Ultimate Move Cancelled (Toku): Hana is interrupted by left over Giff juniors who fuck her in all of her holes.
Tumblr media
QUEEN BEE! STAMPING! DESTROY!
"Ha!" Hana called out as her energy wings began to beat with a powerful intensity while she threw her twin kunai. Orange energy gathering around her as she flipped, twisted, and came rushing down
Giff Junior where still running rampant thanks to a few copies of the stamp that had slipped into the wrong hands. And the formed leader of Deadman... It was her duty to fix her mess!
Her foot connected with the handles of the kunai, a large orange cone of energy forming around her foot as she came rushing down with a mighty roar
.....
....
.....
Or at least that's how she saw herself. The Giff Junior having Hana pinned down as her every hole was used with a hungry savagery. She hadn't known the man behind this also had the Tapiar ViStamp. Putting the white and red rider into a hypnotic trance
Caught in a fantasy as her whole body was used as a sex toy. Cocks pumping against any and every where they could. Her tits, her hands, her feet. While her face, pussy and ass where used as just... Holes
Seed crossing her body as she lay there, moaning. Returning the pleasure by sucking and bucking, no thoughts left within her head as the Tapiar Deadman held her mind in its clutches...

Revice 38:
Papa-San decides to risk himself to perfect Giffard Rex.
Ikki, Vice, and Sakura's trio go to hold off an attack by Juniors and Giffterians.
Vail reveals to Ikki that Papa-San is in danger.
Ikki breaks the containment of Giffard Rex, and it decides to GTFO to Giff.
Ikki justifaizes his way into getting it, and we get the Tranaformation Sequence.
Revi and Vice, fully Seperated.
The opposite of how it worked until now.
This ain't even the same type of Phase 4 Doc Olt was.
However, with Ultimate Revi and Ultimate Vice, there's now a chance of defeating Giff.
Revice 39:
HANA AND TAMAKI HAVE REGAINED THEIR PROPER PLACE IN THE THEME SONG!!!!
Hikaru beware, you know what happened to the last guy those teo hung out with.
Weekend has much more resources then We've seen.
Much of the populace is believing in the Kamen Riders, that's good.
George made Mass Produced Demons Driver.
He says he's sorry because he's impressed by Hiromi's mental Strength. Not the same thing as actually being sorry.
Hikaru's fake mom's dead.
Now I'm convinced Hikaru grew up in Weekend, and his fake parents mentored him before the fake family thing.
Daiji'll never convince those under weekend's proteftion that Giff is unbeatable.
Honestly, worst case scenario, all rider kick.
Revice canonically takes place in an all rider world.
Daiji has completely lost his sanity.
Revice 40:
Ikki and Daiji duel in this one.
And we get a scene of Sakura as a Main Rider with her secondary and territary.
Hikaru's fake dad died.
He lost his real family to the Deadmans.
And he did see Hikaru as a son, affirming my theory from the previous episode.
Anyway, Akaishi actually cares about Daiji in his own way. Which is a much less fucked up way than Vail or even Kagero.
Revice 41:
Hikaru must've lost his real parents too, and at a very young age.
He was reliving his trauma after tasuke died.
Vail, and thus Papa-San, is dying.
Papa-san decides to become a rider again.
After A battle between our heroes and Akaishi and Vail, Masumi appears, to try, and fail, to transform.
And at this point, Tamaki not being a Rider is a Running Gag.
Next time, Destream!
Revice 42:
And thus concludes the Story of Kamen Rider Vail.
But Revice's endgame is upon us.
Crimson Vail and Destream looked pretty cool.
Vail's ed theme featured in this episode.
It really was the end of Papa-San's story with Vail.
Daiji rejoined the heroes.
So I assume Evility Live is in the Next one.
Revice 43:
Okay, so, I was wrong.
Daiji is still not exactly there.
But Evility is definitely next episode, alongside the return of SpiderDemons!
Hiromi Parker, one last time.
But before that....
Hikaru went further than any user of the Demons System ever has before. Full Genomix.
And Daiji straight up headshotted Akaishi. Well done.
Oh, and Regarding Masumi's Demon.
As Masumi said, His Demon *influenced* George's personality. There's not a question of "how much of George is George", there's a question of "is Masumi's Demon now a part of George" and "how heavily was George influenced". Some stuff, like his Rider Obsession, seem to have Nothing to do with Masumi, so it's probably just the level of amorality George is at. But it's still his free will. He was just influenced because he was injected with it before he was a preteen, and brains are easy to influence until late teens.
Revice 44:
Okay, so Giff is an Alien Demon that feeds on Lower Demons. And he finally has a Voice. Oh, And Olteca's alive.
George has too much respect for Hiromi to allow him to keep saying he'll lay down his life.
And Hiromi Parker's Back baby, the Incredible SpiderDemons, one last Time!
HiroDai hug, how romantic.
Kagerou's fragmented Remains inside the Holy Wing ViStamp have been restored into Kagerou! Perfect Wing, one Angelic, One Demonic, HE! IS! BATMAAAAAAAANNN!!!!!
The Sankyoudai and Hiromi, all together once again. Our First Four Riders.
Meanwhile, George missed Saying Goodbye to his Father. Causing the mental Anguish that would cause him to spiral and Go Insane after Giff is Defeated.
Revice 45:
Olteca's back.
Hana makes it clear she intends to serve Jailtime once they're done saving the world.
Lovekov's molting.
Sakura sees her as a pet.
Tamaki can't stand being sidelined anymore.
Clone Deadmen.
Return of Evil Bat, Live Bat, and Live Jackal.
And Red. Eyed. Vice.
Revice 46:
SUBARASHI!
Hiromi Barton, Kagerou&Daiji, MAGNIFICENT.
HikaGo, Great!
Over Demons Tamaki, Great as well!
But Kamen Rider Julio needs to happen, post series.
Sakura and Lovekov, Invibcible Jeanne, GOOD, GREAT, OUTSTANDING, AMAZING!!
did not expect the return of the Giff Statue, but it was good.
Oh, and when this ep came out, I had the Mental Image of Tamaki and Hikaru calling Sakura "Sakura-Ohsama", because King Cobra.
The Revice Rider Kick at both Giff bodies with split screen, just Mwahh!
Then the six, three humans and three demons, Sankyoudai delivering a Speech at Giff and a Sankyoudai Rider Kick, MOST INCREDIBLE!!
Honestly, could've been a Good actual Finale with a Crossover Epilogue instead of the segway into two epilogues we got.
By that I mean, this wasn't anticlimactic at all. Could've been better slower, taking at least one more episode, but still.
Next Time, Girls Remix!
You just made me want to rewatch all the Hiromi scenes from this arc so that I can simp and swoon over him all over again. This was the arc that got me pumped to write again, and it's all thanks to Kadota Hiromi being the MVP.
HiroDaiji was strong in this arc. Episode 44 had Build/W/OOO level of heated drama between men. Hiromi being 200% romantic on main. "I will devote my life to helping you change" is this season's "Banjou/Sento and I are the Best Match" and "You are my one and only partner". And Hiromi being Daiji/Kagerou's guardian angel shooting down demons from high above to protect him was just.... dreamy...
Sigh, Daiji if you won't have him hand him over, because I need a man like that in my life
Also, Hiromi was just fucking hot as an archer.
Invincible Jeanne was the shit. And Lovekov was bamf. She truly is the best of the inner demons. The only bad thing is that they didn't use the part of her RAPPING when they used Cherry-ish! as an insert theme. That would've been epic.

...
Sigh.
Yes, I get why Daiji says this and how it makes sense for his character. He operates on such extremes now that he legitimately doesn't see any middle ground between complete peace or complete freedom. In fact, he seems to see any shades of grey regarding this issue as naive. That's how committed he is to "order" right now. Everything must be in a neat little box because things have gone to shit to such a degree that he desperately wants the world to be simpler than it really is. (The fact that he sees peace and freedom as opposites and thinks submitting to Giff could be considered "peace" is another issue entirely.) To be blunt, Daiji's been radicalized.
Daiji also doesn't know about everything Akaishi is doing. Daiji didn't see that the freed devils were being used to bring out the Hell Gifterian. He also doesn't know that Akaishi is the source of all the Giff Juniors. He was at ARARAT at the time and helping with the Vistamp mandate. He runs off to fight them when he finds out that they're around! For all Daiji knows Giff is attacking because Weekend won't surrender, and he doesn't want to see people get hurt or killed when there's an option that avoids that.
I get all that, but that doesn't mean it isn't incredibly frustrating to watch. Which I guess is the point.

A Brother's Justice
Ultraman Chronicle D: Marluru is contemplating his upcoming move to Mars, asking Deban about threats Dyna faces on the red planet. Deban talks about the artificial Ultraman, Terranoid, and it's mutation into Zelganoid, then as the Spheres consume the solar system, Dyna faces Neo Gaigard before the Spheres are defeated and Asuka is lost across space-time. Deban is hoping Marluru will at least come visit after dispatching to Mars, and Marluru says he's thinking of recommending Deban to join GUTS-Select.
High School: Yabai Kamen demonstrates his new power on Ex, and winds up accidentally destroying the sword's sheath. As Ex is captured by the others, he desperately grabs the sheath's remains. Mako's mother has a fever, so she decides to wait at home with sending Kireko to class, where Ryouko and Akine note Daisuke hasn't come in either. Akine is tasked to read a passage, seemingly the history of the other sword, used by a Lord (Nobunaga?) to cut down a clumsy servant. Daisuke is say thinking about the fact MAKO ran off when Tanaka approaches him to talk, meanwhile Great 2 makes another unordered delivery to Mako so he can talk to her through the door, Riku relating his own struggles, before Mako rushes off to class. The rest of the Dogengers are at the completed MenPizza stand, Kitaqman making a livestream, when Tanaka arrives with Daisuke and Great 2 with Mako. The Dogengers all awkwardly pretend not to be watching as Mako and Daisuke try to talk, but Kireko ruins the moment when he runs up, having remembered. Before more can be said, Shaberryman arrives with an army of Caramis. Mako joins the Dogengers in fighting, declaring to Daisuke she is a hero. The fight goes well, Kitaqman opts to defeat Shaberryman in verbal combat, until Yabai Kamen arrives, demonstrating his new power by knocking everyone down, then delivering a brutal beat down on MAKO. After the detransformation, Yabai Kamen shoots Kireko. Kireko explains what he remembers, as Yabai Kamen loses control of his power.
Revice: Week End have been getting people who have doubts about ARARAT and taking them in to various shelters, Tasuke makes a brosdcast asking those who want to fight to join them, Ikki and Vice's actions are helping to bring people. Hiromi is helping with the shelters, and has got some former Fenix members on board too, Ikki and and Sakura winder why Daiji isn't working with them when Akaishi is clearly the villain, while Akaishi wants Daiji to do something about the problems Week End are making. At Happy Spa, Genta welcomes Ikki and Vice, and suggests another Hot Springs trip when the fight is done, only for Vice to realise Ikki doesn't remember that trip despite all that happened there. Vail suggests to Daiji they team up, since Daiji has no Akuma and his human has rejected him, but Daiji isn't interested. George arrives at Week End, telling his father to not push himself, as Hikaru notifies Tasuke of a broadcast. In the broadcast, Akaishi condemns Week End as purposely trying to incite Giff's wrath, and airs edited footage to make it look like the organisation is oppressing people into siding with them. A force of Giff Juniors and Hell Giftarians attacks a shelter, as Kimiko and her men are being beaten down Hikaru tries to fight as Over Demons but is also overwhelmed, Tasuke is forced to order an evacuation, Kimiko is left to die, men having to force Hikaru t9 come with them. Hikaru is furious with Tasuke, who reminds him they are not a family, and to put his feelings in place, telling Masumi he should have been even harsher. Sakura, Ikki and Vice go to Hikaru, who has realised he had come to regard the Ushijimas as his family despite it all, and is comforted. George approaches Hiromi, handing him two mass produced Demons Drivers for his men, but Hiromi can't use them given the condition being Demons left him in. George, noting it changes nothing, apologises, Hiromi, cold throughout, repeats his gesture from the last time they spoke, not going through with the punch before leaving. Akaishi gets an increasingly angry Daiji to leave to deal with the problem of Week End. Tamaki is sad over Kimiko, but Hana tells him to stand, they in particular have to see things through to atone. Giff Juniors attack their shelter, lead by Daiji, which shocks them and Sakura who is informed and tells Ikki. Daiji fights his way into the shelter, beating Tasuke and telling the gathered civilians to come to ARARAT where they will be saved by Giff, to the shock of Ikki and Sakura as they arrive. Daiji is more shocked by the civilians refusal to listen to his words, rejecting his lies, until one throws something at him. Angered by the people he is trying to saves refusal to listen, he decides to have the Giff Juniors take the people by force. Revi and Vice jump to protect them, and Daiji, claiming he's the only one who hasn't changed, changes to Holy Live and targets Revi, as Aguilera also tries to fight him, he knocks her away, telling Sakura it's Ikki's fault that people have died, and forcing her to finally fight as Jeanne. Ikki really doesn't want to fight Daiji, but has to help Vice with a Hell Giftarian. Holy Live readies a finisher, Revi stops Jeanne charging, and asks what Daiji thinks he is doing, Holy Live declares he is protecting the world and will eliminate anyone in his way to do so, firing, Vice gets in the way and sends the attack back at him. Ikki and Sakura rush over to Daiji untransformed, only for Daiji to sit up, pull a gun, and cock it.
Donbrothers: the Master tells Haruka and Saruhara that Taro disappearing means they didn't have enough points to bring him back properly, and the two of them are now heavily in the negatives, they will start suffering from it soon. Jiro continues training to be a hero. The Noto discuss tue fact Don Momotaro was able to be revived, Sonoi privately noting he felt joy when he reappeared. Inuzaka visits Tsuyoshi, telling him he saw Natsumi but she didn't seem to recognise him. Tsuyoshi promises to help look, but the only picture Inuzaka has is a purikura with her face hid by filters. Later, Tsuyoshi rampages as GekisouKi, making vehicles disappear, and is fought by OniSister and SaruBrother. Jiro arrives with a rock, but accidentally hits SaruBrother instead. They berate him for his wannabe hero antics, but he declares himself Taro's successor, relating how on a class trip to Tokyo he met Taro, who defeated a gang by letting them try to hit him until they exhausted themselves. Haruka mid beratement loses the use of her her legs, while Saruhara initially seems unaffected but realises he can't recite any haiku. Inuzaka talks to Tsuyoshi about his search over the phone, before Tsuyoshi gets angry again over Miho and rampages, InuBrother sees him first, but leaves him to SaruBrother and OniSister when they arrive, they find Tsuyoshi who then changes back to GekisouKi. As Jiro arrives he sense his true power awakening, as his own glasses, the Ryuukonogeki and his Avatar Gear appear, he changes into Don Doragoku and skillfully fights GekisouKi off. Haruka and Saruhara are forced to accept him as a hero, but not as Taro's replacement, he contemplates executing and replacing them for their failures, Haruka says they will submit if he uses his points to bring back Taro, the Master points out only the companions get points, so Haruka days to just take more from her, not caring for the consequences. Sonoi suddenly speaks to them, telling them Taro is asleep in another dimension and he'll give them one chance to get him, but he'll need to cut down a Hitotsu-ki. Sonoi cuts down GekisouKi, Don Doragoku grabs Kijino, and they both appear in a prison dimension alongside all those the Noto have cut down. Seeing Taro, Don Doragoku tries to steer to him, a confused Kijino awakens and is convinced to change to KijiBrother to steer, they reach Taro and free him, reappearing. After a quick reunion between Taro and Jiro, Kijino becomes GekisouKi, Don Momotaro and Don Doragoku unite to defeat it. Taro retrieves the Carranger Gear, which changes to Avarar Gear in his hand, as Sonoi is glad to be able to fight him again. Saruhara and Haruka arrive, a touched Saruhara manages to recite a haiku, and Taro encourages Haruka to walk, she angrily gets up and runs at him, but accidentally trips and tackle hugs him instead.

So, umm .. Akemi is dead now. It has actually made Daiji really angry.
Also the shadow of Daiji when Daiji was fighting the Giff Juniors made it seem he went berserk. Is it foreshadowing something?
Now that Hiromi is back , will he be a punching bag again? But that role is being filled by Daiji so I don't know...
I hope Hiromi isn't killed again. I hope he sticks around till the end.
Is Holy Live Daiji's final form? Isn't he going to get another upgrade?
I dont really understand why Daiji is acting like that.. just why??

Cobra-chan was a weak demon who could not fight.
Her cute appearance was literally a self-defence mechanism.
It either drew in people to protect her or made her opponents think twice due to how cute she is.
Too bad she had to deal with mindless Giff Juniors, who had no appreciation for cute things.

jeans classmates getting temporarily barricaded in by her henshin makes me wonder if she could crush anybody with it
i definitely think we'll get an episode where like her henshin pushes away and destroys a bunch of giff juniors. they seem to like doing that with henshins these days

Hebi Anon with a little funfact
Look closely at Davy Jones' collection of Mooks
Giff Juniors which are harmlessly extracted from people (that's how the stamp works by the way. Steals people's demons harmlessly. Stamping it on the ground releases them all)
TRUE Gifftarians which are produced straight from Giff
In other words, his entire force requires absolutely zero human deaths (unlike Olteca who sacrifices several people a day to make standard Gifftarians)
Well at least there’s that

INTERVIEW: An Interview with Shawn Simpson, Chicago Bantamweight

Published: September 04, 2018
Shawn Simpson is a Chicago bantamweight (8-0) who will be fighting on the undercard of the October 6, 2018, MatchroomUSA show at the Wintrust Arena, Chicago, Illinois.  The entire card will be available for viewing on the DAZN mobile app.  Shawn was a highly decorated amateur boxer, compiling an impressive 201-20 record, and was a 2012 Olympic alternate, a three-time junior national Golden Gloves champion, four-time National PAL champion, and two time U.S. Championship silver medalist.  Shawn was kind enough to sit down with Frontproof Media at the start of his training camp for his upcoming bout.
FP: I’m here with Chicago bantamweight Shawn Simpson (8-0) ahead of his October 6 MatchroomUSA and DAZN streaming app fight at the Wintrust Arena.  First, congratulations on being part of such a big card.  How did it come about?
SS: My lawyer has a fighter named Anthony Simms and Anthony had just signed with Matchroom.  Because the fight is here in Chicago, my lawyer was able to get in touch with Eddie Hearn and pull some strings and get me on the card.
FP: Was it a difficult process, were you aware of what was going on?
SS: Nah, it was an easy process. Once we learned they were going to have a card here it was hours later they told me I was going to be on the card. It was that easy.
FP: So you’re pretty excited to be part of the card?
SS: Yeah, it’s my first time being part of something like this, it is my first time-fighting at the Wintrust, and I think this is the first boxing card ever at the Wintrust.
FP: Yeah, it is.
SS: I was there a few months ago for a Chicago Sky game (WNBA), and it’s a nice arena, the seats are nice no matter where you’re sitting at.
FP: Better than the UIC Pavilion?  (3 of 8 fights have occurred there.)
SS:  Yeah, much nicer than the Pavilion.  It’s more up to date.
FP:  A few weeks ago there was the first press event with headliners Jarred Miller and Jessie Vargas.  How was it participating in your first media day?
SS: It was nice, it was a great experience.  It was my first time doing a press conference speaking in front of people like that.
FP: Were you nervous?
SS: Nah, not nervous, just first time doing it. The more I do it, the better I’ll be at it.
FP: You were previously promoted by Warriors, are you still with them?
SS: No.
FP: What happened with that?  You had a couple of fights with them.
SS: Yeah, it was a mutual agreement to go our separate ways.  No bad feelings or anything like that.
FP: Are you now promoted by Matchroom or simply on their card?
SS: I’m just on their card for now.  You know, hopefully, after a great performance, I can work with them again.
FP: Have you noticed a difference at all in dealing with different promoters from a fighter’s perspective?
SS: Matchroom is more professional, you know.  They’ve already gotten me, my opponent. They’ve already gotten me my fight contract.  Other promotional companies – they wait until the day of the weigh-in to get me a fight contract.
FP: You don’t want to wait for that stuff.
SS: Yeah (laughing).
FP: So you know who your opponent will be already for October 6?
SS: Yeah, but I don’t remember his name.  I’ve got six weeks to go, and I’m only in the first two weeks of training camp (laughing).  I’m just doing floor work right now, and on Monday I’ll start sparring.  I’ve got five weeks of sparring scheduled, and then the last week I’ll just be working the floor again until the weigh-in.
FP:  You’re not familiar with your opponent, does that affect how you’re going to train?
SS: No.
FP: What’s your training schedule look like?
SS: Working the floor 3 days out of the week, sparring 3 days out of the week, and strength and conditioning on the days I don’t spar, and running in the morning.
FP: How many miles are you running?
SS: It depends on my body.  Some days I may go 5-6 miles, some days I may go 3 miles, other days I may go 4 miles. It all depends on how my body is feeling, especially in the middle of a long 7-8 week training camp.  And you have to know your body; you have to know when to rest it.
FP:  Is your trainer Montell Griffin helping you adjust, saying run three today or run five today?
SS: Yeah, absolutely. He used to box; he’s been through everything – former WBC Champion – so he knows the ins and outs of boxing. So when I’m not feeling right, I talk to him and he gives me ideas or tells me what to do.
FP: Do you stay in shape all the time or get in shape just before a fight?
SS: It’s different.  I stay in shape, but not fighting shape. If I go a long time without fighting, I will be in the gym every day; I never take off the gym, I’m just not sparring.  I only spar if I got a fight coming up. I keep working the floor and avoid unnecessary punishment.  What am I sparring for if I don’t got a date?
FP: What weight do you walk around at?
SS: Well, since I just fought on July 21st, I’ve been walking around at 125.  But if I go a long time without fighting, 4-5 months, I probably get up to 132.
FP: So at 132 you need to get down to 118, what’s that 15 pounds?  No big deal?
SS: (shaking head No)
FP: It’s because you’re young!
SS: (Laughing) – it’s crazy because I can only lose like two pounds a workout no matter what.
FP: Wow, I gotta start doing a boxing working out. I’ve got a gut I got to lose.  What are you doing to lose the weight?
SS: I change my eating habits.  I drink a lot of fluids like Gatorade and stuff like that.  On a diet, I cut that out and stick strictly to water, no juice, none of that. No fried foods, strictly baked chicken with the skin off, fish, salmon.
FP: Any potatoes or carbs, things like that?
SS: What I do for the week – me and my team look at the schedule and how many weeks to the fight and what weight I have to be each Friday.  So each week we have a weight limit and what I try to do is lose more weight that I’m supposed to so that weekend I can have a cheat day and gain the weight back and be cool for when I come back to the gym on Monday.
FP: What’s your cheat food?
SS: It depends, I’ll probably eat a taco or something like that.
FP: Do you have a favorite taco place here in Chicago?
SS:  Oh man, I can’t remember the name right now. It’s really good; it’s on 35th and Halsted, it’s one of Rick Ramos’ restaurants (Ramos is a boxing trainer at Body Shots Boxing Club) – it’s Martinez’s, it’s a like a little grocery store with a restaurant in back.  It’s really good.
FP:  It seems like the grocery stores always have the best tacos in the back, I don’t know what it is.
SS: Yeah, right (laughing)!
FP: So you’re born and raised in Chicago, whereabouts?
SS: Over east, off of Stony Island.  I went to CVS – Chicago Vocational High School.
FP: You’re 24, that means you graduated in 2012. Have you been boxing full-time since?
SS: Man, I’ve been boxing full time since I was eight years old.
FP: How did you get into boxing?
SS: Well, my grandfather boxed in the Army.  Then my uncle boxed in the penitentiary.  He fought Roger Mayweather in the penitentiary and beat him.
FP: No kidding? Have you had a chance to meet Roger Mayweather?
SS: Yeah, I met him.
FP: Did you bring that up?
SS: No, but my father did (laughing).  I’m not a people person like that. If I don’t know you, I won’t say much to you. . . I’ve been to Floyd Mayweather’s house, I’ve met a lot of people.  I used to train with Nate Jones, who worked with Floyd, so that’s how I met him.  And then my older brother used to box.  My father put him in boxing.
FP: You’re the youngest of four?  All boys?
SS: All boys, so you know how that works (laughing).
FP: So it’s sort of in the family bloodline to be fighters?
SS: Yeah, but I’m the only one that actually that took it this far. My brother was actually a really great football player. He got done with boxing; he did football.  He was an all-state running back at Hubbard High School.
FP:  You don’t have a job to supplement your income, boxing is it right now?
SS: Boxing is it.
FP: When your dad and your uncle got you into boxing, were you going through the Chicago Park District or private clubs?
SS: Nah, I wasn’t going through the park district.  I started out at Bessemer Park, but there wasn’t really no kids over there, you know.  So then I went to Stateway at 35th and State. But they tore down all the projects over there, so we went to 47th and Federal and Robert Taylor Park with Jeff Mason and Frank Giff and all them. That’s who I was working with.
FP:  How long have you been with Montell?
SS: Three years in February.
FP: How did you start working together?
SS: When I was 10 or 11, I’d work with Montell before, then I stopped training with him.  Then like three years ago my dad hit him up and asked: “Can you work with him.” We worked together for a little bit in the amateurs.  We’ve been together for all but one of my professional fights.
FP:  Montell is a veteran of 59 professional fights, numerous belts.  What’s he able to bring to your training that’s helping you?
SS: Intelligence.  His boxing knowledge.  He knows the ins and outs. In the corner, his knowledge in the corner in the fights is just perfect; his instructions are right on cue.  There’s a lot of coaches that freeze up, and they forget what they tell you.
FP: Is he helping you navigate the business side of boxing at all?
SS:  I have a whole team for that, my dad
FP: Your dad is your manager?
SS: Something like that. He’s more, my dad. Everything goes through him. I have an advisor named Antonio Gooch that works with Peter Quillin, Kid Chocolate – he’s my advisor.  And my lawyer Kevin Wayne and he does all my deals for me; he makes sure everything is good as far as contracts and things like that. And then I have a cut man from Florida, Joe Pounce that he’s really supportive.  If I’m not in training camp and I want to get away from here, he’ll fly me down to Florida, and I’ll stay with him, and he’ll train me.
FP: Whereabouts in Florida?
SS: St. Petersburg.
FP: Oh, ok, so you’re right near where Keith Thurman is.
SS: Oh yeah,  - I’ve sparred Keith Thurman!
FP: You’ve sparred Keith Thurman? How’d that go?
SS: It went all right. He wasn’t trying to kill me, because I’m little.  But he did hit me with a body shot, and I’m like “man, this dude is strong.”  He didn’t even try to hit me hard, and I felt it.
FP:  (Laughing) How much do you think he weighed when you sparred with him?
SS: I'm not going to say that (laughing). He was up there though.
FP: So you’re a decorated amateur, close to 200 wins, numerous national championships.  You’re about to get into your ninth professional fight.  As a fighter what do you see as the difference between stepping up from the amateurs to the pros?
SS: I don’t know yet. The only thing I can think of . . . The difference is probably the rounds.  You know having the conditioning and the stamina to go 6, 8, 10, 12 rounds. In the amateurs, you’re only fighting three rounds three minutes. That’s nothing, especially when you’re fighting, you know, though fighters, Mexican fighters on top of that who don’t stop coming.
FP:  Your advisor is associated with Peter Quillin, how did you hook up with Peter?
SS: After the Olympic trials in 2011, I came in second, I lost to Ra’sheed Warren, I was his training partner. So we went to the World Championships in Colorado Springs.
FP: You were a junior in high school? Wow, was it tough getting off of school and stuff?
SS: Nah, my dad, I told you my dad took care of everything. He talked to the principal, and then we went and talked to the Alderman, and everything and I got out of school.  I missed a lot of school - traveling. I was 17 years old traveling the world. I went to London for the Olympics, and I went to Germany, Russian, Ukraine, Ireland, Argentina, Puerto Rico, I’ve been everywhere by 17, 18 years old.
FP: What’s the biggest shithole you’ve been to?
SS: Russia (Laughing)! It’s because we were in a part of Russia where it’s cold 24/7, it snows all year long.  Our food was cold, but our drinks were hot.  What we do in our rooms is take our juices and set them outside on the ledge and let them get cold from the outside. Then one day we went to grab our juices from the window, and they had holes from the birds poking at them.  (Laughing).
FP:  So you met Peter Quillin’s team back in 2011-2012?
SS: Yeah, at the training camp for the World Championships. He was a really great guy, a really cool dude.  I kept in touch with him. Actually, I went a whole year without fighting after my pro-debut in 2015, and he actually got me my second pro fight in New York. And he paid for all the expenses as far as my travel, my opponent, my purse, everything.  So that was, you know, a great, great thing.  After that, we’ve just been really close ever since.
FP: He’s had a lot of success on the business side of things. Is he helping you on the business side?
SS:  Not yet, but that’s what we’ve been talking about. Sooner or later we’ll get to that; I will be paying attention, asking questions and things like that.
FP:  You had a year off between your first and second fight, you fought four times in 2017, and you're about to have only your second fight in 2018, why the layoffs?
SS: (Exasperation) Me being a little guy (laughing).  Like I said before, Warriors and me had the mutual release, so that took some time.  At first, I was supposed to have more fights, but Warriors was really busy and couldn’t do anything for me.
FP: So Warriors wasn’t getting you fights?
SS: After the first year, no.  So we all had a mutual agreement.  We plan on working together in the future but as of right now, you know, they had a lot going on. Me being young and still being a prospect in my career, we felt like we had to get going and couldn’t wait anymore because we already took that year off.
FP: I’ve had an opportunity to see you fight live twice. On a lighter side, in one of the fights, you were wearing some black, hairy, trunks, you know what I’m talking about?
SS: (Laughing) Like the gorilla?
FP: Yeah (laughing)– those had to be uncomfortable.  Were those uncomfortable?
SS: (Laughing) Nah, no, they weren’t hot. I try – because I am a small fighter – I try to do - something with my uniform or wear a mask to do something, you know, to promote myself, to be seen a little bit more, do something different.
FP: Do you have anything planned for October 6th yet?
SS:  I don’t know yet. I’ll probably try to think of a mask or something I can come out with.  I think my uniform is going to be pretty basic.  I mean, it isn’t going to be basic or really flamboyant, it’s just gonna be nice (laughing).
FP:  You’re a Chicago fighter, you’ve been here your entire life. How is the Chicago boxing scene? There’s a bunch of guys out of Garfield Park; you’re over here on the east side of town if you want to call it that.  We haven’t had a big professional show here in a while. We’ve had smaller, club shows. But now that Matchroom is coming here, what’s your assessment of boxing here in Chicago?
SS:  I think that Chicago boxing is very underrated.  There’s a lot of great fighters, great talent here.  We just don’t get recognized as much as Ohio, Washington, D.C., California, Texas fighters.  I don’t why, but we have a lot of great fighters.  We have me of course, and Kenneth Simms, and Josh Hernandez/
FP: Josh Hernandez hasn’t fought in over a year, right?
SS: I think he’s fighting next month, September 22 at a Bobby Hitz show.  He’s a great sparring partner for me. He gives me some great work. Great friend too.  We have other fighters, Cristian Williams. People haven’t heard of him yet, but he’s a great professional.  He was a top amateur with me.  He was ranked number 2 once.  We were actually in the same weight class, I was ranked number one, and he was ranked number two.
FP: Both out of Chicago then?
SS: Yeah, we had to fight each other at the nationals, in the championship.  We trained together and were friends.  As far as boxing – he’s like my best friend.  You know you gotta fight each other, you be like “Ah, man.”
FP: How was it having to fight your best friend?
SS: It was tough, but it’s boxing. It’s a business. It’s nothing personal.
FP:  There’s no problem finding sparring partners here in Chicago?
SS: Nah, there’s no problem finding sparring partners.  You’ve even got, well he doesn’t live here anymore Nate Gallimore and Josh Greer, they’re great fighters as well.
FP:  Are you a fan of boxing as well a boxer?  Do you watch it on television?
SS: The big fights.
FP:  Ok, so we got a big one coming up with Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia.  Who do you pick?
SS: I pick Shawn.
FP: Shawn . . . Why do say that?
(Montell Griffen shouted from across the room “Cause he’s big and strong!”)
SS: (Laughing) Shawn is just awkward.  He’s an awkward fighter. He’s one of those guys that no matter how good you are he’s going to be a tough fight for anybody. He’s like just one of those awkward fighters.  I know Shawn. Me and Shawn were roommates before, at the Olympic training center, we were roommates. So I got to know him, and I’m really close to him and his father. I know a lot of people (laughing).
FP:  The other big one is Triple G and Canelo.
SS: I’m going with Canelo.
FP:  How come?
SS: I just like Canelo.  He’s nice. He doesn’t fight like your typical Mexican fighter.  He’s slick, fast, strong. I think this time he’s going to get Triple G. I thought, after watching the first one it could have been a draw. I thought it was draw, and I just watched it last week, and I was like, Triple G won, but you could have given it a draw because Canelo won the first three rounds and the last three - to me.  Triple G won or it was a draw. Canelo didn’t win the first fight.
FP:  Wrapping up, two final questions.  What are your favorite things about boxing and what are your least favorite things about boxing?
SS: My least my favorite?  It’s probably having to wait so long – having a 7-week, 8-week training camp.  I really hate that.  I’m like “can’t the fight just come already?”  When you are training, it is cool for a minute, and then you have to go week after week after week, you just want to go. I just want to fight.  Like right now, I was just putting on my Snapchat “Man, I got eight weeks left until I fight.”  My favorite part is the fighting. That’s what I like. Once you get in ring, that’s where the fun is.
FP: Any last thing you want to say about October 6th?
SS: I hope everyone can come out. I have tickets for sale, you can come up here to Clarence Griffin’s Windy City Boxing Club, 2150 S. Canalport and pick up tickets.  Or, you can hit me up on my Instagram at Shaw_Simpson2, or follow me on Facebook at Shawn Simpson and my fan page which is also Shawn Simpson.  I also have a website which I just launched a few days ago Shawn-Simpson.com, and I also have tickets on sale there.
FP: Ok, so we’re expecting an exciting fight on October 6th.
SS: Yeah, I try to put on a great show every time I get in the ring.
FP: Thank you very much for taking the time to speak with us, and we’ll all see you on October 6th at the Wintrust Arena.

Deban is glad to learn Hanejiro got to meet up with his friends, including Asuka, again, but then notes that Hanejiro was the first Super-GUTS member to learn Dyna's identity while Marluru only learnt Trigger's late, and starts wondering why Ultras don't reveal their identities to their friends. After considering Dyna's battles with Neo-Darambia, Nise-Dyna, and Geomos, but still wonders about it, afterwards. Marluru points out that there's no knowing Ultraman will always be there, GUTS-Select were fighting Kaiju before Trigger appeared and continued after he was gone, and the Ultras don't want their friends to become dependent on them to fight.

They pass by the museum Yabai Kamen and Shaberryman are still trying to force their way into, after several attempts, Ex then arrives and starts fighting Yabai Kamen, Mako's mum cheering on the fight until Shaberryman targets them. Kireko turns into the scabbard for Mako's mum, who manages to produce her own skirt and transform into MAMA. MAMA encourages Ex, who manages to defeat Yabai Kamen. They see Ex off to try and actually meet the Dogengers, and return home, where Mako and Kireko make up and her mother reveals a little too casually that she changed too. By removing his helmet, Shaberryman manages to sneak an old sword and scabbard out of the museum. Ex goes to greet the Dogengers, only to walk into the headquarters of Aku no Himitsu Kessya again, just before Shaberryman arrives. Seeing the sword in Yabai Kamen's hand, Ex wants to get it back, but is held down and made witness to Yabai Kamen's transformation into the Lord of Aku no Himitsu Kessya.
Revice: Hiromi's presence defuses things enough that Daiji simply leaves rather than continuing attacking Ikki. At Happy Spa, Hiromi admits to having faked his amnesia. He managed to get the Skybase evacuated of rehab patients after Tabuchi relayed info to him on Akaishi having stuff moved. He can't fight, but hopes to get Daiji back. George feels all the work on Giffard Rexnhas been wasted, however another source of Giff Cells volunteers himself, Igarishi Genta. Akaishi tells the Hell Giftarian how humanity rejected Giff in every era, and Giff tasked him with awakening him when humanity became too powerful, Akaishi claiming humanities sins far outweigh Giff's. George quits when Masumi intends to go through the procedure on Genta, storming out as Ikki and Buu-san arrive. Genta wants to see this through, accepting after Ikki leaves to face the next attack the estimated 50% survival chance. Ikki convinces George to work with his father. Genta records a last message for his family before surgery begins. Revice, Jeanne, Aguilera and Over Demons fight the hoarde of Giff Juniors and Giftarians. Hiromi tries to convince Daiji, noting how his own justice went out of control after losing his Akuma and fighting as Demons without seeing how it hurt those around him, noting Daiji is the same, Daiji doesn't listen. Masumi collapses in surgery, dropping the treasure George had left by his grave as a boy, as George arrives to assist. Vail attacks Revice. About a 3rd of the way through extraction, Genta starts thrashing about, Vail feels this and reveals Genta might die, Revice disperses him before rushing to his father after realising the true risk. The necessary cells are almost extracted, but Genta won't make it, Ikki arrives and shatters the casing, stopping the process, swearing not to sacrifice anyone for thus, at which point the Giffard Rex Stamp shows it is complete and flies away towards Giff, George hands Ikki a Revice Driver and tells him the stamp needs to be split. The Riders are defeated as Hell Giftarian joins in, Revi and Vice Ptera Genome chase the Giffard Rex ViStamp as it approaches Giff, intercepting it and managing to force it apart, Ikki and Vice each equip a Revice Drive, and become Revi and Vice Giffard Rex. They're able to summon copies to destroy the army, and face the Hell Giftarian, using finishers and the Final Remix to overpower his regeneration, then send an attack back at Giff, who closes his portal. Akaishi tells Daiji this is just humanity guaranteeing their destruction. Genta apologises to his family for risking death, and admits he's been forcing himself to act like Junpei. The family is still a member down though.
Donbrothers: Tsuyoshi, Saruhara and Haruka tell Donbura's Master about Taro vanishing, henis surprised but isn't aware of any way to bring him back. Jin says that Taro is surely dead, and even though his son is gone he can't grieve, but does have news that if Taro disappears, his replacement will appear. 21 years Momotani Jiro fell from the heavens in a peach, a voice inside him always telling him to train to be a hero. Now, the time has come, as he resigns from his job, says goodbye to his girlfriend Rumi, and goodbye to his friends sadly. His friends are sad to see him go, but bothered that he never grew out of his childhood fantasy. Sonoi tries to defeat a Juto unsuccessfully, Sononi and Sonoza point out the futility, but he seems to be having regrets over killing Taro. A participant in a Shogi match stresses out and goes nuts, becoming KousokuKi. Haruka wonders if Taro's death was their fault, but the others are more bothered by the substitute talk, right before they're dragged to face KousokuKi. Sononi tries to attack OniSister from behind, but everyone is surprised when Sonoi blocks the attack. Jiro arrives on the scene, and tries to prepare to join in. Sonoza also arrives as Jiro calls out to his companions, introducing himself as the superhero Fire Dragon, but he just throws rocks, the attack so pitiful Sonoza genuinely laughs and knocks him down, the team gagging him away. Inuzaka spots Sayama and in running, he almost hits Miho, helping her up he recognises her as Natsumi, but she is just confused, he doesn't seem to believe her but then has to keep running from Sayama, Miho collapses. Sonoi feels he was a coward in how he defeated Don Momotaro, but promises it won't happen again. Haruka, Saruhara and Tsuyoshi are all annoyed by Jiro's attitude, Tsuy9shi gets a call about Miho being in hospital, and Haruka has an idea, asking if they can use their points to bring back Taro, the Master is unsure. Miho assures Tsuyoshi she's fine, he intends to get revenge on whoever is responsible. Twokaiser X Gokaiger: While the CrocoDaiOh is docked, Flint shocks her brothers by announcing her marriage to Doetamu, a Tanukitopia jeweller. This naturally shocks Zox, especially when she mentions they've only just met. Riki and Katana thought Flint was more into guys like Captain Marvelous, who they recently met again, he's also not a gadgeteer like Flint, or intelligent, a singer, a Gamer, or able to beat Zox at janken. When Flint begs Zox to accept her feelings he relents, with the traditional brotherly warning. When they're gone though it's clear he's not really happy, when suddenly Marvelous approaches asking if the Tanuki in question is Doetamu, explaining that Ahim also announced her marriage to him, and that Doetamu showed interest in Luka too. He's having him watched, and as Zox is now furious, the twins ask to be bait, dressing as lady pirates but failing to draw him in. Gai arrives, having lost Doetamu, as punishment Marvelous has him act as bait dressed as Luka, which draws Doetamu's attention, who offers a ring identical to Ahim and Flint's, the watching Marvelous and Zox realise this is how the brainwashing works. Gai, pretending to be enamoured, tosses the ring aside, and proposes, getting Doetamu to lead him home. At his home, Ahim, Flint, and two other brainwashed lady pirate wives start beating and demeaning Doetamu, which is what he wants, Gai joins in, while also relating this to Marvelous. A furious Zox changes to Twokaiser and starts fighting his way through Doetamu's security, Marvelous joining as GokaiRed. Doetamu's is distracted hearing the commotion, Gai takes off the disguise and changes as well to GokaiSilver. Doetamu calls his guards and runs, GokaiSilver while fighting pulls the rings off Flint and Ahim, who wake up confused with no memory of the events. GokaiRed and Twokaiser deal with most of the guards, but two elite guards from Kasumi-Mochitopia turn up. Flint furious, chases after Doetamu, Gai goes after her while Ahim changes to GokaiPink to handle the guards and free the other pirates, who after explanations are only too happy to attack Doetamu's men. Flint shoots and physically attacks Doetamu, but he takes no damage and only enjoys it to her annoyance, Gai calls Marvelous, who has Zox give him his powers so he can send them to her, Zox hands over his gear, which changes to the Twokaiser Ranger Key, he puts it into his buckle and Gai retrieves it, handing it to Flint and changing back, attaches the Tsuikai Unit to the GokaiCellular, and hands it to Flint so Zox can encourage her, before she Gokai Changes into Twokaiser. Her attacks now do actual damage, and Ahim joins her, pending her Gokai Sabre, as Marvelous and Zox defeat their opponents, the ladies throw Doetamu out of the building and do a combined Final Wave to defeat him. As they reunite, Ahim admits she was caught because she tried on a jewel she thought Luka would like, Flint thanks her brother for his power, and considers making herself a changer, as the pirates go to raid Doetamu's mansion.
