here's the ask relating to now i finally know what amazing grace is

the Carlos and Grace friendship fic is one that I've been working on for like a year now but it's just a cute little thing about how just after TK and Carlos adopt, TK is back to work and Carlos is struggling at home with their little one. So, he phones Grace for help but she ends up coming over and helping out in person. They then do some baking while having a heart to heart talk about Carlos' insecurities about being a parent. It's rough but here's a little snippet:

“Hello?” Grace answers, as she rips open the packet of tea and puts it into her mug. On the other end of the phone, there is loud crying and a low voice hushing.

“Grace?” Carlos’ voice comes a beat later, low and exhausted. “Did I wake you?”

“No, you didn’t, Carlos. I’m just making some tea, is everything okay?”

“I - yeah - I mean -” He stutters over his words and Grace waits patiently as he takes a deep breath, almost in defeat and when he speaks again, his voice is slightly deflated. “Not really. He just won’t stop crying, Gracie. I have tried everything and TK is on a shift and -”

Grace smiles sympathetically despite Carlos not being able to see her as he continues to rant over the phone to her. As she listens, she walks to the cupboard, reaching in to grab a to-go mug and pours the tea from her mug into it.

“ - And I just have no idea what to do.”

Grace nods, waiting a moment to make sure Carlos is done before she speaks. “Alright, let me just drop Charlie off next door at Mrs. Thompson’s and I’ll be on my way over.”

“Wait, Grace -”

“Oh you best not argue with me, Carlos Reyes,” She interrupts. “because I will win. So you just hold on and I’ll be right there, okay?”

Another sigh comes through the phone. “Okay.”

I think five would go with the coffee date not just bc he likes coffee but because 1.) easy to ditch for both parties, 2.) he can talk and get to know the person and 3.) coffee says a lot about his potential s/o

i like to think he wouldn’t do movies bc he can’t get to know them as much and then no driving bc five isn’t necessarily the best driver and if something goes wrong he doesn’t want to be stuck in the car… this is for like a first date tho otherwise in an established relationship he’s doing the car trip cause he gets to talk his s/o’s ear off the whole time

and no I don’t. I don’t get around to reading a lot of other works on here but I know there definitely are some good ones!

i’ve always wanted to make an insert with flower powers but i can NEVER think of how flowers or plants would be used in combat, yknow?

it really is!!

i always imagine flower power could grow like rose vines or thorny plants that would hurt and kind of grab their opponent? like summoning vines to restrict hand movements or trap them.

i think it would be cool to summon certain flowers / plants with inhibiting properties! for example, aconitum (aka wolfsbane) paralyzes the cardiac muscles and kills people or like a pollen that can knock people out

idk just some thoughts if you do write it!! p.s if you do I’d love to read it :>

okay im here and here comes an angst prompt (kinda turned to a super short fic?!) that i wanna discuss 😵‍💫

i was listening to atlantis on repeat and i realized five would do anything to be with his s/o but if it compromises the timeline and their safety, he's got no choice. he wouldn't.

s2 timeline, five unexpectedly meets the younger version of his dead commission partner, y/n, in their original timeline which is in the 60s, while looking for his siblings.

five couldn't bring it to himself to not talk to them, and so he approaches them and they fall in love again, this time as normal people, as people who met in some park who wait for each other in a bench just to talk and have coffee before he has to go again, and before they have to go home again.

s2 finale, five holding the briefcase inside sissy's house as he waits for his siblings to get ready to go back.

"no one is insignificant," the words he told viktor rang through his head,

and though he wants to go to the park where y/n is probably still waiting, he clutches the case tighter, because everything seems to go against him. he's too tired to go to them, and he knows whatever he does, the moment he sees their eyes he would crumble apart and would choose to stay behind. which would be harder for them, for his siblings, and for everyone else.

and as for someone who miraculously saved his siblings twice from an apocalypse and the world once, he felt the weakest human being in the universe because although the world isn't ending, his world is.

Ok, but like imagine if Five went and followed Klaus in the final episode? Clearly he's the only one who gave him some kind of validation. Then he spends his life with him and slowly helps Klaus reach sobriety. Then imagine this, some kind of reunion where they all see each other again after five good years or so, and they see Five all grown up (physically) and be like "Holy shit, you've grown"

Like damn, ofc he's grown, it's been years and none of yall were there 😭😭
