Does anyone take the wiki (wikia?) for Inuyasha seriously? Specifically "inuyashacouples" wikia? Because I just stumbled upon it and it has a S/ssR/n section. And of course given that R/n has been a child for 99.9% of Inuyasha's existence, fucking damn near *ALL* of the BS was about her "relationship" with Sessh while she was a child!

back when ep 15 dropped there was this mad dash to edit the wiki(s) and “officially” make rin sessh’s wife. not even just the mother of the twins, oh no, like full blown wifey type shit. and her age was edited almost immediately (which ppl caught just as quickly lmao) bc that shit was obviously problematic given her age and how old she was before hny. considering that every edit to that wiki is some form of echo chamber damage control, i don’t think anyone should bother to take it seriously.

Tsukuyomaru and Shizu Are the Best

I revisited Shiori’s brief arc in InuYasha since she is coming back in Yashahime, and Tsukuyomaru and Shizu are two of the best parents in InuYasha! I mean Tsukuyomaru genuinely loved his wife and daughter; so much so that he died protecting them. And Shizu fought and fought to protect Shiori from her horrid grandfather and the humans who hurt them. Honestly one of my favorite arcs in the show!

Hoshiyomi and Tsukiyomi

The Power Couple

Though their arc was brief, it was a good one nonetheless. Tsukiyomi was a female samurai! How badass is that? For her alone I wish the arc had been longer. Hoshiyomi was a daiyokai, and gave up his whole heart to Tsukiyomi. They fought well together, and made an epic power couple. Hoshiyomi’s grab for power to keep Tsukiyomi safe ultimately led to her trying to save him from corruption, which resulted in her death. This lead to a misunderstanding that caused Hoshiyomi to despise humans and feel betrayed. When he realizes later she only meant to protect him, it was bittersweet. They reunited in the afterlife, and finally found peace.
