Which ninjago characters do you ship?

i kinda default to platonic friends in a group like that if i dont have strong opinions on ships, but the stuff undercover at that bar with snake jaguar and rocky dangerbuff did make me think zane and cole were pretty cute, so if i had to pick a ship, probably that one. and i love the idea of qpr zane and pixal too, that is extremely good to me, so the three of them poly in some way is cute but i havent actually thought about it too much.

i dont think theres really any pairings ive seen around tumblr that i hate though, (other than i dont ship lloyd with any of the other ninja bc im pretty sure hes a lot younger, although if im honest i dont remember all the timeline details of the show)

god i hate stupid criticism of things that deserve legitimate criticisms. "rwarb is bad bc it was marketed as enemies to lovers but they werent even enemies and got together really fast" "miraculous ladybug is bad bc its repetitive and the love square hasnt been resolved yet and marinette is too obsessive etc etc" like no these things are bad bc theyre like. racist.

#that was truly the most insane criticism ive seen of rwarb like THATS YOUR BIG ISSUE?? #but also even when people put an issue like that alongside real issues as if theyre equally damning #you see this a lot with steven universe. 'concrete from the art book; how bismuth was handled; also the characters are off-model sometimes!' #and like i ENJOY miraculous btw i think its a fun but flawed show. but im baffled when peoples idea of the 'flaws' are these things #like number 1 the love square never being resolved is the POINT its the FUN of it #number 2 this show airs in a different order in every country of course the plot rarely moves forward every episode HAS to be interchangeabl #and i just dont get peoples hatred of marinette theyre like shes EVIL and a STALKER and this is misogynistic writing #like thats the closest to a valid criticism #its supposed to be fun but i think the writers just do not have a good grasp of when it stops being silly and starts being annoying/ #genuinely weird. bc they are bad writers #r.txt

seeing some backlash to the interchangeablity of elizabeth being referred to as ‘princess’ vs ‘lady’ in BE, but so is mary, i think who is referring/ speaking to them when they’re addressed is supposed to be significant (jane grey calls her ‘lady elizabeth’, for instance), but like... they are both king’s daughters by marriages, despite those marriages being dissolved, and i do actually find it plausible more so than in tudors when henry viii was alive. i don’t know of anything in the archives that refers to elizabeth as ‘princess’ during this time, off the cuff, but anne boleyn in english archives and by other international commentators was referred to as ‘queen anne’ posthumously, catherine of aragon was referred to as queen catherine by (obviously) imperial sources posthumously and also international commentators. tl; dr i don’t find it that crazy.

Je crois que Sevitus/Severitus (utilisés interchangeablement par bcp) veut dire la même chose que Severus is Harry's parent par contre 🤔 (du moins d'après https://fanlore.org/wiki/Severitus_(trope) https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/Severitus ?) J'ai l'impression que ça de réfère toujours principalement à l'idée qu'il est véritablement son père, même si quelques uns l'utilisent pour parler d'une relation paternelle plus vague. Pour moins d'ambiguïté, peut-être que Severus Becomes Harry's Parent marcherait mieux du coup ? (Même si dans tous les cas je suppose que la plupart des lecteurs ao3 viendront se ffnet et sauront déjà que ce n'est pas une histoire de Sev comme père biologique)

à l'époque, Severitus c'était Snape est le père biologique d'Harry (ça vient du nom de l'autrice qui a écrit A Father's Sin si je ne me trompe pas, qui est une des fics les plus emblématiques du genre) et Sevitus c'était pour désigner toutes les histoires où Severus soit adoptait Harry soit était son mentor. Mais j'avoue que récemment j'ai vu que ça s'utilisait un peu de manière interchangeable.

De toute manière il ne l'adopte vraiment que dans LDS donc j'utiliserai ton idée de tag sur celui là. je m'attends pas à avoir de nouveaux lecteurs, je jette les cicatrices et l'armée là au cas où du coup je suppose que les gens connaîtront déjà.
