#implying the inhumans are kree for some reason

ok so i know death of the inhumans is sort of. cruel. to basically EVERYONE there. but does anyone else think it specifically treated maximus like, really shitty??
hes the only member of the royal family shown dead, as triton is the only other one that dies, and triton's scenes happen off-screen. he also gets really limited screen time seeing how he "dies" in the FIRST ISSUE, and most of his scenes get immediately overshadowed and/or glossed over
(why is nobody that upset over him and triton? does karnak ever say ANYTHING about triton's death? does gorgon react at all to any deaths? why was there a joke played in the middle of their moment of silence for 15,000 deaths??)
additionally, in this first issue, where he gets,, maybe five pages before being "killed", he gets his arm shot off practically immediately.
Tumblr media
so mark him down as also the only one who loses a limb. which leads me to my next point.
most of his scenes are grossly morbid in comparison to most of the others? gorgon does practically nothing the entire comic and only really fights anyone in the very final scenes, so obviously nothing happens to him. medusa gets stabbed but like,,, immediantly heals? karnak also gets stabbed, but he's also almost immediately better? lockjaw gets captured at the same time as maximus, but i guess they just sort of kept him locked up, because he has no wounds. crystal seems to similarly be more or less fine.
really, most of the bad shit just happens to blackagar, the guy the kree want to kill specifically, and maximus, who i guess is just kind of there for the writer to throw some more gore scenes in whenever he feels like it.
when crystal isn't controlled by vox anymore, even though she's clearly freaked out, she gets immediate comfort from lockjaw and medusa
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and very quickly afterwards, she sees karnak, gorgon, and blackagar, and can easily assess that at least most of her family is safe. lockjaw has this same immediate comfort, as he awakens at the same time and same place. triton didn't have to deal with any of that at all since he was, ya know, exploded,, twice,,?
maximus gets out of vox's control, and is severely injured. he's bleeding, he's just been in a geniune fight, and he got a hammer to the face. looking at his bottom teeth and jaw, something is clearly fucked up there, to the point where im not even sure if thats bone or not. in some panels it seems significantly whiter than the top half of his face.
Tumblr media
the first thing he would have heard is gorgon threatening to kill him! with that mask covering his face, he literally doesn't even know where he is, or who's around him. im not even sure if he realized his family were around him, or that he was coherent enough to even hear gorgon. his dialouge does not suggest he does.
when crystal approaches him, and he hears her voice, he immediately freaks the fuck out, panicking worse than i can recall maximus ever being written before
Tumblr media
he seems geniuenly terrified for her, yelling at her to leave and run away. unlike most of the other characters, who go out quickly, most protecting someone or something, maximus doesn't get that at all.
karnak beats him to death, after maximus is surely convinced he caused crystal to either die or get teleported to a torture chamber. he doesn't get another chance to see his brother, or lockjaw, or any of the rest of his family. he dies painfully, and terrified, with no idea of what he's done or what's happened to any of the people he loves.
under the idea that somehow he survived or was cloned or whatever, he definitely would have died as a vox cyborg in that final scene, just as if not more painfully, forced to once again fight against his brother, who would have killed him there.
maximus gets severely mutilated, tortured, and then beaten to death by one of his family members. in the short few times while he's not under some sort of mind control, he's watching as lockjaw is harmed, and is unable to properly protect crystal, something he's clearly horrorfied over, to the point of trying to convince himself that what he was seeing wasn't real. if he was coherent at all after that blast, the last thing he would have seen is karnak suddenly killing him for,,, no reason, in maximus' eyes. while every other character it seems gets some sort of comfort or closure, maximus doesnt get any of that at all. he doesnt get a single scene with blackagar in the entire comic. he gets one panel with lockjaw.
it seems weirdly targeted, if you ask me. maximus wasn't even written as an antagonist in this series - he's exclusively fighting with his family, and blackagar requesting to speak with him doesn't suggest any animosity. why do all of this to the one character who's spent his entire life feeling neglected, putting him a setting where he subtextually seems happy, and then,,, torture the absolute fuck out of him, specifically?
he's barely even mourned.
#like i have a lot of out the gate complaints#but this is certainly one of the big ones bothering me#plus like. showing ahura and luna are alive but their parents never express concern over then#implying the inhumans are kree for some reason#vox never using maximus' powers. vox having bb and crystal's powers before encountering them in any way#bb's powers kinda flip flopping around in how they work. the fact that his other powers outside the voice is NEVER mentioned or used#crystal NEVER USING HER POWERS. the fact that they only get one guy for help against a mass genocide spree.#ok i have a lot of problems with it#i feel like maximus is never really written to his full potential but like. he was treated horribly.#the death scenes needed to be slowed down and there needed to be more impact on the deaths#it felt like nobody gave two shits about triton or maximus bc the story just moves on way too fast#theres no breathing room at all to digest anything?? its just one killing or torturing after the next??#at least spread them out a bit. maybe have the characters be a tiny bit sad. or talk about it at all.#these were their FAMILY. after all. maybe more than one panel of bolt shedding a single tear??#maximus boltagon#blackagar boltagon#medusalith amaquelin#lockjaw inhumans#gorgon petragon#royal family#inhumans#cw blood#cw death#cw violence#cw bones#cw torture#just u know. every warning i guess. this comic has a lot of. gross.#crystalia amaquelin#karnak mander-azur#triton mander-azur

so i just read death of the inhumans bc of your last post and one thing i started questioning pretty consistently throughout is that im assuming ahura and luna exist and are alive. theyre on that screen of earth inhumans, right? so its really weird to me that medusa, bb, and crystal never mention them? you'd think that if someone was going around slaughtering THOUSANDS of inhumans without mercy, they'd want to go check on their kids?
I had forgotten about the screen, I thought it was just another instance of the writers forgetting that they exist but that panel clearly shows otherwise…
My one possible reasoning was that they could have trusted that the children would be safe since they weren’t on the moon city but the first deaths were all of inhumans who weren’t with any of the big five groups so if anything that would put them at more risk?
(And thinking more about it that wasn’t even a good reasoning anyway. Ahura may not be in the moon city or New Attilan but he is living in one of the biggest inhuman places on Earth (Ennilux) and the last time I saw Luna she did live with Crystal in the moon city)
Tumblr media
They should at least let the children know what was going on, maybe suggest some safe place for them to hide or get some super folk to protect them? If not when the shit started, then at least after learning the Kree had data on them
They may not be parents of the year but this is absurd
Something that really gets me too on this matter is how in the end they’re all like “we’re the only ones left” because that implies the children also died and that wasn’t even important enough to be shown??
(Though seeing as some other Earth inhumans (like Kamala, Daisy and Inferno) are fine then they probably are as well)

Space Lord 2
“So how are my two favorite humans doing?”  Vag’ner clamped his hands down on Quill and Pryde’s shoulders, hopefully derailing their very public argument.  The woman jumped and slipped away from his grasp (he still couldn’t figure out how she kept doing that) while Quill scowled at him.
“We’re the only humans you’ve ever met.”
“Not true!  I happened to meet a Carol Danvers from Earth, traveling with an entire squadron of Skrulls.”
“Two out of three ain’t a-”
“Funny you should mention Captain Danvers.  That’s actually what we were discussing right now,” Kitty interjected.
“Well, why don’t we sit down someplace in private and the two of you could tell me all about it.”  Accepting the reprimand for what it was, the two Terrans let the senior Ravager captain manhandle them into a small room.  Not exactly the most secure location but at least they weren’t arguing in front of an entire bar full of witnesses this time.
Kitty started them off.  “First of all, how do you feel about the Kree?”
One dark eyebrow arched.  “I was part of the team with Stakar Ogord that ravaged the Badoon Brotherhood slave traders 32~” Everyone’s translators made a scratchy noise before picking up again. “40 years ago.  I’ve no fondness of the Kree, as Quill should have told you.  Why?”
“Oh, um,” for some reason Kitty’s face turned reddish.  “I just wanted to make sure you weren’t one.”  He opened his mouth but she outran him.  “You’re blue after all.”
“Quill, you’ve got a long way to go on this one.  Yes, I’m blue.  But first of all, not all Kree are blue-”
“She’s met Yon-Rogg,” stated Quill dryly.
“-and second not all blue races are Kree.”  He nodded at the younger captain.  “Quill’s sponsor, Yondu, is a Centurian and I’m a Bamf.”
Kitty nodded stiffly.  “Okay.  I didn’t know that before.”  She shook her head.  “Anyway, you said you met Danvers, right?”
“Right.”
“Did she tell you about how she got her powers?”
“Something about an exploded Light Speed Engine, powered by the Tesseract.  She didn’t have either of those items on her and couldn’t tell me how to replicate them so I wasn’t very interested.”  Suddenly the connection snapped in his brain.  “Wait, do the Kree have another of those things?”
Quill and Kitty exchanged a glance, and she made a quick whirling gesture with her fingertips.  Quill took up the narrative.  “We don’t think so, at least not yet.  But Kitty’s got a lead from God knows where-”
“I got it from Nick Fury in SHIELD.”
“That statement means nothing to me and Vag’ner.  Anyway, she’s got a lead that Mar-Vell apparently didn’t manage to eliminate all of her fellow researchers before fleeing the Kree.  It’s taken them a lot longer, but it looks like they’re on the verge of recreating the Light Speed Engine.’
While the Bamf contemplated the horror of the Kree gaining yet another superweapon, Kitty spoke again.  “We know this one’s not powered by the Tesseract so it will probably be much weaker than Mar-Vell’s version.”
“But that’s still a lot of power.”
“Exactly.”
“Okay, I can agree that’s bad.  But what were you two arguing about then?”  Then it hit him.  On one side, an empire that covered thousands of planets and had existed for just as many stellar cycles.  On the other, one backward planet who’s dominant species hadn’t even left their solar system and one Ravager clan that had existed for less than a decade. “You need help and don't know who to ask.”
“I’ve already brought in the Nova Corps-”
“Without asking anyone.  And I want to ask the Shi’ar.  They’ve helped Earth, and especially the X-Men before.”
“The Shi’ar is still a violent, military expansive empire.  I’d trust the upper echelons of the Nova Corps way more than I would the Shi’ar.”
“What makes you think the Corps won’t also-”
The blue man dropped his hands to crash upon the table.  His companions stunned into silence, he took command of the conversation.  “Well, you’ve got me now, and I’m sure I can match either of those parties.  Grab the information you have and meet me on the Palatine in one-”  Another scrambling noise from the translators.  “-two hours.”
~~~~~~~
“I’ve been doing a lot of data mining.  Tracking Kree convoys, checking where people have run into security perimeters, blocking out areas of suspected Kree activity.”  Kitty had fumbled a bit with the Palatine’s projector screen at the beginning but got the hang of it quickly enough.  “I knocked off any place that didn’t have the free space for a research lab or lacked the potential resources or supply chain to support one.  I also removed any locations claimed and held by the other galactic powers, like the Shi’Ar or the Inhuman Alliance.”
“Makes sense,” noted Bloody Bess.  “Those entities wouldn’t take kindly to the Kree trying to build a secret base in their territory, they’d already be on high alert to stop anything like that.”  The meeting had been pared down to Vag’ner, Bess, Quill, and Pryde.  Vag’ner’s crew trusted that he’d pass along anything that they needed to know.  Quill, on the other hand, his crew was simply too small, everyone else was either spending time maintaining the ship or out picking up supplies.
“Anyway, I’d narrowed the list down to 30 possible coordinates-”
Quill interjected at this point.  “Which is way too many for my crew to handle.  Fortunately, about half the locations were either official Kree outposts or disputed territory where the Nova Corps patrol.  So I turned over that list to them and they’re checking those places out.”
“So that’s what the two of you were fighting about.”  The Bamf rested his chin on his hands, blocking some of the projector lights on the table.
Pryde shot a glare at her captain.  “Yes.  I think that was premature.  With just a bit more information, I think I could have narrowed the list even further and not had to bring the Nova Corps into this mission until the end.”  Vag’ner made note of the terminology the translator used.  Mission implied that Kitty was working under conflicting loyalties because there’s no way Quill would have considered this a mission.  Adventure maybe.
Shaking his head, Vag’ner continued.  “15 sites are still too many for you to investigate.”
The other captain nodded.  “The other half of the argument.”
Bess was scrolling through the list.  “Hey, this one’s near Contraxia.  And that one’s near Knowhere.  I recognize a few others too.”  She looked up.  “The Nova Corps might not have access to these places, but they’re in Ravager territory.”
“How many?”
A few quick flicks of her hand.  “10.  The rest appear to be in the middle of nowhere, literally nowhere, not the city,  space.”
“Hmm.  The Milano should be able to handle 5 locations by itself.  My crew will check out these 10 or contact other clans in those areas and ask if they’ve seen any unusual Kree activity.”
The female Terran smiled, her eyes widening a little and a slight flush coming to her face.  “Oh, that would be-”
“Wait,” Quill clamped a hand over her shoulder.  “How much is this going to cost us?”
Vag’ner shook his head, dismayed again at how badly Yondu had trained this one.  “We’re Ravagers, Quill.  We don’t betray each other.”
Blue eyes narrowed a bit.  “I was raised as a Ravager, Captain.  Ravagers won’t do anything without payment.”
“What if I said I wanted all the equipment and supplies from the base as my payment?”
“I’d say Ravagers don’t do things on credit either.”
“Fine,” Vag’ner sighed, a touch louder than he would have if he’d been sincere.  “You said you had contacts with the Nova Corps?  There are a few minor . . . charges that I’d like to be pardoned on.”
Both Quill and Pryde did that human thing where half their face seemed to shift upwards while the rest of it stayed in place.  He always found the effect rather charming and was practicing to duplicate it himself.  “Are you seriously telling me there are some felonies you don’t want to receive credit and acclaim on?”  The Terran’s voice was incredibly even.
“Oh, I have no problem accepting blame when I’ve committed the crime.  However, my crew and mys-” Fritzing translator again.  “My clan and I aren’t responsible for these particular atrocities, and in fact, I’m rather offended that people still believe we’re behind them.  It’s one thing to be known as a bold and creative pirate, it’s quite another to be considered an indiscriminate murderer.”
The two Terrans turned to each other.  A bit more silent communication through eyebrow wiggling and Quill turned back to him while Pryde gathered up her data.  “Alright then, give me a list of the charges you want pardons on and any proof you have about your innocence.”
~~~~~~~
Vag’ner wouldn’t say he lives for fighting, but moments like these definitely go in the ‘fond memories’ category.  His crew is mostly concerned with hauling the equipment onto the Palatine but he’s chasing down the last two scientists.  He’s got them cornered when the lights start flashing and a siren starts screaming.  Tapping his communicator, he barks out, “Report!”
Pryde’s breathless voice answers.  “Quill set off the alarms; hit a button he shouldn’t have.  You done with everything?”
“Almost.  Everyone’s off the station and almost back to the ship.  Just got a few loose ends to pick up.”  It’s the work of seconds to exchange one of his swords for his blaster and two quick headshots to dispose of the scientists.  “Where are the two of you?”
“Sub-level . . . 3?” she pants.  A voice in the background.  “Oh, you’re right, 2.  We’re on Sub-level 2.”
He’s at the stairs when he starts encountering them.  Scaly and tunicate and twice as big as he is, clearly something engineered rather than evolved.  He sheathed his second sword and sticks to the blaster.  A quick glance shows that Quill and Pryde are almost there, but Quill’s right arm is hanging useless and he’s favoring his left leg.  Pryde’s just barely keeping the creatures off with Quill’s blaster, but it’s pretty clear she doesn’t really know how to use it.  Vag’ner whistles to attract everything’s attention then starts firing away.  When they reach the foot of the stairs, he grabs both of them and teleports them to the top, not trusting that ‘StarLord’ will be able to manage them in his condition.  They both turn an interesting shade of green but neither of them throws up, moving his respect for the Terrans up a notch.  “You got what you came for?” he asks as they make their way to the Milano.
Pryde shakes her head.  “Not exactly.  We weren’t able to destroy the Engine, so I’m just going to throw the whole station into the sun-”
“The what?”
“The system’s primary star.  This station isn’t in a stable orbit; they wanted to take advantage of solar flares.  Pete and I set the outer thrusters on full blast, If I have the Milano fire on the inner thrusters as well, the whole thing will propel itself straight in.”
Vag’ner hums.  He hadn’t actually seen the Engine while on-board so for all he knew, the thing was integrated throughout the entire thing.  “How long will that take?”
She glanced up at him and he resisted the urge to clean the streak of soot on her cheek.  There’d be time enough to expend the last of his battle-lust later.  “No more than a few hours.  You sticking around to watch?”
“Never trust that someone’s dead unless you’ve seen the body in person.  I guess making sure it really does get incinerated is the station equivalent.”  He looks around.  “You keep a medic pack on this hunk of junk?  I’ll handle Quill’s injuries first and then yours.  Assuming I’m not missing any fatal injuries of yours?”
“Just bumps and bruises.” They reached the gangway of the Milano and Drax sealed the ship even as Rocket started to pull away from the dock.

I saw your theory on if the Shirke were used on Maveth to try to stop Hive, and I'm quite intrigued. We know the black monolith was used by Hydra to try to get him back - I'm assuming (can't really remember) that it must also have been used to put him on Maveth in the first place. So with Maveth, we have something that destroyed an entire planet + monoliths in play. Now in S6, we have the same combination. Also, Izel's world was destroyed and the monoliths taken - maybe the Kree were involved?
Hi @cjs-deppendent
If I’m remembering my Hive Lore correctly the Kree (and possibly some humans) used the Black Monolith to send Hive to Maveth when he got too powerful for them to control.  Meaning it was already on earth and Stolen from Izel....UNLESS there are multiple which seems possible as the first Black one got blown up when they were getting Jemma back the first time and Enoch still had one at the Lighthouse.
A theory I had back in Season 3 as we learned more of Hive’s lore was that the Kree killed two birds with one stone in where they sent Hive.  As they essentially sent a weapon to a planet.  I don’t think they just threw a dagger at a Star Map, I think they sent Hive to one of their enemies.
WillHive said that when he arrived all those thousands of years ago there were nine cities on the planet of an advanced civilization.  He said they had the potential to become something beautiful (which is what Raina described becoming Inhuman to Daisy in the temple) but they warred among themselves and destroyed their planet.
Hive’s Squiddy clubhouse suggested to me that he did get some followers on Maveth and I’d suspected part of the reason the sides were fighting were over who was following Hive and who wasn’t.  Izel’s side using the Shrikes to try to stop him and somehow losing the monoliths in that fight does make sense.
That would also imply simply by sending Hive that the Kree had a hand in their destruction.  And it could be another example of a time where the Chromicons didn’t intervene in time....Maveth or Izel’s World could be why they have that rule in the first place.  Part of me also wonders if Maveth or Izel’s planet was where Enoch was last stationed and he is somehow trying to right that wrong.
If Izel is from Maveth I also feel there is a good Chance whomever Sarge originally was could be as well.  Explaining their connection to each other in either working together or still fighting a thousands years old war.  Or Sarge’s planet was destroyed in Izel’s quest to reclaim the monoliths.

Thoughts about the MCU movie the Eternals
Hi everyone! I'm Lya and I am a huge Marvel fan. I've read a lot of comics and watched every single movie from Marvel, in and outside the MCU. Since it was clear that the Infinity stones will not only appear but have a very important role for the MCU, I wanted to see the Eternals on screen. Why you may be asking? For plenty of reasons that I will develop here. So, while we all wait for Captain Marvel and Avengers Endgame, let's share our thoughts and theories :)
N.B : English is not my native language so I apologize for every mistake. Also, I have not read all the Marvel comics books so it is very possible that I messed up things. If you are a diehard fan of Marvel, or if you have read the comics related to the Eternals, you will already know what I will say in here but you can still read to imagine how things can be added in the MCU :)
First of all, who are the Eternals?
The Eternals are the results of a scientific research. An alien species called the Celestials went on Earth and created the Eternals. Celestials are very ancient and are the most powerful race in the whole Marvel Comics Universe.
So, the Eternals are laboratory's rats. They are powerful, like, they are almost too powerful. They possess cosmic energy and a lot of abilites : they can use cosmic energy to fire things up with their hands or their eyes, they can fly and teleport while carrying people, they are strong, fast and immune to all possible disease. The only way of dying for them is to lose to much of their molecules (but they later gain a machine which reborn them) or to lose the ability to control their molecules. So, basically, they are Eternals.
Now, if Marvel does make a movie about them, how can their origin be told?
Simple. Celestials, a.k.a the aliens who created the Eternals, have already appeared in the MCU. First of all, in Guardians of the Galaxy vol.1, the planet Knowhere is said to be built on the head of a Celestial. Then, in Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2, Peter Quill's father is a Celestial. But, there is a tiny bit of a problem here. Ego says that he is the only one of his kind. But, in Guardians 1, there is a Celestial's corpse : Knowhere. So, here are the two possibilities that I decided to keep.
1 : Celestials are actually very rare and there is only one of them every X years. Why not but this is not very satisfaying.
2 : Celestials banned Ego and made him forget about them. Why would Celestials do such a kind of thing. Well, they know they are the most powerful beings in the universe. And they study others. Ego wanted to conquer the universe but Celestials' motives are not that dramatic. Cince they wanted to study more other races, and especially the Eternals, they casted away Ego. This hypothesis makes it possible to stick to the comics as for the origin of the Eternals.
The Eternals' origin can be explained and integrate the MCU. Let's look at their story.
Eternals lived on Earth. Eternals already had a longer, a very much longer life span than humans. And they already had powers, but not all of the ones I said previously. They had only one birth every 1000 years. They soon divided into two factions. Uranos wanted to conquer others, especially humans since they were living on Earth while Kronos did not wish to meddle with others. There was a civil war and Kronos and his faction won. Uranos and his partners went to space and they lived on Uranus. They got attacked by the Kree who kidnapped one of them, Arlok. The remaining Eternals flee to Titan, one of Saturn's moon.
The faction who stayed on Earth (Kronos' faction) lived in their city called Titanos. Kronos made a lot experiences about cosmic energy which led to two things. One : pretty cool, actually, since Eternals gained all their wonderful powers. But, two : the cosmic energy created an explosion destroying Titanos and killing Kronos. Eternals were powerful but lost their ruler. In order to chose their new leader, Zuras and Mentor, Kronos' sons, created the Uni-Mind, a collective mind for the Eternals. It was decided that Zuras would be the new leader. To avoid another civil war, Mentor chose to join the Eternals who were living in space (a.k.a not on Earth). When he arrived on Titan, he realised everyone was dead. But there was one survivor, Sui-san and they fell in love. They soon populated Titan again, creating the Titans.
Zuras was the new leader or the Eternals (at least those who live on Earth). They created three new cities : Olympia, near the Greek's mythology gods city, Polaria and Oceana.
What can be used in their story?
Pretty much everything, actually. Uranos' faction, the ones who lived in Saturn, got attacked by the Krees and Arlok got kidnapped. By using Arlok as a laboratory rat, the Krees were able to create an enhanced race too : the Inhumans. In the TV series Agents of Shield, Inhumans already made their apparition and the Krees are their creators. Adding the Eternals' story would not be contradicting with that.
So, after the attack, they ran away to Titan, one of Saturn's moons. Mentor came and with Sui-san, repopulated Titan. In the MCU, Titan is Thanos' birth planet. But there is one difficulty : knowing how powerful his distant relatives are, Thanos would have done something to destroy them. Here again, two possibilities.
1 : in the comics, Thanos is directly Mentor's and Sui-san's son. But you can adapt the story so Mentor and Sui-san are actually dead (or no more on Titan) so Thanos is a descendant. In this hypothesis, Titans are not aware of their origins because it was hidden or the heritage was just lost. Considering that Titans are weaker than Eternals, it would be logical to say they have a shorter lifespan and, by with time, the Eternals blood heritage would be lost, which explains why Titan ended because of overpopulation (like Thanos says in Avengers Infinity War).
2 : in the comics, some Eternals join the fight against Thanos. But, in the comics, pretty much a lot of heroes join the fight. So, for the Eternals. In this hypothesis, the Eternals' blood heritage did get lost a lot because a lot of time passed. Titans are not as strong as Eternals but they are aware of their existence. Eternals do not want to meddle with others (because they are very afraid of the Celestials) so when there is a war, even if it is a universe-wide war, they would not intervene thinking "mh, that's nothing compared to the Celestials". But Eternals are not dumb, so they felt that Thanos was too much of a di... Hum, of a bad guy. As a result, they decided to erase their existence from Titans' mind, including Thanos then.
The Uni-Mind can be useful later, when I will explain why a certain Eternal should be the main character. As for Polaria and Oceana, they can be mentionned but in a 2 hours long movie introducing whole new characters, that would be too much informations and the public can be bored.
Which Eternals can be used ?
Well, since we decided to keep their story, Uranos, Kronos, Mentor and Zuras should appear on screen. As for the others, there are not a lot of Eternals to start with, but for me (and as Marvel revealed), Sersi will be the main character (alongside with Ikaris but I prefer to focus on Sersi). Sprite, Makkari and Thena seem useful to create a story around Eternals. But honestly, as I already said, there are not many of them so they can all appear.
Why Sersi?
Because she is badass. No, okay, I will developp.
I am very happy by Marvel's choice for Sersi. Here is her story.
Unlike her people, Sersi wanted to live among humans since her childhood. She developped her transmutation powers. She encoutered Homere who wrote a story about her, Merlin, who she helped build his Kingdom, Captain America during a time travel and Thor.
After a war and a judgement, Zuras died and his daughter, Thena, is the new leader. Most Celestials went to space and Sersi chose to stay.
How can se be integrated in the MCU?
Well, I think in her childhooh, she would use transmutation to go to the human world without her people noticing. Eventually, she would ask to leave Olympia and she would travel. She would chose an island to live in where she offers a home to those in need. It is there that she will meet Homere and they will be good friends.
In here, I think transforming a bit of the Eternals story (mostly their war with Celestials and Deviants) can be nice ; there is a war and Zuras asks her to come back to fight. She declines and in order to force her, he will destroy the island she was living in, killing the humans who were there. Angry against Zuras, and Eternals in general, it will lead her to completely cut herself from her people.
She meets Captain America : if it is added in the movie, as an Easter would be nice. We still don't know the outcome of Avengers Endgame so yeah, an easter egg. She would be walking in the desert where something falls from the sky. That something is a man and the camera will only show the star Steve has on his chest. The camera effect would implies that the man opened his eyes and he sees Sersi. With a smile, she says "you are in the wrong time... and in the wrong universe" (so basically, she met the Captain America from a parallel universe).
Then, she will meet Thor and they would be good friends (well, normally, in the comics, Eternals erased their existence from Thor's memories because they did not want him to get involved with the Celestials). But I prefer to imagine a nice friendship between them and they would do dumb fights like "who killed the most ennemies" and "who can drink the most beer". In the comics, Odin attacks the Eternals so maybe it can be used and Sersi will erase Thor's memories because she doesn't want him to fight him.
After some time, Celestials would come and Zuras will ask his people to fight. He will die and Sersi asks Celestials to spare her people in exchange of her life, in plus of the life of their ruler who just died. Celestials will listen to her and give her a "special treasure" because she picked their interest.
In the modern area, she is living in the US. She helped Nick Fury with some SHIELD business but was never mentioned in any record. Considering her amazing powers, she knows what is going on elsewhere : she knows Thanos is coming. She contacts Thena and asks her to do something ; Sersi thinks that, as distant relatives, Eternals should act and stop Thanos. But Thena refuses and erases Sersi's existence from every non Eternal mind. Since then, Sersi is searched by the Eternals who stayed on Earth. She hides and tries to find ways to block Thanos without getting caught.
Here, it is possible to say that maybe she saved Quicksilver. Pietro died in Avengers Age of Ultron and we can add that she saved him because she thought he would be useful in the fight against Thanos. In the comics, she briefly has a story with him during her time with the Avengers. If it is not to long, it can be added (and mostly if at that time, the X-men rights held by the Fox would fall).
So here, Sersi decides to use the "precious treasure" given by the Celestials. That treasure is actually the seventh Infinity Stone. In the comics, it is said that there was a 7th Infinity Stone but that it was lost. Its power is to be immune to the powers of the other Infinity Stones. And, yes, in the comics, Sersi has it. So, here : Sersi knows what the precious treasure is and wants to use it. Unfortunately, she gets caught by her fellow Eternals. They steal the stone and use it as a barrier to protect themselves. Sersi is imprisoned or her memories are erased ans she is left on Earth.
At this point, or she disappears with the snapp or she survives it (since she is still Eternal and so very very powerful...). But it will be the events in Avengers Endgame so it is difficult to elaborate a theory (since it can be invalidated by the movie). But, I have some ideas for the after Avengers 4.
In the comics, Sprite uses his strong illusions powers to erase Eternals memories. They are not aware of what they are and they just live as simple humans. Sersi works as a party organizer. After Avengers Endgame, Sersi's memories are still gone ; you think it is because of the Eternals. But there, you realize they gave her memories back but they are not. Sprite used his powers to transform all Eternals memories. And here, using Ikaris is great because he is the first one (and I think even the only one) to remember everything and going to research his fellow Eternals and make them remember. Considering that his psychic powers are not very much developped and that the other Eternals cannot use their powers, his quest can be done in another movie.
I think I've said pretty much everything I wanted. Sorry for the long post ><
Ah, in the comics, Sersi has a relationship with Makkari, a fellow Eternal. It can be added too but their love story won't be in the center of the movie x)
It is very messy and, as I said in the description (and in the beginning of this), English is not my mother language. My native language is French :) Let’s share our ideas!

Archive Project - November 19, 2014 - Agents of SHIELD and the Krull
So the big Marvel news today other than the reveal of potential casting for the Jessica Jones and Luke Cage netflix series (link below) is the identity of the strange blue alien corpse that was spotted in the last season of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. Speculation has been running pretty wild since the episode and the vast majority of hardcore Marvel fans at this point had pretty much figured it out.. The alien is……. <DRUMROLL> <daadadadadadaddadadadadadadadadadadaadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadad> A Kree……! Yes yes! Surprising very people the blue alien is the same species as the ONLY other blue alien in the Marvel Universe that has thus far been revealed. Thats not necessarly a bad thing. The Kree are a pretty huge part of Marvel lore and their inclusion has a lot of implications on the near and distant future of the movies. To be perfectly honest I haven't been all that interested in Agents of SHIELD since the big Hydra twist last April. Sure its sporadically fun and i'll probably rematch it on Netflix at some point but it never stayed consistently great or consistently… consistent enough to dedicate every Tuesday night too, especially with ongoing school projects being a reality. Yah I wanna find out about he big Nick Fury twist in the final and i've heard a lot of great stuff about this season in passing but for now it can wait. The news in passing from the show however has been rather consistently fascinating though. It seems that as a whole Agents of SHIELD is being used as the jumping point for full-time introduction of the Inhumans into the Marvel movies. Be it the inclusion of strange alien markings, the mysterious city hologram and the appearance of a Kree himself whose blood has varying affects on the humans, inhumans are almost certainly going to appear soon. I'm sure most are probably asking what Inhumans are? To that, Inhumans are functionally very similar to that of the Mutants from X-Men, albeit with a drastically different origin and status quo. In ancient times, the Kree race came to Earth and performed biological experiments on Humans using Terragen bombs as a means of accelerating human evolution and creating superior breeds of humans. As time went by their descendants maintained their super human abilities and have grown into a hidden society of super heroes living in the hidden city of Attilan.   COMICS…. ARE…. WEIRD!!! There are plenty of reasons why Marvel has decided to include this particularly odd segment of their canon into the movies. The biggest probably to establish a Mutant-like group within the movies that can be used as all purpose fodder for universe building and offbeat character explanations. For example, the inclusion of Quicksilver and the Scarlett Witch in these movies doesn't make much sense given the fact that they are mutants and thus should be X-Men which are owned by FOX. By switching their origin to Inhumans it gives Marvel-Disney the leeway it needs to basically get away with whatever it wants in terms of copyrights battles. It will also be an effective means of establishing characters with superpowers down the line like what it is implied they are doing with Agents of SHIELD. So yah! Thats my extended explanation for the recent events of Marvel..   Aye.. I'm exhausted… Thank you for reading! Live long and prosper! “Are you fucking insane!?” - Parasimmons
Special shoutout to the anon who said I should listen to become the beast. I hated that show but man I love that song and it (and the show, sigh) had a lot to do with this fic. As such, content warning for implied grossness. If you want a more specific warning, a look at what show the song was written for should give you an idea. Man, I write some messed up stuff.
“We’re not sure what happened,” the man at the console says. He is nervous, uncomfortable to be in Hive’s presence. It is understandable.
“Show me,” Hive says, bending over him to better see the screen. It flickers to life on an image of Jemma’s cell, timestamped more than an hour prior. She’s on the floor, curled up in such a way he can easily imagine her moans of agony.
They know this story, have first-hand experience with it. Hive almost feels sympathy for the guard who kneels at her side. But only almost because where Will had fourteen years of isolation to explain his foolishness, the guard has only his own idiocy. He deserves the headache.
But he does not, as it turns out, receive it because after she’s rendered him unconscious and stripped him of his weapons, Jemma makes no move to flee. She examines the blade on the guard’s knife and then, with a stroke so swift it speaks of her knowledge of human anatomy, ends his life. And then she…
Hive tips his head to one side. “What is she doing now?”
He hears the gulp from the man beside him. “The same.” A tap at the keyboard brings up the live feed. The man has to look away.
“And the door is still open,” Hive muses. No one responds, as it’s plain to see on the screen that it is. “I think it’s time I spoke with her.” He sweeps from the room without another word. He had planned on allowing Jemma space to stew for a few days. It would not wear down her defenses - isolation could hardly do that after her months on Maveth - but it would irritate her, perhaps to the point of giving away more than she should when the time came. But now, with this odd development, he has no patience for drawing things out.
It’s so unlike her. Neither Will nor Grant knows what to make of it and Hive himself is at a loss. The only reasonable explanation he can summon up for her behavior is that, after less than thirty-six hours of captivity, she has lost her mind. And as that is highly unlikely - if he couldn’t drive her to madness on Maveth, nothing can - he requires her input.
No one stops him on his way down to the detention level, no one would dare, though he thinks perhaps the guards huddled at the end of her hall consider it. They are all pale and shaken, as well they should be. Hive leaves them in his wake.
Jemma appears just as she did on the security feed: sitting cross-legged beside the dead guard’s corpse, knife held delicately in one hand like a scalpel while she works. He knows that look of concentration she wears. Will saw it for months while she calculated their return journey. Grant saw it adopted over everything from autopsies to sandwich construction.
“Jemma,” he says gently.
Her eyes snap up to meet his. The same blood that pools on the floor and stains the fingers of her free hand has colored her frowning lips. “Oh, it’s you.”
He chuckles and steps forward to kneel on the other side of the corpse while she resumes her work. “Yes, it’s me. You’ve scared everyone else off.”
She makes a noise that is meant to imply she’s too distracted to listen, but they know her better than that. Still, he is content to watch for several moments before asking what he came here to.
“What has happened to you, Jemma?”
This time the noise she makes is most definitely a scoff, and an annoyed one at that. She smiles angrily at him. “The Kree happened to me.”
Rage - sharp as a blade and strong as an ocean current - sweeps over him. But he reminds himself of the heart resting beside his bed, the taste of Kree flesh on his tongue, and the final gasping breath before he allowed it to fall to the ground. It was only one Kree and there are surely still others, but as far as closure goes, it was a decent start.
But if one of them touched Jemma, lover to one host, friend and enemy to another… He should not have made the death so easy.
“You thought you could summon reapers from the edge of the solar system and no one would notice?” she goes on. “More came.” She sits back against the narrow cot and looks over his head at a memory he wishes he could prevent her seeing. “They offered to help.”
“How?” he asks softly.
Her smile is no longer cruel, but neither is it pleasant. “They said they needed a potential Inhuman; Coulson refused.”
“Naturally.” Coulson might be absurdly trusting of aliens, but he isn’t a fool. He would never hand over an innocent to be experimented on.
“But we needed their help, needed to stop you-” the accusation is weak and nothing at all to what she says next- “and they still knew how to make Inhumans from regular human beings, so I offered an alternative.”
The rage swells again. “Are you insane?” he demands, unaware he means to stand until he’s looming over her. “You offered yourself up to those butchers?” Doesn’t she know that she belongs to him? Has been his since the first moment she breathed Maveth’s air? How could she blaspheme against him by returning to the old gods he’s sworn to tear from their high places? How could she condemn herself to that?
“They said they would find a way to stop you,” she says, not in the least impressed by his fury.
He stills. He is not fearful, but he knows it is best to be cautious. This is the same woman who murdered Bakshi, who feigned illness not once but twice to attack her captor. It would be just like her to walk her weapon right into his stronghold. “And did they?”
She considers him for a moment, that genius brain of hers spinning away. “Let’s find out,” she says. Then, faster than he can track, she turns the knife over and slices her arm.
He moves forward, a faint sound escaping him without his consent, but there’s no cause for him to worry. While he watches, the unnaturally slow oozing of her blood slows, then ceases altogether as the wound heals over.
She tips her chin up in what is plainly a challenge. “Sway me.”
He likely shouldn’t. Didn’t she just say the Kree changed her to use against him? But this is Jemma, offering herself to him, and all the common sense in the world is not enough that he can resist.
He reaches out, allows himself to come undone that he might make her a part of his whole. And when it’s finished, when he looks on her as one of his own people, he sees…
“I hate you,” she says with barely any vitriol at all. She smiles. “Guess it worked.”
She is not part of his collective. How is this possible? “I cannot help you,” he says, kneeling at her side this time.
She goes back to work on the corpse, unconcerned that he watches. “They’ve made new terragen crystals. Any Inhuman using them to transition will be immune to your powers.”
He waits until she’s swallowed to point out the flaw in that plan. “There are already many Inhumans who have transitioned with the old crystals. What do the Kree have planned for them?”
She meets his eyes steadily and the hate he sees in them is not at all meant for him. “Why do you think I let your men capture me?”
He smiles. That he cannot sway her is a blow, he will not deny that, but Jemma has willingly come to him, sought out his help. In seeking to defeat him, she has only made herself more his than she ever was. It is a promising development.
