More Michael headcanons because YES.

It can and will say ª out loud

Michael spooks birds for some reason. It doesn't understand why but it makes it a little sad.

Is it up to mischief? Always. Kind of. Is your post-it notes block gone? Maybe. Are the two things related? You shall find out. Everyone shall find out :)

We have somewhat established Michael has retained a love for ABBA. But we're missing the untapped potential of DAVID BOWIE AND ELTON JOHN.

Also, Hotel California was put on its playlist by Tim. It doesn't understand the joke as it is not Californian in any way, nor does it want just any random guests. You need a signed invitation >:(

The rare times it sleeps, tiny confetti-like spirals spurt around it. Just, tiny colorful squiggles appear in the air and then pop back into nothingness.

Michael Shelley saw in theaters the Hair musical (not Hairspray. Hair) and now Michael (Distortion) sometimes blurts out some of the songs while giggling.

It cooks! How? Without being allowed to use its hands as tools, of course. Please stop cutting vegetables with just your fingers, baby, I don't think that's really sanitary.

Sometimes it can blink. Like an owl. One eye and then the other. Sometimes it also changes eye colour with some of the blinks.

It doesn't like beanbags. Only it can "swallow" things into itself. Bean bags are competition.

It drinks from juice boxes. Easier to hold.

The archival staff is still not sure whether they can trust Michael. Gerry is the only one who feels comfortable with trusting it. Jon and Martin have their reservations but 98% of the time they're fine with it.

Everyone was so sure its dancing skills would be the generic stiff white boy dancing. But it dances more like that Squidward dance sequence where he just like... Wiggles? Idk how to describe it, sorry.

Helen is the ballroom dance gal but Michael manages to get her excited enough to try the dance too. It's awkward. But she has fun.

Michael Shelley, on the other hand, did not know much dancing and rather tapped onto things for rhythm or nodded and hummed along the music.

The Distortion CAN be influenced by things like alcohol. Funnily enough, its laughter find a way to synch itself into a human-sounding laugh. Everyone is way more disturbed that it laughs that way even without the distorted sound.

Its favourite "fun" food is cake sprinkles. Also frosted animal crackers because the poor animals are most times as fucked up as it, if not worse.

I'm planning to write several of these HCs on a fic and this one is key for the timeline.

Michael started working at the archives at 14 after his mum's passing, but was "officially hired" at 16.

The Lukas' family sort of helped him pay through school and he even got a scholarship, which he turned down as to not leave Gertrude on her own. (Even though only he thought he had to stay, Gertrude didn't).
