Summary:Jooyeon accidentally left the flash drive he needed for a class presentation with you. Naturally you went to his class to return it for him, which somehow ended up with dating rumors about you two. (non-idol au)

It was your off day. You didn’t have any classes to attend to, so you were gonna use your free day to relax, study and get your laundry done. You grabbed your laundry basket and headed to your small utility room in your apartment. You began to load the laundry machine. When you pulled out one of your sweats from the basket you noticed that there was something in one of the pockets. You reached your hand into the pocket and pulled out a flash drive. A wave of confusion washed over you. Why did you have a flash drive in your pocket? You hadn’t used any flash drives recently. Then it hit you. This was Jooyeon’s flash drive. He asked you to hold onto it yesterday because he was paranoid about losing it while you guys went out to dinner after finishing your classes for the day. The flash drive had his presentation on it for one of his classes. That’s when another hit of realization hits you. This flash drive has his presentation on it that he was supposed to present today! You quickly threw on a pair of shoes and practically went flying out the door of your apartment. 

Meanwhile Jooyeon has just gone through his bag for the third time. Panic started to settle in. Did he really lose the flash drive that he needed for a really important presentation? A presentation that makes up most of his grade. 

“Dude, what are you looking so frantically for?” One of Jooyeon’s group partners asks. 

“Just something,” Jooyeon answers while rummaging through his bag, yet again. 

“Wait, don't tell me you lost the flash drive,” Jooyeon’s other partner says. 

“I swear I put it in my bag,” Jooyeon defended. 

“What are we gonna do? You know how important this presentation is.”

“Looking for this?” You appeared behind Jooyeon. Holding the flash drive out, dangling it in front of his face. Jooyeon lets out a breath of relief, letting you drop the flash drive into his palm. 

“You're a lifesaver. Why do you have it though?” Jooyeon asked, turning around to face you. Now he is able to take in your appearance. Hair messily pulled back and you're wearing your lounge clothes that you usually only wear at home. He notices that your breathing is a bit labored too. Did you run here?

“You asked me to hold onto it last night. Then forgot to take it back,” you tell him. 

“Ah that’s right. When we had dinner,” he said, now remembering that he didn’t put it in his bag. 

“Yep, you’re lucky I found it before I washed it with my laundry. Anyway I’m sure you guys want to go over your presentation before presenting, so I’ll leave now. See you after class” you tell Jooyeon. 

“See you. Thanks for running this to me.” He held up the flash drive.

“Sure thing. Do well.” You gave him two light punches on his shoulder. With that you took your leave.

“Jooyeon!” a dude a couple rows back called out. Jooyeon turns around to look at the guy. 

“Yeah?” he asked. 

“Was that your girlfriend?” he questioned. 

“Why?” Jooyeon feared that he knew what was coming. 

“If she isn't I was going to ask if you could give me her number.” There it is. Exactly what Jooyeon feared. Because technically no, you weren’t his girlfriend. However he was planning on confessing to you. He still doesn’t exactly know when yet, but he is going to confess to you. He could do it sometime next week, next month, next year, sometime in the next ten years, but he was going to do it. Jooyeon definitely doesn't want anyone else trying to take you from him, so he lies. 

“She’s my girlfriend.” He only feels a little bad about lying. He does plan on making you his girlfriend, so it won’t be a lie forever. 

“You’re lucky,” the guy says. 

“I know,” Jooyeon replied cheekily and turned back around.

“Y/n I didn’t know you were dating Jooyeon.” Your friend stated upon taking their seat next to you. 

“Who spread that rumor?” you laughed. “Jooyeon and I are only friends,” you informed. 

“Really? How come people are talking about Jooyeon’s pretty girlfriend who dropped off his flash drive yesterday then?” 

“I don’t know. I mean I did drop off his flash drive, but I did it as a good friend,” you say. You wouldn’t have minded dropping it off as his girlfriend though. Truth be told, you thought about what it would be like to be in a relationship with Jooyeon more than you should. Then again how could you not think about dating Jooyeon. He would walk you back to your apartment whenever it was late. He buys your favorite snacks. Even if you’re too busy to actually see each other he always texts you. He leaves little doodles in your notebooks for you to discover later. He insists that it wasn’t him, but who else would have left the exact plushie you were talking about wanting on your desk. 

“I guess people just misunderstood then,” your friend said. 

“Yeah, I guess.” You wish it wasn’t a misunderstanding though. 

After classes you headed across campus to go meet Jooyeon. You took a seat on one of the cement around a big planter. 

“Are you waiting for Jooyeon?” a random guy asked you.

“Uh, yeah,” you answered a bit awkwardly. 

“I was a bit sad when Jooyeon said you were his girlfriend. I wanted to hit on you,” he disclosed. Wait, it was Jooyeon who spread the rumor about you two dating. That must mean that he likes you too. Why else would he spread such a rumor?

“Oh, sorry to disappoint,” you joked. 

“All good. It makes sense that you’re taken. He better treat you right though.” 

“Y/n!” Jooyeon calls for you. 

“He does,” you answered. You got up to go meet Jooyeon. Who was feeling uneasy because he saw the guy talking to you was the same guy who wanted your number yesterday. 

“You ready to go?” you checked. 

“Yeah, but uh what were you two talking about?” Jooyeon had to ask. He has to know if that guy was hitting on you despite knowing that you were his “girlfriend”.

“He said he felt sad when you told him I was your girlfriend because he wanted to hit on me.” You gave Jooyeon a look. “Care to explain?” Jooyeon knew he was screwed. 

“No.” Jooyeon began to quickly walk away. 

“Jooyeon wait!” You caught up to him and grabbed his hand. “I’m not mad, but I do think we should talk,” you say. Jooyeon could only feel partially relieved. He was glad that you weren’t mad. He was still nervous about talking to you about it though.

“Ok,” Jooyeon responded. He let you drag him somewhere where there weren't many people around. 

“Why did you say I was your girlfriend? You know we aren’t together,” you questioned. 

“I know. I’m sorry, but that guy said if you weren’t my girlfriend then he wanted your number. I couldn’t give it to him though. I know you aren’t my girlfriend, but I was planning on confessing, so I didn't think it would do any harm if I lied a little bit. I was gonna ask you to be my girlfriend in the future. I know it was probably not the right thing to do, but I didn’t want anyone else to steal you from me,” Jooyeon rambled out, long winded. 

“Jooyeon.”

“Yeah?” He can barely hold eye contact with you. 

“You’re lucky I like you,” you stated. 

“Like- like me?” Jooyeon’s heart races. “So you’ll be my girlfriend then?” he questions.

“Yes I’ll be your girlfriend,” you smiled. Jooyeon pulls you into a loving embrace. 

“Thank you. You saved me again. It would have been so embarrassing if I had to tell them you weren’t actually my girlfriend,” Jooyeon says from over your shoulder.

“Yeah what would you do without me,” you joked. Jooyeon laughs and pulls away from the hug. 

“Come on. Let’s go on a date.” He laces your hand with his. The two of you happily walk off campus together.

mid sentence you lean in and place a kiss on his lips

he’s stunned for several moments, not having expected a kiss at all

you do try to apologize but he just keeps complaining, his frustration only growing

and so you decide to kiss him in order to make him stop

he’s surprised when you briefly press your lips against his, and when you can see that he’s still upset, you give him another kiss

kissing him properly this time, you can finally feel him relax against you

you can immediately see regret in his eyes as he opens them to look at you

“I’m better now… sorry for taking it out on you. I shouldn’t have done that.”

he apologizes with his head hanging low, unable to even look at you now

however, you simply offer him a hug, telling him that you understand

you’re having kind of a play fight that’s getting way too competitive

at this point you’re not even sure what you’re arguing about anymore, you just know it was something utterly insignificant

getting kind of tired of it now while Jiseok just gets more and more into it, you decide to put an end to it at once

so you lean in and before he can realize what’s happening, your lips are already pressed against his

blinks a few times and looks at you with raised eyebrows after you pull back, trying to understand what just happened

is definitely blushing and stutters on for a while, before he pulls himself together

then you just see him smiling mischievously as he continues talking, and you just know he’s up to something

just when you sigh and want to walk away, he grabs your hand, suddenly seeming sulky

“I thought you’d keep kissing me if I continued rambling!”

you let out a huge sigh at his logic, but can’t help the smile creeping onto your lips because of his innocence

you attempt to argue back, but now it’s you who doesn’t know what to say

so you simply give in and fulfill his wish, because who are you to say no to an invitation for more kisses from your boyfriend?

so you realize you have to do something else if you want to help him

you simply lean in and kiss him softly, trying to convey to him how much you care

he immediately kisses you back, as if he was thankful that you shut him up

after kissing him for a while, he seems to have calmed down a bit and his frown disappears as you pull back

you suggest doing something fun instead, but he’s quick to snake his arms around you, pulling you close

and so you simply smile at him, cupping his face in your hands

that’s until suddenly, you get an idea

without thinking about the consequences, you lean in, pressing a lingering kiss to his lips mid-sentence

he’s completely stunned when you pull back, taking some time to recollect himself before complaining

“I was talking!! You didn’t have to-” - his voice goes higher and higher until eventually words fail him and his ears are beet red

whines at you now as he can’t handle the embarrassment - and he’s also a tiny bit frustrated that you interrupted him

so you take his silence as an opportunity to simply kiss him again

and he does kiss you back, but once you give him an opening he will just whine again

in the end he makes you assure him that you were just messing with him and didn’t get bored of his explanations

you give him a few more kisses as an apology

Jooyeon:

it started as a normal conversation that somehow took a detour in his head

and now you have no idea what he’s talking about anymore

you just know he’s excited and trying his best to get his point across

and somehow that’s just very endearing to you

not to say you’re getting a little carried away by his smile and childlike excitement reflecting in his eyes

but you are getting carried away by exactly that jdhdndn

and before you know it, you find yourself leaning in to press a soft kiss to his lips, shutting him up in the process

he blinks at you once, and then twice, gaping because he did not see that coming and you have successfully interrupted his train of thought

has no idea what he was talking about anymore and then suddenly gets very quiet

“Sorry, I got a little too carried away there…”

awkwardly scratches the back of his head as you assure him that you don’t mind, he was just too cute and you couldn’t help yourself

he absolutely lights up at you calling him cute and then demands more kisses while pouting

CUDDLE TIME - JOOYEON

♬ Jooyeon x gn reader ♬ fluff ♬ 604 words ♬ Prompt: waking up your sleepy boyfriend

You’re not surprised to find your boyfriend still fast asleep in his bed when you arrive. This is exactly the reason why you’re here an hour earlier than the date is supposed to start. It’s not overly early per se, but 10am counts early for Jooyeon so you came prepared to wake him up and make him get ready so you can leave on time.

Waking him up is not an easy task but you like to think you have some experience in it already. You start simply by shaking his shoulder and calling his name; it’s nothing special, the key is to not let him go back to sleep immediately.

Jooyeon whines and instinctively grabs onto his blanket, which you know he does because his friends usually wake him up in more forceful ways than you.

“It’s time to wake up, baby,” you tell him, shaking him again. You know he’s already conscious enough to hear your voice, and that after he realizes that it’s you, he will start focusing his attention on what you’re saying.

“...too early…” he mumbles into his pillow, and this is the moment when you have to not let him fall back asleep. 

So you poke his cheek with a finger and add, “We’re going to be late if you don’t get up soon.”

He tries to get rid of your finger by burying his face further into the pillow but it’s futile. You keep poking his cheek and because you know all about his weak spots, you poke his sides too.

This goes on until Jooyeon finally opens his eyes and looks at you pouting. “You’re so mean, not even a good morning kiss.”

“You can get a good morning kiss when you wake up.”

“I’m awake now,” he says and blinks up at you but makes no move to even sit up in his bed, clearly indicating that you should lean down to kiss him.

At this point, you should realize that he's plotting something but he has such an innocent and expectant look in his eyes that you don’t think much about it. You lean down and press your lips to his.

It’s meant to be a quick peck but the next moment, you feel a hand grabbing your arm and you fall right on top of Jooyeon. You don’t even have the time to realize what just happened before he turns the two of you to your sides, traps you between his arms and his legs then cackles, “Cuddle time!”

“No, no, no, we have to get up and–”

He shuts you up with a kiss and looks at you with his best puppy eyes and innocent smile, “Just five minutes, please.”

You falter for a moment and curse your weakness against his antics, and Jooyeon uses this chance to give you another kiss. This one is softer and more lingering, as if he’s trying to apologize for tricking you and pleading to let him have his way at the same time. You close your eyes and let out a small sigh then kiss him back. You can feel him smile against your lips and you can only describe what you’re feeling as exasperated – upset that he has you wrapped around his finger but happy that he’s happy.

“But just five minutes,” you warn him after pulling away but you know that it has no meaning. Five minutes becomes ten, ten becomes fifteen, fifteen becomes twenty, and so on. You still manage to get Jooyeon out of bed before 10am, you still manage to not be late, and Jooyeon still got his cuddles.

Summer was now in full swing, and every day seemed to get hotter and hotter. You were lying on your couch rewatching one of your favorite shows. The air conditioning was on full blast, there was a fan in the corner of the room- and it was still too hot.

“Honey, I’m home!” shouted your boyfriend, Jooyeon, as he walked through the door to your shared apartment. You couldn’t help but chuckle lightly at him.

“Hi,” you greeted him as he walked into the living room. “How was work today?”

“Long!” he groaned. “But now I’m home and I get to spend time with you!” Jooyeon then promptly took his place on the couch, flopping himself on top of you and wrapping his arms around you. “What are we watching?”

You squirmed underneath him, his natural heat instantly clinging to your body. “Jooyeon, can you please get up?”

Jooyeon turned away from the TV, now looking at you. “But…” he looked at you with big, round eyes. “I missed you all day.”

“I know baby, I missed you too.” you comforted him, giving him a kiss on the forehead. “But it’s too hot to have you laying on top of me like this.”

“You can lay on me if you think it’ll be cooler that way. I don’t mind!” He wore a hopeful smile. You felt a pang in your chest as you turned him down again.

“It’s too warm to cuddle right now, baby. I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay,” he sighed, finally getting off of you. Jooyeon tended to be very cuddly, but that got hard in the summertime. He had to find other ways to be affectionate towards you. “Have you eaten yet?”

“No, I haven’t,” you answered. “What do you want for dinner?”

Jooyeon thought about it for a moment before a smile erupted onto his face. “Ice cream.”

You looked at him, confusion all over your face. “Ice cream? Jooyeon, we can’t have ice cream for dinner.”

Jooyeon turned to you, now very serious. “Says who?” All you could do was stare back. He took your silence as an answer. “Exactly. C’mon, go get your shoes. There’s a really good ice cream place about a five minute walk down the street.” With that, Jooyeon skipped away to put on his shoes.

The two of you decided to bring your ice cream back to your apartment, so you could enjoy your “dinner” alone. Jooyeon has been telling you a story about work for the past five minutes. His story could’ve been over much quicker, but he was too busy laughing at himself to tell it without stopping. You didn’t mind though. Watching him smile and laugh and talk about the people and things that he loves is one of the best parts of your day.

“So then Gunil started dancing, and,” Jooyeon broke out into another fit of laughter, and you couldn’t help but laugh too. “Oh my god, (Y/N), I wish you could’ve seen it!”

“Gunil is quite the dancer,” you laughed back. You watched as Jooyeon calmed himself down from his laughing fit. Once he was calm, Jooyeon turned to you.

“Oh, (Y/N), you have some ice cream on your face.”

“Do I?” you questioned, bringing your hand to the corner of your mouth. “Where?”

“Don’t worry,” he smiled. “I’ll get it.” Jooyeon then leaned in, planting a kiss on your lips. After a few seconds, he pulled away. “Got it.”

You stared blankly back at him; partially too flustered to think of a response but also a little surprised that you didn’t see that coming. Before you could say something, a shiver ran down your back. Jooyeon looked at you with wide eyes.

“Are you… cold?” he asked, a faint look of hope in his eyes.

“A little bit. I mean, between the air conditioning and the ice cream I’ve definitely cooled down a lot.” You couldn’t help but notice that the smile that somehow never seemed to leave his face managed to get bigger.

“Well I know just the thing to warm you up!” Jooyeon grabbed your hand, pulling you to the living room before you had time to question him. He flopped himself down on the couch once again, pulling you down on top of him.

“You’ve had this planned from the start, haven’t you?” You asked him with a laugh. Jooyeon wrapped his arms tightly around you.

“Maybe.” He placed a kiss on the crown of your head.

You rolled your eyes at him. “You’re such a dork.”

“I love you too.”

“You look ridiculous.”

Sticking your tongue out at your boyfriend, you tugged at the huge hoodie you were wearing around your shoulders tighter. “You’re just jealous. That’s what you are.”

Jooyeon began to sputter, choking on his own saliva. “Wha-pa-ca-ta JEALOUS? I am NOT jealous!”

You burst out laughing so hard you almost peed yourself. “OH MY GOD! YES YOU SO ARE! YOU ARE JEALOUS!”

“I AM NOT!”

“Tell that to your face and how you’ve been acting all day.” You shot back, still laughing your ass off.

He pouted, crossing his arms over his chest for the twelfth time that day. “I’ve told you a thousand times I am not jealous and I will never be jealous. I don’t get jealous.”

You scoffed, finally calming your laughter a little. “Oh sure you don’t. You’re the most jealous person I’ve ever met. And I know O.de.”

Jooyeon groaned, rolling his eyes. “Do not compare me to that child. I am not a child.”

“Well, you are acting a lot like one so it’s a fair comparison.”

Your teasing made his frown worsen, which made him look madder than he probably was. Probably. “You’re a jerk, you know that?”

Shrugging, you answered, “So I’ve been told.”

When he didn’t respond after a while, you sighed in exasperation. “Look, just admit you’re jealous and I’ll do something about it, alright?”

“I told you! I. Am. Not. Jealous!” He snapped.

You scoffed. “Fine. Whatever you say. I’m not going to change anything then.”

“Fine!” He shot back, turning his face away from you.

The two of you sat in silence for a good fifteen minutes. You were honestly kind of impressed. With how Jooyeon has been acting all day, you thought that perhaps he’d break already. However, he seemed to have a stronger resolve than you initially thought. You had to give credit where credit is due.

“ALRIGHT FINE!” He shouted, causing you to jump slightly. “I AM JEALOUS! THERE! ARE YOU HAPPY? ARE YOU HAPPY TO KNOW I JUST ADMITTED THAT MAYBE SOMETIMES, VERY RARELY, I DO GET JEALOUS? HUH?”

You started laughing again, but not as hard as you did earlier. Nevertheless, you shrugged, “Maybe I am. Maybe I am a little happy you finally acknowledged that you’re jealous of a goddamn hoodie.”

“IT’S THE PRINCIPLE, Y/N!” He continued. “I’M THE BOYFRIEND! I’M THE ONE WITH THE BIG, COMFY HOODIES YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE WEARING! I’M THE ONE WHO SUPPLIES THEM IN THE RELATIONSHIP! YOU DON’T NEED TO GO OUT AND BUY YOUR OWN!”

“But it was on sale!” You whined. “And it was super cute and comfy! I just had to get it!”

Jooyeon pouted. “But if you buy your own hoodie, then what is my role in the relationship? I mean, if I’m not giving you my hoodie every second of the day, who am I?”

Chuckling, you wrapped your arms around him. Ignoring his whines about being touched by the “traitor” hoodie, you said, “Jooyeon, sweetie, your role in the relationship is the angel. We’re like the angel and demon from the Emperor’s New Groove that Kronk sees and talks to. You’re the sweet one and I’m the devilish one. You’re not simply my hoodie dealer.”

He sighed. “But maybe I wanted to be both.”

“You can be.” You assured him as you stroked his hair comfortingly. “But you’re my angel first and foremost, okay?”

Jooyeon simply shrugged, looking away. Mumbling under his breath, he said, “It doesn’t even smell like me.”

“Well it does now since you hugged me.”

Again, he shrugged. “True, I guess.”

With a chuckle, you pressed a soft kiss to his forehead. “You know I love you right? And if you love me just as much as I love you, we’ll put this whole hoodie debacle behind us once and for all. Okay?”

Looking deep into your eyes, he quickly switched the roles of the hug. Now you were the one in his arms, his fingers gently gripping your chin to keep your focus on him. Before you knew it he swept you into a deep kiss, enough to make your eyelids flutter shut and your knees basically turn to Jell-o.

When he pulled away, he whispered. “I do love you, very much. No matter what you do and how crazy you make me, I will always love you. And I don’t want to fight with you like this again, okay? It’s not worth it.”

You snorted. “Obviously. It’s just a hoodie.”

Rocking back and forth on your feet, you waited outside of the restaurant. He’s probably just running a little late, you told yourself as you checked the time. It was almost ten minutes after your scheduled date time. You pulled out your phone to shoot your date a text. “I’m standing outside of the restaurant. Are you gonna be here soon?” You hit send on the texting hoping to get a response that he would be there soon. That he was stuck in traffic or something. Much to your dismay another ten minutes go by and your date hasn’t even read your text. You sigh after checking your phone for the nth time. Your sigh seemed to catch the attention of a guy who was also waiting outside of the restaurant. You had noticed him a bit ago, but didn’t pay much mind to him. Too busy feeling humiliated about being stood up. You were about to walk away. It had been twenty minutes and your date was still a no show. Right as you began to walk away the guy called after you. 

“Excuse me?” He walked up to you. 

“Yes?” you said. 

“You were waiting for your date right?” he checked. You nodded your head yes in response. “I’ve been waiting for my date too. I’m pretty sure they stood me up, so…” The guy quasi-awkwardly looked to the side for a moment taking a breath then looked back at you. “So do you maybe want to go in together?” he pitched. 

“Sure, it would be a shame to waste the trip out here right?” you say. The guy's face lit up at your answer.

“Definitely. I’m Jooyeon,” he introduced himself. 

“I’m y/n,” you introduced yourself back. The two of you headed inside of the restaurant with Jooyeon opening the door for you. You both got seated at a table. A waiter came by soon after to take your orders. 

“So who’s the asshole that stood you up?” Jooyeon asked in a gossiping manner. It makes you chuckle. 

“A guy I met about a week ago. He came up to ask for my number while I was hanging out with some friends and they of course urged me to give it to him. I decided to give him a chance. Now I regret it,” you told. 

“Wow, so he hit on you first then stood you up.” Jooyeon shook his head. 

“Tell me about it. So who’s the asshole that stood you up?” you returned the question. 

“A girl my friend set me up with as a blind date. My friend is their acquaintance and I guess the girl kept talking about how she wanted to go on a date and meet somebody, yet she decided to not show up,” Jooyeon explained. 

“Maybe she met somebody on the way here,” you joked. Your joke was successful at making Jooyeon laugh. 

Your orders arrived. The waiter double checked if you needed anything else before leaving. You and Jooyeon were certainly hitting it off. The conversation flow was natural as you each talked about yourselves, getting to know one another better. 

“I’m glad you invited me in. This is really nice,” you disclosed. 

“Yeah it is. In a way I’m glad neither of our dates showed. I wouldn’t have gotten to know you if they did,” Jooyeon states.

 In perfect irony of timing here comes your date walking into the restaurant. He instantly feels angry when he discovers that you aren’t hopelessly waiting for him, but are instead eating with another guy. Smiling at the guy. Laughing with the guy. 

“What are you doing?” your supposed to be date asked standing at your table. You turned to look at him unimpressed. 

“What am I doing?” you repeated his question. “What are you doing? Walking in here,” you stopped to check the time. “Forty-five minutes late without giving me a text or call,” you turned it on him. 

“My phone died,” the guy excused. 

“Show me,” you tell him. 

“Huh?” he let out. 

“Your dead phone. Show me,” you clarified. 

“What, you don’t believe me?” he asked, offended. 

“Not particularly, but if you show me your dead phone and tell me why you’re late I’ll apologize.” The guy only scoffs.

“Why would I want to go on a date with someone like you anyway?” he says. Now you’re the one that scoffs. 

“So your phone isn’t dead right? You just thought you could show up to our date whenever you wanted and I’d be here helplessly waiting. Well news flash I have more self worth than that. I was gonna go home after waiting for you for twenty minutes, but then he invited me to join him and I’m glad he did.” You gestured across the table where Jooyeon sat. 

“Turns out you’re really not my type anyway,” the guy spits and he begins to walk away. 

“I feel bad for the people that are,” you called out. He throws the middle finger at you as he leaves the restaurant.

“So cool,” Jooyeon muttered under his breath. 

“What did you say?” you questioned. 

“You’re so cool,” Jooyeon said louder. “I don’t think I could’ve done that if my date walked in here like that.” 

“Well, he wasn’t my type either,” you laughed as you used the dude's attempt of an insult. 

“You dodged a bullet,” Jooyeon points. 

“That’s partly thanks to you,” you said. 

“Well then I’m happy to have been of service.” He smiles, giving a little bow. “Since I have been of service can I ask you something?” he checks. 

“Shoot,” you respond. 

“Can I take you out on a date or another one?” he asked you with a light chuckle. 

“I’d like that,” you happily agreed. “You better not be late.” You pointed a finger at him.

“If anything I’ll be early,” he states. The two of you quickly exchanged contact information. After you finished your meal together. 

Just like Jooyeon said he would be, he had gotten there early for your date together. You walked up to him with a bright smile painted on your face. 

“Hi,” you greeted him. 

“Hi, you’re here three minutes early yourself,” Jooyeon notes. 

“Well I wouldn’t want to keep you waiting,” you say. The two of you head inside, excited to spend more time together.

but at the same he feels very warm inside after hearing your honest words, and he can’t really hide it

might appear a bit awkward for a while after this, because now he knows this is getting serious and he wants to do everything just right so he won’t ever hurt you!

he does know that there’s something going on between you, because there’s no way anyone could not feel the spark between you two

so at first he’s just surprised, unsure what to say because he can’t quite believe it yet

SYNOPSIS: you and your friends were having a slumber party, jooyeon had taken the girlfriend you pretended to be friends with but deep down you hated, and something no one knew, you sat on her dick while she wasn't around.

As agreed, you and Jooyeon waited for everyone to sleep before going up to your room, you went up the stairs with long steps but barefoot so as not to make noise, the chances of others waking up in the middle of the night made you both feel the adrenaline, and that left you are even more certain to do as you agreed.

They entered your room in a hurry and as soon as you closed the door Jooyeon wasted no time and pulled you towards him, joining your lips to his forming a hurried kiss, which showed how much you were looking forward to it.

You were walking blindly since you didn't turn on the light in the room, Jooyeon found the wall and pressed you there, then looking for the switch with one hand, when he found it he turned on the light and you separated to catch your breath, the two of you looked at each other and they laughed at the situation.

"I didn't know we needed this so much, how long has it been since the last time?" - you asked the boy.

"I think it's been almost a month since we had the opportunity to be alone" - he replied, laughing weakly.

Your relationship was like that, he has a girlfriend, but you didn't really care about that. In fact, Jooyeon only dates this girl because of her parents and family interests, he doesn't love her, he loves you.

Okay, is it wrong for him to cheat on her anyway? Yes, it's wrong, but she's not a flower to smell, she's a petty, ignorant girl who tries to hide it but can't, you all only put up with her for Jooyeon (who also can't stand her, but makes an effort for her parents).

"I can't take this girl in our lives anymore joo, I just wanted to have you here with me every day" - you said, lightly stroking his hair.

"I know y/n, I also can't stand her anymore and I also wanted to be with you every day... But unfortunately it's not that easy, you know...".

You sighed but ended up agreeing, what really mattered was knowing that he loved you, you kissed Jooyeon again, his hands held your waist tightly, the kiss intensifying more and more making you gasp and just feel like sitting on him soon.

you sat cross legged on your bed, taking occasional bites of your cookies and cream ice cream bowl as you watched Drake and Josh. when the bathroom door opened back up and out came your boyfriend, you noticed a small pout play across his lips as he stood in an old baggy shirt and boxer briefs with dripping wet hair. normally you would ask for him to dry his hair a bit before even thinking of coming to bed, but he’s been very exhausted lately from long practices at his company so you figured you’d let it slide.

you pat the empty spot next to you, holding up the bowl of ice cream in your hands with the extra spoon being evident. “what’s wrong, joo? i even brought us some ice cream for bed.”

dramatically, he shuffled over tiredly to the spot next to you and sat down with his one hand occupied with his spare hairbrush he kept at your place for whenever he slept over. it was a normal sized brush with pink and purple flowers all over it; it made you smile whenever you saw it.

you eyed the hairbrush and jooyeon at the same time, shifting your glances at both of them with curiosity. “words, baby.”

he sighed, leaning back against the bed and laying his wet hair in your lap that was barely covered by your short pajama shorts. “can you comb out my hair for me? i’m too tired to do it myself.”

you just giggled, smiling down at him as you placed multiple forehead kisses to his skin before grabbing the brush from his hands and getting to work. “of course, my love.”

you passed him the half full bowl of cookies and cream ice cream, not caring if he even finished it or not. time passed as you both watched the show, sharing jokes and laughter with one another as you brushed out your boyfriends hair for him. you didn’t even care if your side of the bed was a bit wet from it, anything to make him more comfortable and spend more time with him. you noticed jooyeon gradually become quiet, signaling he was getting tired and was going to fall asleep at any given moment. by the time you finished combing out his hair, you looked away from the television screen to notice him fast asleep in your lap with the empty bowl of ice cream resting on top of his stomach.

you grabbed the bowl, setting it aside on the nightstand carefully as to not wake up the sleeping beauty. for a moment, you just stared down at him lovingly as your fingers played with the ends of his hair. a smile tugged at your lips as you thought about how grateful you were to have him in your life, and even more grateful to have him as your boyfriend. taking his body in your arms, you shifted his body in a somewhat more comfortable position so he wouldn’t wake up in a weird one later. when you finished doing so, you quickly made way under the covers and covered both of your bodies with the rather large blanket. that night, you fell asleep to the sounds of the older show you both binge watched at night along with jooyeon’s small breaths.
