Post 8 faces (it's suposed to be 9 but I dont have that many sims) of sims you have 100% created (not born in game) to spot similarities and to see your style.

I was inspired by this post from @xiasimla

I can deffinetly see my style here and I'm proud of archieving some variety without cc sliders (only iris size cuz buhundain's fix makes them tiny)

I realized that I'm unable to create good looking black sims because there are not many good maxis match ethnic hairs, and the dark skins tend to look ashy and shine like plastic, SO if anyone has tips on this I would appreciate the feedback <3

I saw @xiasimla do this the other day and I thought I'd give it a go too since it looked like fun!

For whatever reason I don't often make my own sims from scratch, I tend to just do makeovers on EAs townies and play them, but these hooligans are 100% swaggy original (and the only ones I even have right now so there was no cherry picking, haha). You can sometimes spot them pottering around in my scenery screenshots whilst I'm playtesting my worlds! I'm quite pleased to see the gang side by side and not being complete clones of each other, so I shall pat myself on the back for that. No idea if I have a style though other than them being maxis match?

#FaceYourSims Challenge

Figured I should do this challenge by @samssims because I’ve been tagged so long ago, I can’t even find that post anymore, so I don’t remember who tagged me, rip. But I’ve been wanting to do this for so long and finally came around to it.

Post 9 faces of sims you have 100% created (not born in game) to spot similarities and to see your style.

Since I’m so late, I won’t tag anyone. More info about my thoughts and who the sims are is under the cut.

So, I think I can see my style? I already noticed I tend to drag the nose all the way down and make it a bit bigger in general. I also tend to make both the mouth and eyes more downturned I think, idk why. And I like to make the eyes ever so slightly bigger, especially the iris. I guess those things are the closest to what I can tell about my style lol.

Anyways, I tried to use some of my most recent sims. We’ve got Niall and Judy from my decades challenge, VanGoo from that challenge where you create those unknown sims, Fawn and Bloom from my Disney legacy (spoiler? it’s ages in the future though lol), my nsb founder Melanie, Jamie who was made for samssims’ bachelorette challenge, and two cas sims without names, the first of which has many different incarnations throughout the decades and the second is one of my Abbey Road medley inspired sims. Might post them some time in the future.

I was tagged by @quiddity-jones thank you! I chose some of my recent faves. I always try to make all my sims as different from one another as possible. The one trait I do love to carry over to most of my sims is the square jaw, I just love a good strong jaw!

I wasn’t sure if I even have a style so I wanted to try this challenge! I also excluded my recreations of sims from other games, and I mostly chose sims that use the same skin and eye replacements. They’re all sims I made for various saves over the last two years, so they’re all over the place. Three futuristic/cyberpunk sims, a steampunk sim, and two supernaturals. Got sims with CC lashes, vanilla lashes, and no lashes here. I thought I was more consistent than this! 😂

Row 1: Reisa - Fresh Blue | Nathan & Rosie - Blueberry Pie Row 2: Natalia | Josie - Window Seat Eyes | Minhui Row 3: Dedrick | Ming | Hyun-woo

Using defaults, Beetle Eyes and Blue Sugar Nectar (same post as Fresh Blue), if not otherwise specified.

While making this, I realized I haven’t even made enough sims in TS2 (or TS4) to do this challenge (I mostly play premades in those games). So just TS3 for now.

i was tagged by @plumzet, thank you zoe💗😊

first of all, i thought that 9 sims was a big amount but then i got lost in my gallery and couldn’t choose the ones i would like to show for this challenge. 

secondly, i realized three things: - i really like using brown eyes for my sims, probably because i have brown eyes, too 😄; - for someone who says “i can’t make male sims”, i create quite a lot of them; - i don’t create enough of asian sims (i always try but they don’t look the way i want them to look 😕 i need to practise more!).

as for similarities, i think they all have big eyes and heads.

anyway, i love my sims :)

gahhh there were many more sims I wanted to show here but you can only post so many pictures at once </3 it was difficult to choose but I think this is a good selection! It seems that I like pointy chins, moles, and tattoos on my sims haha.

I tag anyone who wants to do this. I wasn’t tagged, but I saw some others posted and really wanted to do this.

I tried to pick a mix of my most recent sims and sims I have been playing with the last few years. I definitely give a lot of my ladies green eyes like my own. And it seems I can’t stay away from a certain face shape.. lol! I try others and still come back to to the same shape..for their face and maybe even their chins. I was staring at the guy at the top middle row one day when I realized how much he looks like my irl dad.
