Hiii, Mon!!

Nr. 22 Events you participated in this year

I took part of three events in 2021 - four if I count a project which was wrapping up in 2021.

The first project I was part of was the second volume of the Shikatema zine, Everything I never knew I wanted, with a focus on canon divergent content. I wrote a fic called Under the Scorching Sun, where Rasa was still alive. I got the zine in my hands in May, and it was such a relief to recieve it after ten months of it being at the back of my mind!

In spring of 2021 I applied and got accepted to the @inoshikachozine Beyond a Bond, for which I’ve written a fic about my absolute best kiddos, the 17th gen ISC! This project will also span over a good part of 2022.

Outside physical, high-stake zines, I was part of a more lowkey digital zine called The Naruto Photo Album. I wrote was assigned the Sand Siblings, and because one can pry the Boruto generation out of my cold, dead hands, I wrote two short fics about Shinki and his team, + Gaara and Shinki.

I even participated in an event outside Naruto! For the first time since I officially entered fandom again in 2019, I’m writing a fic for another fandom and ship. I am part of the InuOkko Minibang! InuOkko is the ship between Inumaki Toge and Okkotsu Yuuta from Jujutsu Kaisen. I will release the fic into the wild in February :)

Thank you for the ask! I love being part of events, but because I know my limits, I can’t be part of everything. Three events in a year sounds like a splendid amount for me. Let’s see what events 2022 brings forward to us!
