Last Week To Sign Up!
Hey guys, this is the last week to nominate tropes for the KakaIru Advent Calendar Challenge 2021!
We just need 14 more people to join us, so we can run the event!
If you’re still confused about what the Advent Calendar Battle is, it’s basically a contest to find out which holiday trope is the best!
The trope that you nominate will be added to a list of tropes that other people have nominated; and each week from 1st Dec - 31st Jan, we will post that list, and you guys choose your favourites.
At the end of the week, the bottom three tropes will be erased from the list, and the people who nominated those tropes will no longer be in the battle. This goes on until there’s only a few tropes left; and the person who submitted the winning trope will be the winner of the event, and they will get a prize!
If you would like to nominate a trope for this non-creation event, you can do so here. If you can’t think of a trope, mod @kakairu-shrine wrote a list you can choose from!

Urgent Event Update! Please Read!
Hi guys, it has just been brought to our attention that the reason some of you haven’t signed up for the KakaIru Advent Calendar Battle yet is because you haven’t been able to!
We are not sure of the reason, but the forum still seems to be having server issues, and some of you can’t get to the website; so what we have done is prepared a spreadsheet that you can fill in so you can still participate in the event!
We have also extended the sign up date to 5th Dec, giving you an extra week to get your nominations in!

Final Day to Sign Up!
It is now 5th Dec, and that means today is the LAST DAY to sign up for the KakaIru Advent Calendar Battle 2021!
We are also excited to announce that we’ve reached our minimum goal for participants, so the event will be going ahead! 🥳
If you would like to nominate a trope for this non-creation event but haven’t yet, you can do so here. If you can’t think of anything, there is a list of ideas on the spreadsheet to help you out!
We will commence with the battle on 6th Dec, so look out for our next post about it!

Two Weeks to Sign Up!
Hey guys, there’s only TWO WEEKS LEFT to nominate a trope for the KakaIru Advent Calendar Battle 2021!
As it stands, we only have a few nominations; and if we cannot reach the minimum of 24 participants, we may have to CANCEL the event. If you have intended to sign up but just haven’t gotten around to it yet, please do it by 30th Nov!
As a reminder, this is an event in which you will not need to create anything! All you have to do is tell us a holiday trope that you like by the end of the month, and from 1st Dec - 31st Jan, everyone will vote on their favourites from the list; and the winner will get a prize!
Mod @kakairu-shrine has come up with a list of tropes that you can either use, or get inspiration from, if you can’t think of anything to nominate!

Thank you so much to everyone who nominated a trope, and has been participating in the event - we couldn’t have done it without you!
We are down to our Top Three, and sadly, although all of them are amazing tropes, only one of them can be the winner.

Announcements
We just released a new set of emojis to use on the forum, that our amazing mod @oneinist made for us! This time we have a jounin Kakashi to go with the chuunin Iruka emojis that we currently have!
We have a new category called Forum Missions! Here, you can sign up for a 3x3 mission card, and when you complete enough tasks (making a post, sharing a fic rec, etc.), you can go in the draw of our Seasonal Raffle! The first raffle will be drawn at the end of March, so make sure you sign up & complete your tasks before then! More info here.

1. If you’ve signed up for the @kakairu-discord-server 77 min gift exchange, the pairings have been sent out, and you have until 31st Jan to submit your gift!
2. Springtime of Romance: Youthful Passion - Valentine’s/White Day Partner Exchange! Sign ups for this event is from 1st - 10th Feb through the kakairu discord server. There’ll be more info there, too.
