“President Joe Biden ticked through several things that he needed to see Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu do immediately: open up the Erez crossing into northern Gaza and the port of Ashdod in southern Israel for humanitarian aid; significantly ramp up the supplies getting in through Kerem Shalom.
A person familiar with the Thursday call paraphrased Netanyahu as responding: “Joe, we’re gonna do it.”
But Biden wasn’t finished. The prime minister must announce the moves that evening, the president insisted.
By Thursday night, the Israeli security cabinet had approved those three measures to increase humanitarian aid entering the besieged enclave.”

this was an addition on another post but I thought it deserved its own because I keep seeing posts about marriage that would fit in on right wing conspiracy YouTube
people should be allowed to choose whether or not they want to get married. posting about how people who don't want to get married are idiots and there's no viable reason why a person might choose not to get legally married makes you sound like Jerry Falwell. marriage should be legally accessible by ALL people regardless of disability, gender or sexuality, but basic rights should ALSO be available to all and not, as this person puts it, locked behind dominant cultural institutions

I like watching currently airing shows for many reasons - makes it easier to be caught up on multiple things at once, I like reading the fandom convos as they evolve, I LOVE having something weekly to look forward to - but I fully respect folks who wait til a show airs to be able to watch it as a complete thing (and/or to be able to ensure the ending doesn't completely suck before they start).
HOWEVER! I would recommend those of you usually not into watching-as-it-goes check out Midnight Museum, because. Not knowing what the fuck is going on with this one is an extremely powerful experience. I feel like once we get confirmation of what the fuck is going on, it's gonna become a completely different tv show. I mean maybe they'll somehow manage to make what's going on even wilder than our questions about what is going on (uhhhh the opening scene of episode 4??? is this a horror show or a show about [redacted]????). But I would just strongly encourage anyone who would normally wait for the whole thing to air to join us for this particular ride.

Utterly hilarious to watch Chris Pratt suddenly want to LOUDLY announce WHICH evangelical church he goes to and say he's not "really religious" (proof: he and the new wife had their baby baptized at the Catholic Church she went to as a child--just leave that there for you).
The church?
Zoe Church. Modeled after Hillsong (which Pratt says he never attended), but which IS the church that's claimed to be the one he defended by saying, "Even though the Bible says divorce is wrong (woof), they supported me after my divorce."
Like, my sibling is shit, sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up. No one asked for further clarification from you, and you walked around in a shirt that said Godfidence. No "not really religious" person does that shit.
He's the same kind of fucking wants-it-all evangelical type I've known my whole life: Pretty fucking aware no one will hang out with him if he goes hard for the major evangelical talking points (anti-abortion, anti-queer) but so desperately wants everyone to like him tries to walk an imaginary line to look good and just looks like a complete horse's ass.
