Reading all these fics where Inosuke gets sick because he slept without a blanket and having all my knowledge on feral children come rushing back to me as well as what i know about pigs lol (dont get me wrong i love these fics). Like the boy probably cant tell its that cold not to mention he's kept himself alive by himself with nothing for what? 16 years? He probably digs himself a ditch and sleeps warmer than everyone else 😂

Basically Inosuke saying he's not cold/warm and lying about it is actually only like a 50:50 chance because feral children have been recorded to have extreme tolerances to cold and heat. Also he's used to being outside in weather like rain

Anyways now im imagining Tanjiro and Zenitsu huddling in the tent fighting hyperthermia while Inosuke is passed out in his hole on the other side of the fire completely sheltered from the wind with his nice debris blanket. Or Tanjiro gets heatstroke from lugging Nezuko around and Zenitsu is close behind with a wicked sunburn but because Inosuke decided to roll in a muddy puddle and take a nap he's cooler than they are in their stuffy clothes which circulate their own trapped body heat

And raise you: tanjiro climbs into inosuke's bed after waiting for inosuke to be patched up and passes tf out bc he's been awake like 3 days straight. Inosuke wakes up like "where tf am i? I am so hungry" before noticing tanjiro who's full body cuddling inosuke in his sleep and switches to "wtf is this. why does his hair smell so good" and tanjiro wakes up to inosuke holding him back and making the loudest sniffing noises ever with his nose buried in tanjiro's hair. Inosuke says he wants tanjiro to bring him food but also tanjiro is warm so he's tightens his arms around tanjiro and says hes not allowed to leave him but also he's really hungry and tanjiro needs to fix that

Like the hashira think he's no fun and must be lonely only to stumble upon him and Sabito being the life of the party. Or they drop by his place bc they need to ask something and Sabito immediately starts mentioning crazy things about him. Or Giyuu answers a phonecall from Sabito in a modern au and his personality flips

Basically i like to use Sabito as a way for the hashira to get a glimpse into who Giyuu really is
