to Spikemuth’s citizens to repair the town, increase its reputation in any way he can. He can’t let himself rest too often since his mind is always buzzing with what he could be doing instead, be it music things or doing more to fix Spikemuth, leading to him being too fidgety when he forces himself to take a break from anything.

He's known for pulling all-nighters, whether it be for music-related things or just staying awake because he couldn't sleep. Tending to go out and wander around Spikemuth/the surrounding area, finding the region at night to be far more relaxing.

His Pokemon often have to drag him to bed with Malamar giving him light enough hypnosis that he'll be able to sleep. There's also no League staff member in Spikemuth when there was one at every other Gym as well as a small crowd of people, which leads me to think Piers was managing the Gym all by himself.

🎁 - How do they feel about their birthday/birthdays in general?

{His birthday is September 17th, and he doesn't treat it as anything special. Just tries to go about it as normally as any other day for him and not thinking too much about the significance behind it, if any.

But for others' birthdays, especially if they're loved ones' birthdays? Oof, he'll do everything he can (regardless of how awkward he might be) to make it a good day for them. He pays close attention to what they like/could want, so he'll be certain to get whatever they'd been eyeing recently as a gift than feign it as a coincidence he just so happened to ger what they'd been wanting. But if they don't want a big thing made of their birthday, he'd hold himself back and respect their choice.}

🍷- How do they feel about alcohol?

{Piers rarely ever drinks, only at social events with others (if he even goes out at all) with him maybe taking a drink or two. Probably to loosen himself up a bit.}
