It happens when the mood is just right.

He smiles at you and leans in with a natural, fluid movement.

You close your eyes and wait for your lips to connect but what connects are your noses, bumping into each other.

There's a moment of silence before you burst out laughing and he laughs along in embarrassment.

While he's distracted with the awkwardness, you cup his cheek, and making sure you align your faces correctly this time, you press your lips together.

Gunil freezes for a second, then smiles and kisses you back like he has planned to do.

JUNGSU:

He gives you a casual little kiss on the cheek like he always does.

He’s done this so many times before that you’ve already lost count, and you don’t even pay much mind to it anymore.

On this day, though, you feel that this wasn’t quite enough, that you finally want to feel his lips on your lips instead on your face.

So without thinking much about it, you go back and give him a quick peck then pull away immediately to see his reaction.

Jungsu blinks at you with a flustered expression but he’s unable to hide the giddiness bubbling up inside him.

He soon ends up giving you a hundred small and a hundred longer kisses.

GAON:

He’s watching you talk but he doesn’t hear a word of what you’re saying.

He sees your lips move and somehow he’s unable to think about anything else except how it would feel to move a little closer and feel your lips move against his own.

When you notice him staring and ask him what’s wrong, he just leans in and presses your lips together as if he’s possessed.

He lingers for a moment before pulling away slowly.

You can see that he’s already awkwardly clearing his throat and racking his brain to cover his embarrassment but you can’t let him go so fast, you pull him back for more.

He’s more than happy to continue kissing you for as long as you want.

He worked so hard on coming up with the perfect plan for this date and set up the scene for your first kiss.

He made sure that it would be a perfect and romantic day from morning until night, and when you say your goodbyes to each other, he would do it. He would kiss you for the first time.

So why is it that when he finally feels your lips on his, it’s you who grabs his shirt to pull him in and he can’t do anything but go along with you?

When you part for air and he sees the smile on your face clearly suggesting that you read his mind like an open book and you just decided to mess up his plan, he can only shake his head fondly.

He sighs and this time, he kisses you himself to recover his pride at least a little bit but accepts that you won this round.

JUNHAN:

It’s something that’s been on both of your minds for a while now, so when you feel like the moment is right, you ask him to kiss you.

He’s a little shy and embarrassed but he wants to do it too.

He watches you shut your eyes closed, his hand cups your cheek gently, barely touching you, but it’s enough to ground himself.

It’s an awkward moment when your lips connect with his, not unpleasant, just unfamiliar.

You pull away only to watch his dazed expression and give him a soft smile before putting your own hand on his where it’s holding your face.

Then you lean in to kiss him again and lead his lips to your own rhythm.

JOOYEON:

It happens in a completely unplanned and quite unexpected way.

You’re just fooling around on the couch and he’s being particularly annoying about making his point, leaning into your space and making childish expressions.

So you can see only one solution in this situation.

You decide that you’re not backing away this time, you will push forward, and with a swift and decisive move, you press your lips together with his, making him immediately shut up and his eyes widen.

By the time you pull away, everything else is long forgotten, and the purposely annoying expression is replaced by an embarrassed smile and small giggles, as he asks, “Do that again?”

And you’re more than happy to kiss him again and again and again…

"You're weak." Jiseok teased from across the room. "I could play for hours."

"So, you want practice to go over?" Gunil asked, making Jiseok's eyes go wide, his head shaking vehemently.

A chorus of chuckles filled the room in response to his reaction.

"I'm serious. We can stay later if you want." The eldest continued to tease.

Again, Jiseok shook his head.

"Y/n, can you play with my hair?" Jooyeon asked cutely, staring up at you with round eyes.

There was no way you could deny him, firstly because you loved playing with his hair, especially since it had gotten so long, secondly because you couldn't say no to his pleading eyes.

Your fingers threaded themselves through his long tresses, the vibrant magenta that colored the ends for Overload had faded, but that didn't take away from the beauty that was Jooyeon's magnificent mane. You thought he would cut it after Hello World, but he continued growing it and has kept that up for much longer than you would have assumed. In all honesty, you hope he keeps this long hair. It suits him well and you enjoy running your fingers through it.

You absentmindedly twirled a strand around your index finger, letting it fall and slowly undo itself. Jooyeon's eyes closed as you combed through his hair, a blissful sigh escaping his slightly parted lips. Changing tactics, you went from carding your fingers through his hair to braiding a strand of it, listening to the other members talk amongst themselves.

"I was thinking in this next run through of the song, Jungsu could-"

The entire band groaned, cutting off Gunil's sentence before he could even get to the point of it.

"C'mon, Gunil, we're supposed to be taking a break." Seungmin complained.

Hyeongjun nodded in agreement.

The leader pouted, slumping slightly in his seat before heading a sigh. "You're right."

"Y/n?" Jooyeon called softly, his eyes open and staring up at you.

"Mhm?"

"Can I have a kiss?"

Your eyes went wide at his request.

"In front of them?" You whispered.

"They won't notice."

Flicking your eyes up to the group sitting about the large practice room, you checked to make sure they were all engaged in their own conversations before looking back down at Jooyeon who had an expectant look on his face.

You licked your lips, taking another glance up at the other members before leaning down to kiss your awaiting boyfriend. He hummed immediately upon contact and you could feel him smiling slightly against your lips.

When you tried to pull away, he brought his hand up to the back of your head and halted your actions, pulling you back down to his lips. You had to suppress the small squeak that nearly left you in response to Jooyeon's bold action. He pressed his lips more firmly against yours and began to kiss with more fervor, carding his fingers through your hair.

As much as you would've liked to keep kissing him, you didn't want to draw attention to yourselves, so you pulled away.

"Jooyeon." You scolded in a whisper.

He laughed in that little cackle of his, not ashamed of what he had done at all.

"I'm still not sure if I like seeing those two being all mushy." Seungmin cringed.

"I've learned to ignore it." Hyeongjun murmured, tuning his guitar.

"I think they're cute." Jungsu admitted.

"You said they wouldn't notice."

You were supposed to be alone. At least, that’s what Gunil told you, when he pulled you close on the couch. He said no one would be coming for a while and he wasn’t busy doing anything. You laughed and tried to reason with him, saying if he wanted to try something, you should do it behind closed doors. But he was insistent and the idea of getting caught gave you an odd sense of excitement.

So you two started making out, naturally. He pressed his lips to yours and you completely melted. You couldn’t remember the last time the two of you got caught together in a moment like this. He was so busy with comeback preparations, you didn’t get to see him as often as you liked. It was because of how infrequent makeout sessions like this happened that you were going to make this one last as long as possible.

To say you were surprised is an understatement. You didn’t kiss him back until he pressed harder against your lips. It was then that it started to make sense to you. So you let yourself melt into the kiss. It was unsure and a bit nervous, but you were willing to take the lead. You held him gently and he found his rhythm against your lips. It was sweet, but you knew deep down that this wasn’t him.

“We can continue this later, when we don’t run the risk of the others walking in on us.”

Oh Seungmin:

“One little kiss?” Seungmin whined, his lips drawn into a cute pout.

You knew this was a dangerous game with him. Whenever he said one kiss, he usually expected another and then another and another, until the two of you were making out. It also didn’t help that the two of you were sitting in the common room, where anyone could walk in on the two of you.

However, with his adorable pout and his big eyes, you couldn’t help but want to give in. He made it too easy to be pulled into his bad ideas. So without thinking too much about the consequences, you closed your eyes and pressed your lips to his.

Seungmin hungrily kissed you back and wrapped his arms around you so you wouldn’t pull away. You couldn’t help but chuckle against his lips, which you then felt them curve upwards. Of course this was his plan all along. However, you weren’t too upset about how things played out. He deserved to be treated every once in a while. You could give him this.

What you didn’t count on was for Jiseok to come into the room while the two of you were making out on the couch.

“Whoa! Seungmin! What are you doing?”

The poor boy jumped away from you and started to sputter. “I- oh c’mon! I’m not the only one who makes out here! Don’t blame me for this! I’m sure you’ve made out in the dorms once or twice!”

“I mean, it’s a communal room. We all live here. You had to know someone was going to catch you.”

With another groan, Seungmin mumbled into your shoulder. “Remind me to never try that again in the common room.”

Debating your options, you sighed and threw him a bone. “If you win another game, I’ll kiss you.”

The One I Like

Hello! Hello! I'm actually really excited about this post because it is a collab with @odesonnets!!! (They're my blog bestie here on Tumblr 💕) I will be posting part 1 right here and part 2 will be uploaded on their blog, so please go check it out.

Han Hyeongjun

Summary: Seungmin is your longtime best friend and his members are convinced that you two are secretly dating. Little did they know it was one of them who was actually in your heart.

Over the course of yours and Seungmin’s friendship the two of you have been mistaken as a couple numerous times. At one point your own parents even questioned you about the true nature of the relationship between you and Seungmin. The truth was that you and Seungmin were best friends. That was it. There has never been any romantic feelings between you two.

Alas no matter how much you both tried to set the record straight it seemed like there was always someone(s) who insisted that you guys were a couple. Right now those someones being Seungmin’s members, Xdinary Heroes.

“Anytime I tell the members that I’m hanging out with you they tell me to have fun on my date and it’s starting to get so annoying,” Seungmin stated as he entered your room and flopped down onto your bed. He grabbed a pillow to rest his head on and let out a huff.

“Haven’t you told them that we’re just friends?” you checked as you climbed onto the bed, sitting criss crossed and bringing a pillow to hold on your lap.

“I correct them everytime, but they just don’t seem to believe me. They’re convinced that we’re dating, but don’t want to admit for whatever reason,” Seungmin explained. You let out an annoyed sigh of your own.

“Hyeongjun thinks that we’re dating too?” you asked in a disappointed voice. Seungmin props himself up on his elbows to send you a sympathetic look. He knows all about your hopeless pining over his bandmate, because he can’t escape it. He always has to hear you go on and on about how much you like him. To which he always teases you for being down bad for him.

“You’re so lucky.” You randomly told Seungmin. He quirks up an eyebrow in confusion.

“What?” he asked.

“You get to see Hyeongjun everyday,” you say.

“Here we go again,” Seungmin muttered under his breath. Getting ready to listen to you rant about Hyeongjun, yet again.

“You know how lucky that is right? You get to be with a cute, talented, amazing, handsome, cool, heart fluttering.” Seungmin stopped listening by this point, but you kept listing Hyeongjun’s qualities.

“Y/n if you really think that he’s so great tell him yourself!” Seungmin raised his voice slightly.

“I can’t. I don’t know how to talk to him,” you whined.

“You’ve hung out with him before,” Seungmin stated.

“That was a group thing with you and the rest of the members. Plus my heart was beating so fast when I was standing beside him I could barely form coherent sentences.”

“You are truly pathetic,” he told you.

“I know leave me alone,” you grumbled.

Seungmin was currently walking you back home after you had game night with them at their dorm. You were walking with a dopey smile on your face, occasionally giggling as you kept your fingers pressed to a spot on your forehead.

“Have you actually lost your mind?” Seungmin looked at you with a very judgemental look.

“He flicked me so gently.” You smiled like an idiot. You had lost a game and the other players getting to flick your forehead was the penalty. While some members showed you no mercy, cough Jiseok, other members were much nicer i.e Hyeongjun. It only made you more lovesick for him.

“Ok, yes, you’ve gone completely delusional,” Seungmin declared. You dropped your hand from your forehead and swatted Seungmin in the arm.

“I have not!” you refuted. “I just really like him,” you claimed as you awkwardly kicked a stone from the pavement.

“I know you do.” Seungmin patted your head.

Looking back Seungmin really doesn’t know how his members think that he is the one you like. Obviously he knows that they are oblivious to all of your helpless pining. They’re never around you to witness your heart eyes when Hyeongjun posts a new selca or hear you talk about how great he is and how much you like him, but how did they fail to notice your pink cheeks wherever you are around Hyeongjun. How you stand just a bit closer to him compared to the other members. The way your eyes seemingly always find their way to look at him. To Seungmin it was obvious that you liked Hyeongjun, but was it not so obvious to someone with an outside perspective?

“I don’t know for sure.” Seungmin tried to give you some bit of hope. “I mean he plays along with the others when they tell me to have fun on my date with you and stuff, but that’s it. He never instigates that we’re dating. He has never asked me if we’re actually dating or not either, so I don’t know,” he explained. You nodded your head. However you’re not really sure what to make out of that information. Was it good or bad that Hyeongjun never asked if you and Seungmin were actually dating? Does he not ask cause he thinks it’s true or does he not ask because he thinks it isn’t true? Does he simply not care if you and Seungmin are dating or not?

Suddenly a pillow is thrown at you snapping you from your thoughts.

“I could see the wheels turning in your head. Was probably about to see smoke coming out of your ears any second.” Seungmin teased you. In retaliation you hit Seungmin back with the pillow you had on your lap. Seungmin laughs.

“It’s not funny. It’s bad if Hyeongjun believes that we’re dating,” you pouted.

“Then how about you just tell him that you like him and end our dating rumors,” Seumgmin tells you.

“I can’t do that. There’s no way that he likes me back, especially if he thinks that we’re dating.”

“What if I found out what he thinks then? I’ll ask him if he thinks that we’re dating or not?” Seungmin suggested.

“What if he does think that we’re dating?” you expressed your concern.

“I’ll very vehemently tell him that we’re not. That you are very much single…..and hopelessly in love with him,” he teased you at the end.

“You better not tell him the last part!” you yelled, hitting him with your pillow once more. Seungmin laughs menacingly and hits you back with his pillow, turning it into a pillow fight.

Seungmin returned back to the dorm after spending a few hours with you.

“Back from your date?” Jooyeon played as soon as he saw Seungmin come in through the door.

“It wasn’t a date. How many times must I tell you guys that y/n and I are just friends?”

“Seungmin, it's ok. You can tell us the truth.” Jiseok now joined in on the fun.

“The truth is that we’re best friends,” Seungmin emphasized the last two words.

“Maybe it’s y/n who doesn’t want to say that they’re dating. Maybe they’re scared about Seungmin receiving backlash from it, so they're the one insisting that they are just ‘best friends’” Gunil spoke as he entered the room. Seungmin let out a sigh, bringing his hands up to rub his face.

“No, we say that we are best friends because that’s what we are,” Seungmin spoke sternly.

“Ok,” Jooyeon said.

“Sure,” Jiseok chimed.

“If you say so,” Gunil added. It was clear that none of them believed him. Seungmin was becoming very annoyed with them, but right now what they thought didn’t matter. What Hyeongjun thought is what mattered.

Seungmin went to find Hyeongjun and found him in his room, sitting on the bed strumming on his guitar.

“Hey Hyeongjun can I talk to you?” Seungmin asked.

“Yeah, what’s up?” Hyeongjun responded, setting his guitar aside.

“Do you think that y/n and I are actually dating?” he prompted. Confusion came over Hyeongjun’s face.

“Why?” Hyeongjun asked perplexed.

“I need you to know that we’re not dating. We are just friends,” Seungmin told.

“..Ok?” Hyeongjun thought that Seungmin was acting strange.

“Don’t fall for it, Hyeongjun. They’re definitely dating,” Jungsu said as he entered the room. Seungmin face palms. Why? Jungsu why? He thinks.

“Ah, is Seungmin trying to convince Hyeongjun that him and y/n are just friends?” Gunil enters the room right behind Jungsu.

“We really are just friends.” Seungmin feels like he’s snapping.

“Why does it matter if they’re friends or dating though?” Hyeongjun put to question.

“Because y/n is hopelessly in love with you,” Seungmin slipped.

“What!” Gunil, Jungsu and Hyeongjun yelled in unison. Seungmin smacked his hand over his mouth. You were so going to kill him.
