The question remains why y'all are so heavily invested in applying Black liberation lingo to yourselves. Not once have I, after experiencing discrimination/having a member of my (the Black) community experience outright racial violence, told people about my experiences and tagged it with #EndAsianHate or #JusticeForMuslims (unless they were Black members of those communities), nor have I ever desired to do that or anything similar. Because I understand that's inappropriate. Its decontextualizing and stripping meaning from specific terms for specific violence and oppression those communities face. This is agreed upon. But when it comes to Black people asking for a similar level of respect (on a ~70% white website) for liberation politics that have a much longer and stronger tie to civil rights, it's suddenly- “chaos agents dividing us” “Federal (Russian) Psyops”. Y'all ask forrr solidarity with the ppl you oppress without dropping any of the behaviors that showcase blatant disregard their liberation movements + politics and call it divisive when we call it what it is.

So mad right now...

I can't believe we're banning Muslims yet the next (yearly) mass shooting which will be done by an American citizen is right around the corner. My previous neighbors were Muslim from Iraq. Nicest lady who fed me homemade date pastries and we chatted every week about our gardens (hers was much better than mine lol). If I still lived in Tampa I would fight anyone who tried to hurt her and her family. Like seriously. This isn't even funny anymore. But America is damn selfish, no one cares about shit until it affects them. Well I hope we do put a 20% tax on Mexican products. If beers go up in price then maybe people will give a damn and start paying attention to politics. I am sorry I am literally so mad right now because this affects someone personally close to me.
