"Sir, we all serve the king but you might serve me tonight as well."
Merry Christmas to my fellow Blowers♥
It´s been over a year now with no crack so here I serve once again.
After all I signed up for lifetime.
having surveyed the entirety* of Boat Media Fanfiction (in which I obviously include Star Trek) I'm pleased to announce that ACAB actually stands for All Captains Are Bottoms
How can Ioan Gruffudd and Paul McGann be so pretty
Okay I already knew Paul McGann could be pretty, Eighth Doctor is one of my fav Doctors but, keep his curly hair and put him in a ponytail, a military uniform, make him snarky but devoutly and intently loyal to his captain
and gosh
And also editing because I don’t feel like making another post but the loyalty that Hornblower inspires in Kennedy and Bush is just so good and god it’s one of many reasons I love naval age of sail stuff
hello!! this blog has been quiet for some time because i ran out of Hornblower shitposts to make! i am now back and planning on posting non-Hornblower things! i’m keeping the old blog because it still holds fond memories for me and hopefully others too. if you followed me for Hornblower content and are not interested in getting a bunch of The Hotel Podcast stuff all over your dashboard, now is your chance to unfollow!
I watched Hornblower yesterday with the auto generated subtitles, and not only were they hilarious, but they inspired some amazing memes! (thanks to @extenebrisadastra and @captain-renate for making me cry laughing with these memes)
Anyway my top three posts on this blog are now the Dubiously 18th/19th Century Royal Navy Sailor Generator (generate sailors to swashbuckle like Captain Aubrey or Hornblower, or to get eaten like in the Terror!), the Master and Commander bedsheet and the shitpost about naval officers standing on masts for no reason
Alas my amateur art about my original character dead ghost British naval sailors got knocked out off the top three but well I will probably keep spamming this blog with very amateur art
But yes! Welcome to my blog, people who have decided to follow me, of which a few have appeared in the last few days due to said shipposting, but also please don’t feel obligated to follow me unless you want to see more shipposting and Age of Sail nonsense mixed in with the numerous media properties that I feel fondness towards, plus my own rambling to myself about my life and my dead boat boy OC blorbos
