Just got back from DC today and managed to snag some cool records before leaving!

Normally I don’t buy best-of albums or singles, but I made an exception for the Japan and Sisters of Mercy records on the basis that I straight-up NEVER find any vinyls of Japan or SoM in all the places I’ve scavenged (used or new). I knew I had to take advantage of the opportunity and grab these before I ended up regretting it

I was also on the fence on the Gong Live album due to how expensive it was but knew somehow that I needed it, and Thank Gnome I did <{:-)

So I’ve seen some wild live rock and metal footage, and the modern bands are just shy of being a Cirque du Soleil act in and of themselves. And yet they don’t quite reach the sheer chaos that Marc Bolan and T Rex have in this clip from their performance on the Smothers Brothers(?) like the outfits, the backup singers, the tambourine chaos, the WHIP! Sheer chaos that outdoes even the most firework-laden and heavily choreographed modern concert

how do you think everyone would dress on stage / during interviews / etc in the band au

I will probably add onto this more later, but this is my gut instinct.

Orion dresses sort of like he wants to be Harry Styles but like One Direction Harry Styles with some glitter.

Phoebe would have more of the Maisie Peters look with the platform heels and skirts. She'd also have glitter eyeshadow.

Oliver would dress just in Tshirts and jeans because he's in the back anyway and doesn't really care.

Alisa would wear increasingly funny graphic tshirts.
