Jul 17- Sam Witwer (Being Human) as Agent Liberty (Ben Lockwood), the charismatic — and, of course, deeply evil — founder of Children of Liberty, an anti-alien hate group dedicated to establishing humans as the superior race. He conceals his vile nature in the guise of a family man, making it all the more difficult to take him down.
Jul 21- Nicole Maines (Royal Pains) as Nia Nal, the newest addition to the CatCo reporting team. A soulful young transgender woman with a fierce drive to protect others, Nia’s journey this season means fulfilling her destiny as the superhero Dreamer.
April Parker Jones (Jericho) as Colonel Haley, a hardline career military woman who lives and dies by the orders of her commanding officers. Dedicated to her country, she always acts in its best interest — even if it’s not her own.
David Ajala (Dr. Who) as Manchester Black, the type of guy who brings a knife to a gunfight and still walks away the winner. With a dark past, he easily deflects the brutality of his mission with his charm and sense of humor. This is a recurring role.
Jul 27- Rhona Mitra (The Last Ship) as Mercy Graves, an ex-CADMUS agent who has always believed in human exceptionalism. But with both Lex and Lillian in prison, Mercy is stepping out of the Luthor shadow and running her own show. With her biting wit and lethal brawn, Mercy steadily becomes a key figure in National City’s growing “human-first” movement. This is a recurring role.
Robert Baker (Grey’s Anatomy) as Otis Graves, is Mercy’s brother and defacto right hand man. What he lacks in brains, he makes up for with his savant-like abilities to assassinate aliens. This is a recurring role.
Aug 21- Bruce Boxleitner (Babylon 5) as Vice President Baker. Adept and politically minded, VP Baker makes for an unlikely leader, but steps up in a big way when his country needs him most. This is a recurring role.
on Aug 1 it was announced that Brent Spiner (Star Trek: TNG) would play the role; however it was later recast due to family issues that conflicted with production (it is Spiner featured in the picture below)
Aug 24- Anthony Knoechny (Almost Human) will recur, starting with the season premiere, as Agent Jensen, a DEO agent recruited by Alex who struggles to find his footing at the agency. (not pictured below)
Sep 14- Xander Berkeley (Nikita) will guest star as Peter Lockwood, the father of Ben, a family man who’s dedicated his life to providing for people. (not pictured below)
Sep 17- Sarah Smyth (50/50) will recur as Lydia Lockwood, the wife of Ben. (not pictured below)
Tumblr media
 Arrow
Colton Haynes (Roy) has returned as a series regular.
Kirk Acevedo (Dragon) was promoted to a series regular after recurring in season 6. News released Oct 11. (not pictured below)
Jul 21- Holly Elissa (Whistler) as Red Dart, a ruthless and precise killer.
Michael Jonsson (Van Helsing) as Kodiak, a beast of a man with brute force.
Miranda Edwards (The Magicians) as Silencer, a master of stealth.
Sep 21- Katherine McNamara (Shadowhunters) as Maya, a scrappy street fighter and thief from Star City, likened to “Buffy the Superhero Slayer.” Possibly inspired, like Thea, by Mia Dearden/ Speedy. (not pictured below)
Tumblr media
 Legends of Tomorrow
Matt Ryan (Constantine), Jes Macallan (Ava), and Courtney Ford (Nora Darhk) have been promoted to regulars.
Jul 21- Ramona Young (Santa Clarita Diet) as Alaska Yu, a typical twentysomething easily swept up by romantic notions and fantasy novels, and she’s something of an expert in the world of the magical creatures that the Legends encounter in Season 4. In the company of the Legends, she soon learns to get her head out of the clouds to become a kickass superhero.
Tom Wilson (The Informant) as Nate’s father, Hank Heywood. With a lifetime in the military and Department of Defense, Hank is part of a long line of Heywoods to serve the country. Charming and charismatic, he’s left big shoes for Nate to fill — and it doesn’t help that Nate can’t tell him he’s secretly a Legend! This is a recurring role.
Sep 22- Darien Martin (The 100) will recur as a “wolf creature.” (not pictured below)
Tumblr media
 Black Lightning
Jordan Calloway (Khalil/ Painkiller) has been promoted to a regular.
Sep 5- Sofia Vassilieva (Medium) will appear as Looker.
Sep 21- Kearran Giovanni (Major Crimes) will recur as Cutter, a smart, proud, tough and beautiful woman more than able to best a man in combat — a mercenary trained by British intelligence.
Oct 4- Erika Alexander (Get Out) will guest star as Perenna, a therapist with telepathic abilities that works with Jennifer to help her handle her manifesting powers and the complex bundle of emotions they stir up.
Tumblr media
The Crossover: Elseworlds

Sep 14- Cassandra Jean Amell (One Tree Hill) as supervillain Nora Fries.
Sep 20- Jeremy Davies (American Gods) as the nefarious Dr. John Deegan, presumed by many to be based on Doctor Destiny.
Sep 26- LaMonica Garrett (The Last Ship) as The Monitor.

A (Very Rough & Ready) Guide to Alex’s Tattoos
I’ve been putting this off for a LONG time because I like to be meticulous especially with character visuals but with the amount of tattoos Alex has, especially on his expansive canvas of a 6 foot body, trying to find a pictoral example for EVERY bit of ink is... YEAH lmfao.
* As a guiding note, the indicating ‘left’ & ‘right’ etc. is from HIS left and right. All heart designs are typical cartoon shape unless stated as (anatomical).
NECK //
Underneath his ear lobe, on the left side of his neck is a hand holding a needle -- designed to look as if it’s pierced through his skin. At the top of the needle is a red thread which curves semi-loosely around the back of his neck and wraps around a red heart below his right earlobe. This can only be seen if you lift (or pull) up his hair since he never, if rarely ever, ties it back high enough.
LEFT ARM //
FINGERS: Simplified red rose gradually blooming from little to index finger, from bud to full bloom. This is just below the top of his knuckles, below them (closer to his nails) on each finger is a stem with thorns.  HAND: Bull face, directed towards viewer -- lineart with minimal black shading. FOREARM: Basically a flash tattoo / pork-chop sheet mixture (see here & here  -- middle pic). Omitting anything explicitly religious (apart from a cross or two) and culturally appropriative. Includes a range of panthers, snakes, skulls, hummingbird with beak in flower, handcuffs, full figure Betty Boop, inkwell and heart wrapped in barbed wire. All interspersed with Felix the Cat faces and little stars to fill blank spaces. Very clear linework and simple shading, only using bright colours: red, green, blue and yellow. Some of these are done by Alex himself, his first tattoo on his own body being an ouroboros snake.  UPPER ARM: Much of the same as above, except with the addition of a Sailor Jerry style pin-up with blonde hair in a corset and heels. Also a chain band just below his shoulder. SHOULDER: Lucifer from Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights. First tattoo with complex colour-shading, done by his first employer in London who he worked with as apprentice.
RIGHT ARM //
FINGERS: Skeleton anatomy on the full-length of his middle finger and knuckles, the rest of his fingers (near nails) and his thumb are blocked with plain black. HAND: Continues with skeleton anatomy. Entire design is clearly inked style shading (as in nothing that looks anatomically realistic) like this. FOREARM: Contemporary & post-modern designs. Inner forearm is covered with praying mule from And the Ass Saw the Angel book cover. Outer forearm is design pictured on the left here, picture was taken at an exhibition which I have the guide to and artist credit but .. whoever edited it  helpfully didn’t align credit with the picture so I need to manually look up each artist listed to HOPEFULLY find the one who did it.  UPPER ARM / SHOULDER:  Literally cannot describe but is piece by Jef Palumbo. Due to technique being incredibly skilled, I am taking full advantage of fictionality and tattooist with these mad skillz existing in early nineties for Alex’s sake... let him have this ..
CHEST / TORSO //
The largest / most expansive singular piece on his body. His chest and torso are fully covered with a design I lifted off a Jean Paul Gaultier add and tried editing onto his bawdy for promo graphic a while ago -- unlike graphic, the tattoo would still be in the same colour as Gaultier ad, but yellow of skull would be red instead -- less tribal texture and more lined mark-making like the skull featured in me blog background to the left of Alex’s head (I can’t find the pic in my folder..)
BACK //
UPPER BACK: This is where a little imagination is required as I’ll just be listing a bunch of images but they’re all collaged in a cohesive/overlapping way like Duncan X’s back -- pic taken by Liam Sparkes. So;  Saint Sebastian by Myles Karr down Alex’s spine. On the left: text from this photo by Tish Murtha complete with exposed brick effect -- in black and white. On the right: text from this, including a stencilised Pauline Boty rendered in Lichtenstein-ish comic print style, with matching Lichtenstein bright colour scheme. These three images together and with a certain scaling form an arc shape across his upper back, and the thread mentioned earlier on the back of his neck hangs an inch above the Saint Sebastian’s hands. Spaces in between filled by Jemma Jones style flash tattoos. LOWER BACK: I’m getting lazy so again, just imagine in style of Sparkes tattoos summat like this mixed with this on the left and again more flash tattoos imposed between and over blank spaces.
HIPS //
Handprints on each harr harr.
ASS //
🙊 Only his partners know ... unless you attend classes where he poses for life drawing
LEFT LEG //
THIGH (FRONT): Entire leg is surrealist/dadaist themed. Whole front of thigh is coverd by this collage by Otto D’Ambra. THIGH (BACK): Under his butt: Eliott Lane. Under that, another Otto D’Ambra. Around them, these (1, 2) by Caleb Kilby, and top middle illustration by Kathryn Kirk. KNEE: Left eye of Siouxsie Sioux, (right eye on his right knee). I’m imagining these are also embellished around the edges by a circular labyrinth symbol pattern to fit the shape of his knee joint.  SHIN: Fish-head man by Kerry-Anne Richardson, black and white. CALF: Hannah Hoch collage, but in black and white -- rendered much like D’Ambra tattoo on the front of his thigh (semi-realistic pointilism shading for woman’s face, simplified basic outline for images surrounding it). ANKLE: Smoking bunny by Sarah Whitehouse. * Spaces between these main pieces are filled by flash tattoos in style of Liam Sparkes. Entire leg is only black ink.
RIGHT LEG //
THIGH (FRONT): Entire leg mirrors left arm in a mixture of classic tattoo designs/styles with pop-culture & illustrative character leanings. Multi-eyed devil (??) piece by Kerry-Anne Richardson. Full colour. Fishnet leggies by Just Jen on inside of thigh. THIGH (BACK): Skull emerging from chrysanthemum by Ben Shaw, underneath that: crescent moon by Kerry-Anne Richardson. KNEE: Aforementioned Siouxsie Sioux eye in labyrinth. SHIN: Wolf in sheep’s clothing by Iain Sellar.  CALF: THIS!!!!!!!! by Charissa Gregson. He hasn’t got a name yet.. suggestions welcome. Below him, more Iain Sellar stuff. ANKLE: Peachy-keen, piece by Holly Ashby. * Spaces in between main pieces on thigh are filled by Dennis the Menace & Peanuts panel. Out of sheer self-indulgence I’m adding this lady. Every other blank space refers back to Sparkes and Jemma Jones flash tattoos.
He doesn’t have any on his feet because he’s ticklish there..

Hulu New Releases: November 2020
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
All streaming services go through a down period after the excitement of Spooky Season, it’s only natural. Thankfully with its list of new releases for November 2020, Hulu is making the best out of a barren pop culture landscape.
For starters, Hulu is premiering one of its major 2020 reboots this month as Animaniacs arrives on Nov. 20. Yakko, Wakko, Dot, and the rest of the Warner gang are set to return for this long-awaited revival of the animated classic. That’s about it as far as original series go but Hulu is also premiering original movies Greta, about climate activist Greta Thunberg on Nov. 13; and Run, a horror film starring Sarah Paulson, on Nov. 20.
Still, despite all the Animaniacs, Gretas, and Sarah Paulsons, the biggest hits this month might just be on the library content side of things. November 1 sees the arrival of some major TV properties. For starters, racy British teen show Skins will be made available in its entirety on the first of the month. So too will Rick and Morty season 4 arrive on that date. And those hits will be followed by Killing Eve season 3 on Nov. 6.
If there ever were a time to do some serious streaming, it’s November 2020 on Hulu.

Arplis - News: Anatomy of a Great Entryway: 7 Things No One Tells You
An entryway can reveal a lot about someone. Do they toss their keys in a catchall bowl or tuck them away in a drawer? Do they use the front hall as a dumping ground for daily gear or is their coatrack next-level tidy? These are the details that shape our first impressions. There’s more to designing a great entry than topping a console with a few trinkets and a vase. And while there aren’t any hard-and-fast rules, we’ve noticed that all our favorite entryways share a handful of key characteristics. Here are seven things you’ll always find. A High-Contrast Mirror PHOTOGRAPHY BY STEPHEN BUSKEN Bordering on the avant-garde, Ben and Aja Blanc’s signature Half Moon mirror makes an immediate statement. In designer Shannon Wollack’s Los Angeles home, the borderless piece is surrounded by translucent accents, including a pair of elongated sconces and a vintage glass chandelier. Half Moon Mirror by Ben and Aja Blanc, The Future Perfect ($2,400) A Vintage Runner pHOTOGRAPHY BY ANDY RYAN Of all the reasons you should be buying your rugs vintage, it’s for the simple fact that they promise instant character. A bold Turkish option, like the one in this Manhattan apartment, designed by Lori Paranjape, lays a solid foundation for furniture. Given the piece has already proved it can stand the test of time, you won’t have to worry about it taking a beating from shoes or pets. 1900s Antique Persian Karabagh Rug, Chairish ($3,800) Chairish $800 Leaning Art PHOTOGRAPHY BY ANNA HUDSON FOR SOCIETY6 Art instantly makes an entryway feel personal. If you are short on wall space or afraid of losing your security deposit, skip the hardware and casually lean your favorite prints. Holli Zollinger landed on a laid-back, nail-free look for her minimal entry by letting the plaster walls and rad credenza shine. Summer Urban Landscape Print by Alisa Galitsyna, Society6 ($49.99) Breezy Lighting PHOTOGRAPHY BY MARISA VITALE The two best words that can come out of a guest’s mouth the moment they walk through the front door are warm and inviting. George Nelson’s bubble lamp is both of those things. Seemingly made with sun-drenched hallways in mind, his iconic lanterns deliver a sense of lightness that high-traffic spaces often lack. In this restored mid-century home by Natalie Myers of Veneer Designs, the airy fixture provides a point of contrast for the saturated runner and rich woods. Nelson Ball Bubble Pendant, YLighting ($395.00 – $595.00) Round Coat Hooks pHOTOGRAPHY BY DYLAN LARK Never mind curb appeal, Barnaby Lane founder Rae Maxwell’s soulful entryway has serious curve appeal. Whether used to catch jackets or house hats, these knobby accessories will one-up the front-hall closet any day. Punched Metal Hook Large by Julien Renault, Hem ($29) A Cool Stool PHOTO BY MIA BAXTER We have a lot of respect for Consuelo Pierrepont Spitler’s “buy only what you love” ethos, and the designer’s Austin entry is a testament to the power of tossing out the rule book. Blurring the lines between a desk and a vanity, the unconventional arrangement defies all norms by inviting you to pull up a seat and stay a while. Unlike a full-size bench, a short-and-sweet stool can be tucked away beneath a table or pushed to the side when not in use. Calo Stool, Anthropologie ($96) Oversize Branches photo by Colin Price Fussing over a fancy flower arrangement with a short life span isn’t just time-consuming—it can get expensive. Take your greenery game to new heights by committing to a long-term solution. Clara Jung’s tiny pink Victorian home is a shining example of what can happen when you elevate a vignette with a wispy bundle of branches. Faux Dancing Lady Orchid Branch, West Elm ($44) This story was originally published on April 28, 2019. It has been updated.  See more stories like this:  12 Downright Stylish Console Tables at Every Budget Under $50 Entryway Pieces That Make a Great First Impression The Best and Brightest Entryways on Pinterest #Storage #Decor #FrontDoor #Hallway #Stories
