imagine Fig asking Ayda if she'd still love her if she was a worm and Ayda takes it the wrong way thinking Fig will turn into a worm soon. This leads to Ayda doing extensive research on how to care for worms. One day Fig comes to the compass point library and notices an empty terrarium and asks Ayda about it. Ayda is bashful but answers,"It is for you. If you become a worm, I will give you the utmost care. I will mist your terrarium. I will put vitamin powder in the soil to keep you healthy. Your well being is most important to me. Even if you become a worm." Fig is touched and almost in tears

i like to think that when Fig is cuddled up to Ayda, Ayda wraps her wings around her in a protective manner. This causes moments where people are like "where's fig?" and almost immediately, her head pops up over Ayda's wing.

oh my... Imagine Fig playing with Ayda's hair for the first time while they're cuddling. Ayda is caught off guard because it's the first time anyone has done so (mainly because her hair is more akin to fire, luckily Fig is immune to fire). Ayda realizes she enjoys it and nuzzles her hand into Fig's hand, like a regular bird would. Fig happily continues to stroke her hair affectionately

I think the reason why I like figayda so much is being they are both people who want to be accepted for their true selves. Fig's greatest fear is Ayda learning of Fig's true self, and not liking her anymore. Ayda's biggest fear is Fig learning of Ayda's true self, and finding nothing of value to love. I relate to those feelings more than I'm willing to admit. However, they still love each other. More than anything. Even after finding out each other's true selves, they still love each other. And I think that's very beautiful. I hope everyone can experience a love like this at some point in their lives.

Fig having the urge to lay down on the grass in front of Mordred Manor. Acting on impulse, she does so. As she lays in the grass, basking in the sun, she feels a deep warm, almost an ache, in her chest. The feathers clipped on her ear shows a soft glow. Ayda's feathers. Somewhere, long in the past, Ayda lays upon the grass, right where she believes the front yard of Mordred Manor would be. The same sun, much younger, shines down upon her. There's a sense of connection. A connection to something someone who isn't there yet. She knows that her lover, her beloved paramour, is was from her reach at the moment... However, she feels as if she's right next to her. In the grass as the sun shines warmly upon their skin. Fig feels the same. She can almost sense the presence of the person she loves the most right next to her.

Their love is stronger than time itself.

And one day, they surely will be united.

But for now, they lay on the same spot of grass, missing one another. Many, many years apart.

Fig toasting marshmallows on Ayda's flame wings and making s'mores for the both of them. Ayda hesitantly reaches out, wiping some chocolate off the corner of Fig's lips. Then once playful moment is now very intimate, and they both just blush, looking away. They both vow in their minds to do this more often.
