so ppl are pissed at Watcher bc theyre leaving Youtube to start an independant (ad-free) streaming service for the price of a patreon subscription, even though they stated it was to allow them to create what they want without the influence of the almighty advertisers and the Youtube's bogus systems??

(oh and they dont have a problem with password sharing if your budget is tight??)

the general take away is that ppl are pissed new content will be behind a paywall.

im sorry people, but art isnt free, and it never will be. its labor and even if we lived in a utopia free of the capitalistic need to put a dollar tag value on everything, it would still have value and cost something.
