EVENT: Flower Festival
WHERE: Main Street
WHO: Talon Romero ( @ofenigmas )
It had been an eventful 24 hours for Clara Jones. It started last evening, when in the first hour of her shift at the watchtower, she had spotted a lone car driving into town. It had continued when she had discovered that the man in said car was none other than one of her best friends from high school who hadn't been back to Huntsville in fifteen years. And finally, it had reached the tipping point when come morning, she woke up to discover that he was nowhere to be found, and then had to spend the entire day with his older brother without telegraphing how worried she was.
So, when she saw Talon hanging around the outskirts of the festival area, clearly alive and well, she was - to put it mildly - fucking livid. "Hey asshole," she greeted, stalking up to him and straight up shoving him in the chest with as much force as she could manage. "I saved your goddamn life last night, and then you just fucking bail without, I don't know, saying anything? You almost gave me a heart attack! I've been worried all fucking day that something horrible happened to you and yet, here you are, just casually chilling at the flower festival. What is wrong with you?!"
