Playing Haven after its same sex couple update and this is my favourite track and....my boys Yu and Kay are so adorable.

I love the game, music, story, aesthetic and the mature relationship the two have.

Definitely worth a play.

Favorite Story You Wrote: Haven’t completed one yet, but I (generally) enjoy writing both of my fics & getting to share this story idea that I think puts the characters in a situation that other people may not have imagined or heard before.

Story You Were Nervous to Post: I get nervous posting any of my stuff to be honest (what if people don’t like it? What if it’s no good? What if no one reads it or cares?), but I get especially nervous posting stuff with other people’s OCs in it b/c I worry about doing them justice, writing them correctly, and the owner of the OC secretly hating it & not having the heart to tell me.  ;__;*

How You Choose Your Titles: ‘Shadow of Steel‘ was the mission in FO4 in which the Prydwen arrives in the Commonwealth, the Sole Survivor meets up w/ Danse at the Cambridge Police Station, they board the Prydwen, meet Elder Maxson, & he makes you a Brotherhood Knight (which is roughly where my fic starts).

‘The Book of John’ is a play off of ‘The Book of Joseph’ (also found HERE). I thought I was being ‘so clever’ (my fic being about my Dep Sarah & John Seed)... but then I discovered that Joseph’s bible in the game itself (the book you throw off of his statue) is actually called ‘The WORD of Joseph’, and I realized this after I’d already started writing the fic. Not a huge deal, I don’t think, but... yeah. Lol. ALSO (’fun fact’): the ‘Revelation to John’ is another name for the ‘Book of Revelations‘, which is the part of the New Testament/Christian bible that Joseph likes to quote/take inspiration from so much (especially in the 1st part of FC5, talking about the Collapse & such). I knew I wanted Sarah to be somewhat well-versed in the bible when I created her (to throw John and Joseph for a bit of a loop), and ‘The Revelation to John’ (...see what I did there? Lol) didn’t have the same ‘zest’ to me that ‘The Book of John’ did, so I went with the latter title to my fic.

As for other one-shots or things I title... I dunno, I just try to think of something creative & hope it sounds good, lol (bonus points if it’s something meaningful to the story, as opposed to just something that merely ‘sounds good’).

Complete: No completed fics yet (currently writing 2), just a few completed one-shots/ficlets.

In-complete: Both fanfics, unfortunately, lol (not for lack of constant trying)

Do You Outline: ...Sort of? Lol. My thought process is kind of a mess. I have Google Docs w/ sporadic, random notes on them, and my brain somehow makes sense of it all.

Coming Soon / Not Yet Started: ...There’s a FC5 regency/fantasy AU that I considered in which the Seeds are not bad people (quite good, actually), they are actually royals & trying to find the right girl to marry John off to (insert a few Dep OCs here) - and believe it or not (--SPOILER--), my Sarah does not end up w/ John in that one (but I don’t leave her hanging, lol). I dunno how I’m gonna feel about writing when I FINALLY finish the two fics I’ve been working on for literally at least a couple years now (dunno when I’ll ever be completely done w/ them), so I dunno if this idea will ever see the light of day. However, for the curious, I at least made a Pinterest board for it, which one can find HERE.

Do You Accept Prompts: Yes, always! I get very busy and/or tired, so it might take me a little while to get it done (as is the case w/ Tumblr asks/tagging memes as well) - but if someone sends me something, I always do my best to respond.

Upcoming Story You Are Most Excited to Write: Dunno of this counts to the question, but I look forward to:  - (in my FO4 fic) Nora discovering the mystery behind the synth known as S9-43, as well as canon game events, how my OCs will affect these, and how S9 will affect other characters as well (and those two crappy scientists! Lol). - (in my FC5 fic) Sarah and John learning more about each other & growing closer, being torn between loyalties to their respective ‘factions’ and doing what they feel is right, and becoming different/changed people in the process as events progress.

Okay FO4 positivity time now I LOVE the quest to go make the Library safe that Beatrice gives you, it's just another dungeon crawl but the horror of somewhere the Sole might have been a patron in too going downhill like that and the pleasure of cleaning it up (You can't in game but in MY head they get some people together and fix it up or salvage some of the books to send with caravans as a travelling library service or something)

Fallout 4's biggest crime is that I & 99% of the OCs I'm interested in creating and playing would never in a MILLION years agree to name a kid Shawn. I don't have anything against the name or people with it, but it is very much not one I would ever pick or say yes to when there are other names to pick from unless my partner had a REALLY strong sentimental reason. Even THEN I would negotiate and see if we can't have it as a middle name rather than a first name.

It's just how gameplay shook out for me but I reached max affinity with MacCready helping a ghoul kid find out what happened to his family and MAN sometimes things that work out so perfect that you WISH you'd wrote it or done it on purpose 😭🖤 Two very sad Dads doing the best for their sons helping ANOTHER lost kid find home because they can't be with their own kids right now but they can help Billy, dammit!
