summary: seeing all her friends get together started to make noor crave a relationship. even though there were millions in the world who would kill for a chance to date her, she wanted someone who wanted her for her, noor bauwens, not noor bauwens™.  britt was doing fine on her own. she’d been in too many relationships that drained her and the other people involved. she needed a break and being instagram famous provided more therapeutic than most people would think. she just wished people would stop shipping her with that noor bauwens girl. glorified e-girl if you asked britt.

So, I’ve been wanting to make this post for a few days now and I finally decided that I was just going to go ahead and just make it. While we all have our qualms and frustrations with the content (and lack thereof) that we have gotten from wtfock, I will be forever grateful for this show—for the characters that they have created and fostered and for the friends that I have met along the way. 

To the wtfock fanfiction writers of all ships or non-ships or crack ships—from Sobbe to Zoënne to Jana/Jens to Ingelwens (and those that will write Younes and Yasmina fics!)—and all kinds, thank you. Thank you for putting your heart and your soul into your writing and giving it for us. Thank you to those that mull over every decision and story thread. Thank you to those that throw together a one shot just because. Thank you to the ones that have never posted anything at all or just commented on a fic. You’re all amazing and brilliant and I can’t wait to see the work you do next!

To the wtfock gifmakers and artists, thank you. All of you have your own unique and individual style to whatever you do and it’s so brilliant to see. I love looking at all the amazing gifsets that people create over different seasons and scenes and stories because it just speaks to them. And I love seeing the wonderful artwork that you all can create with your minds and it just feels so right. To those that get hundreds of notes to those that get barely 20. You’re amazing and you’re so talented and you should get thousands of more notes than this little fandom can give. 

To those that just lurk in the tag and joining in on the conversation, thank you as well. Having good old discussions in the tags has been one of my favorite parts of the seasons that I’ve been apart of. From crack theories to simple discussion to screaming about our favorite parts or sliding into each other’s ask boxes or dms, it has been a thrill to get to know every one of you. I’ve made so many friends in this fandom and around the world that I never would’ve made if it hadn’t been for this beautiful, messy show. 

I can’t wait to see what Yasmina’s season brings us as a fandom and as friends who can discuss—or, potentially, rage—about what the ten weeks of her season has in store for us. I can’t wait to see all the beautiful gifsets of Yasmina’s face and people cropping out Kato whenever she pops up. I can’t wait to see all the fanfictions and discussions that will spawn.
