Hey!

I just got into AMC's Interview with the Vampire and while I have a few threads going, I wanted to put out an ad for a texting-based 20+ Loustat partner!

I'd like to try my hand at Lestat but am not against writing as Louis.

We can do paras to expand our plots but primarily I'm searching for texting threads. I'm down to do multiple at the same time if we want!

I'd like these to be more slice of life, fluffy, modern style. They can be au or take place after canon in the modern day. I'm up for whatever! Angst and toxicity work, too, especially as it comes natural to them. Same for NSFW. I'm just looking for something easy to rp in between para threads!

Hey sooo guess who made an 18+ IWTV role play server 👉🏾🤡

The server is for both book and show fans to congregate and hangout together and it’s lgbtqia+ friendly! OCs are allowed, as well as nsfw rp and I even need some people to rp as canon characters if y’all are up for that challenge 😏. All I ask is that you leave drama, bigotry and hate at the door and be over the age of 18. The server is still new and everything is up and ready to go but I’m still adding in new features and channels to spruce things up and bit to make it comfortable and enjoyable for everyone so please be patient!

𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 : i studied communication and i suck at it. DMs are hard for me so i'm always dropping discord on my dashboard and i encourage that to talk. as well, interaction wise, asks are always the preferred way.

𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 / 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒? : i began writing around 2008/2009. so just know old. my biggest activity shift began 2011 when i began rping klaus mikaleson but i was rping on occasional before.

𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐒? : depends. i do like describing a lot and it takes a lot of space but i don't mind the length.

𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐑 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐒? : both but i do prefer memes. honestly, for real, just send me something, turn it into a thread and then we can semi plot. i think plotting too much can restrict writing and organic writing, specially in roleplay form. i had bad experiences with plotting in which someone blocked me after i offered a plot so now i'm doubting my ideas for plots are good.

𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐖𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄? : in my timezone it would be at late midday or night. that's when most people are up and my brain too.

𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 : honestly? when i joined the cobra kai rp fandom back in 2021. i hesitated to watch the show due to my nonno's love for the original movie but once i joined, i was in. i joined with my wifey @dcviline and we been joined ever since. the next best experience would be now on the iwtv or tvd fandoms.

𝐑𝐏 𝐏𝐄𝐓 𝐏𝐄𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐒 : honestly? i added the whole softblocking rule because everyone does it but i feel like people these days just don't communicate. if i posted something you didn't like, reach out and tell me, or tell me to tag it. there is a filtering option for a reason. i feel these days people just prefer to block or softblock instead of just telling someone. communication isn't there.

𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐒𝐓, 𝐅𝐋𝐔𝐅𝐅 𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐌𝐔𝐓? : all of it. i do love angst but i miss writing smut because i use it as character study.

𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐒? : i would be worried if i was like any of them. i think i might be a bit like jaime in the way that i keep my secrets close to my chest, taking what people call me and move on. i'm very empathic, that i feel that i can relate to any of these in one level or another, plus, they are great character studies. great characters don't equal good people but there is value in exploring those darker parts of your mind in a safe environment like roleplaying.

hey fox! i hope you don't mind me coming to you for some opinions, i'm just very stuck and trust your judgement <3 i'm looking to make an rpg, but i'm unsure what plot idea to go for. i know both of my ideas are kind of " outdated " in terms of the tumblr rpc, but i kinda want some nostalgia with a fresh twist, so here are my thoughts basically lol. i'm juggling between a crossover group with a bunch of supernatural based fandoms ( especially ones that are more obscure / underused in the rpc, like flanagan verse shows iwtv, etc. ) that starts at the beginning of all the fandoms involved and just completely rewrites canon. obvi this has been done before but i'd like to do something new with it? i just don't know what. my other idea is similar in that it would be a crossover rp of supernatural fandoms ( probably more popular ones like tvd and tw ) but a next gen group. again, not original but i wanted to focus on actually aging everyone up like most groups of this kind fail to do, playing these nostalgic characters in their late 30s - early 40s as their kids sort of take on the roles they once held. i guess what i'm asking is do you think either of these ideas would work, and if so which option do you think the rpc would gravitate to more? i apologize for the long winded message and no need to answer if you're not interested! thank you for your time, i appreciate you!

thank you for coming to me with this, anon ! personally if i were to join something it would be the first one, with the more obscure fandoms. the tvd / tw stuff is pretty overdone imo ? and while having the older muses + their kids is super interesting, i think it would only work if it was a small-sized group, if that makes sense ? it could get messy if there's a lot of people joining left and right. like, with multi-fandom rps we usually see a lot of miscasting and whitewashing and whatnot, so i feel like it has a big potential for that happening. if it was my group i might make it skeleton ? in either of those options. idk if people still join those, but i feel like it would be a big differential from others i've seen before, and it gives you a better control over which fcs people are going for. an added bonus is that it helps balance out the fandoms ? like, if it's a free for all even if you specify the preference for more obscure fandoms you'll 100% end up with half of the rp being part of tvd or something obnoxious like that.
