He has that cool guy swag on the outside but once you get to know him you realize he's kind of a weirdo (affectionate)

He's very much that guy that the kids dont have to completely worry about social standards around like if you hand him a pile of mud you found he will GLADLY accept it. (ok he might stop you from eating dirt but that's because he got chewed out by Hajime for letting Kokichi eat worms ONE TIME) Also lets be honest, a lot of the Jabberwock kids will probably never get to meet their grandparents. There's a good chance that few if none of the sdr2 cast's family is still alive (With the Nevermind parents MAYBE having a chance of being alive but then again Novaselic could 100% have been completely sent to ruin by Sonia during The Tragedy for the sake of Despair)

He definitely has a complicated relationship with the rest of the sdr2 cast (ESPECIALLY those who had to go through trial 5, Nanami is still a little mad at him (from inside a tamagotchi)) so I kinda feel like it's a little easier for him to connect with the kids because they know him as the cool guy who let them jump off a palm tree once, they dont know him from the time they were all trapped on an island and forced to kill each other. (and yknow they know him post therapy)

If he gets a dog again he is 100% the owner who totally babies his dog. he makes fancy little meals to prioritize a healthy diet, takes them out for walks even in a hurricane (or he tried to until Hajime stopped him when they had to bunker in the hospital, he still took his doggo on a walk around the hospital to make sure they got proper exercise.

xe was veryyy confused about their gender for a long time, and it initially was just experimental. what if he was a girl? what if she was a guy? what if xe was neither?

but eventually, he did his own research and learned what worked.

but coming out was... harder.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE THIS IS BEFORE MICHAEL CAME OUT (or even was sure about his own gender/sexuality.) i do think he had internalized transphobia (that comes with the toxic masculinity of having william of all people for a father (despite william not caring about gender identities much, he held his own sons to a different standard i think, which lead to, of course, internalized transphobia.)

with that out of the way, yes. it was big and scary to evan. it was terrifying even. what was it supposed to say? "hey i dont wanna be a guy anymore."?

he came out first to cassidy and gregory together. which is funnily enough where he discovered gregory was transmasc and suddenly everything made sense (cassidy later figures out shes not cis too ofc)

they talked him through it, and assured him he didnt HAVE to come out to the rest of his family. xe owed them nothing. but to it, this was a step forward in being its own person. she wasnt going to let that chance go.

honestly, it was big and scary and horrifying for evan, but elizabeth was chill, if not a bit confused by the concept.

william did not gaf. he fucking knew his kids were gay. and his lack of care counted as a loss for evan tbh 😭 he got all ready to come out and got hit with the "yeah i know now stop fucking crying over robots bruh"

michael was a different story. first, he was confused, then he was a little,,, hesitant to accept it. this was weird and new, but he was way too old by this point to be harassing evan about something like that. it just ended in an awkward "isnt that whole thing weird/made up/fake/stupid/ect?" that left both of them uncomfortable.

if we follow smth like second best and shitty brother, he'd end up apologizing for that behavior, especially since he himself would probably figure out what that was like.

I hope this isnt trouble but is it ok if i get your opnion on my ocs quirk so i can get ideas for support items for her: catshifting. catshifting is basically shapeshifting but only as a car, theres 2 forms: human and cat. The human one is basically a catgirl with whiskers, giant paws for feet and hands, big sharp teeth, sliggtly glowing eyes that can see better in the dark, etc, (1/???)

shd can change the coat color of the fur and eyes, as long as how the ears and wait look like (i.e. add eartufts, make the tail thinner since its rlly long n fluffy) and change those in a wild cats coat (i.e cheetah ears, tails and paws n gets faster n other characteristics) and her claws cant really cut anything more then soft stuff, maybe wood if she put pressure then theres her cat form: gets drastically smaller like a street cat, again can change the coat, eye colot, tail/ear characteristic etc, her super move is basicly in.her cat form combime different wild cats into one or smth idk its not creative Since this is mostly a quirk used for disguises, shejust acts like a cat on the street, so basically she can change how she looks so the person isnt suspicious (2/???)

the one cooloff which is why i asked for this is, basically that it drains stamina, if its on her basic coatcolor (a calico.coat) and she changed he coat in either form it foesnt drain stamina, save with staying in her original cat species (ragdoll) if it changes the domestic.species (a sphyx for excample) it drains stamina, drains more if its a wild cat (i.e. sand cat, tiger, leopard) and also she gets attracted to cat distractions like lazors, light, boxes etc chances are if you thtow like 3 boxes in a fight she has a hard time of resisting, also has a big craving for fish, if you throw her a cod during a fight just consiter that you won (shes learning to control this better) i hope this makes sense ajsjshdjsk (3/3)

catshifting quirk anon here! I just wanted to add context that the oc in question's dad has a shapeshifting quirk and her mother has a cat quirk, jic it didnt make sense bc shapeshifting and cats arent the most?? Expectable duo ig (plus the fact i love cats and shapes but thats about it)

I think the core idea would work, turning into a cat is pretty tame as far as powers go, but its everything around that power that I have issues with. For starters, the hybrid form shouldn't be something in this Quirk to begin with. That's more fitting for an Animal Mutation or some advanced application of the transformation. I'm also confused on the idea of turning into other felines. Since most felines would share a lot of traits, what possible advantage would there be in turning to one over the other? If they turn into a big cat, they lose out on their stealth ability and they are just going to get demolished by most Quirk users. This is not helped by the drawbacks. The user lose stamina over this seems way too harsh since its not that great of an effect. For that matter, the user losing their human doesn't make any sense either. They are a human in a cat's body, why are they suddenly losing their mind? If anything, losing out on a human body would be enough of a drawback on its own. I would suggest keeping to the main idea of turning into a cat and go from there. Just drop the alternate forms, drop the drawbacks, and work on the core power.

Im not plugged into tumblr as hard as i used to be (there was a time when i was on here for almost the entirety of my free and waking hours), even tho its still important to me to keep the queue going and check up on some friends. So far this has felt ok. This wasnt needed because i suddenly hate u all. my brain just needed some quiet time i think. it gets a bit lonely sometimes though

It’s rainy here now which is extremely weird. Meteorologists have said so. July isnt supposed to feel this way at all. But am not complaining for now because rain has a soothing sound and cools the weather down, and i’m taking the good times wherever i can get them. leaving my window open and the fan on feels like i have the airconditioning on

This is smth most of us experience on an individual scale in our own lives: a complete and excruciating upheaval of our world that throws our ragdoll bodies beyond the point of no return. i can say which days those were for me. but on a larger scale, like as a community or what, i wonder which day we’ll look back upon in the future. As the day before it really all went to hell
