genloss deltarune au thoughts I’m dumping here

- Each episode would be a dark world 

- Ranboo is Kris coded, they are controlled by chat the same way the player controls Kris’ soul

- When people are being controlled by Showfall they have dark world colour palettes

- All the Darkners that Ranboo encounters are Regular people that have bring brought into Dark World without knowing

- Not every Genloss Character would have an excat Delrarune counter part its just based on it, that being said Sneeg is Lancer coded (for obvious reasons) and Jerma is gonna have inspo from Spamton 

- H gives me Ralsei vibes for the theory that maybe Ralsei isnt the best guy so I’m going with that for now

- The battles in The Cabin are so good to be translated to DeltaRune battles and the cooking mini game already exists in Undertale

- all the “games” like the surgery, picking who to bring with you, mousetrap, laser room and the hole in the wall would be little mini games

- “Our purpose - Darkners’ purpose - is to assist them. It is the only way we can feel truly fulfilled!” cool quote from Ralsei to Lancer in game but can also apply to people dying so Ranboo can move along with the show ex Sneeg pulling Austin away during the hole in the wall part and killing them both so Ranboo could continue. 

- also something about Darkners being themed off inanimate objects I’m sure ill use that somehow

ummM i'm very proud of finishing not quite anointed but i did write most of it in 2022 so. maybe be not afraid bc it was waaay out of my comfort zone (hero/villain AU) and i did a lot of worldbuilding for it (that i wanna write more about later)

do you happen to know when Ranboo first introduced generation loss? or a timeline of the development so far? I figured you might know, but if you don't that's cool too

okay so! ranboo first introduced the idea of him making a horror series on july 28th of last year after he watched the walten files! twf was the original inspo for the project, and they first propsed the idea set in an 80s inspired game show, and in their words the main question that sparked it was We always say “this belongs on a vhs tape in the woods”. What if it already was? ^_^ they also experimnted with a distorted game show theme audio which was neat. they also made the genloss twt acc!

next major audio teasers was posted on october and december 18th, giving us some story insight (also heres a link to all video/audio teasers up until may of this year) on december 31st, in the video he did with anthony padilla he announced at the very end that it will not only be about the tapes but what the person who found them goes through watching them- it'll have 3 'episodes', will be live action and animated, and said that there are going to be legitimate sets and potentially multiple actors as well

he intoduced the glranboo design everyone uses on january 8th of this year, and after provided working titled for the 3 eps (The Lostfield Incident, The Lostfield Incident: Liminal Run, and The Lostfield Incident: Mind Mess). on may 1st they posted the first offical teaser/trailer on the genloss yt page [link] and teased the next trailer on the twitter page a bit after. genloss also made a quick appearance at the end of the ranboo recap video in september ^_^

and now we’re here with the genloss announcement teaser tweets on twitter :p and that evrything! i skipped more minor things cuz im assuming u just want the big stuff djhfjf. but ya :D
