⚡Y'all were just watching TV. And by watching TV, I mean Kayden dangling on the edge of being asleep and awake while you were scrolling through tiktok.

⚡and that is when you happen to stumble across this new couples tiktok trend. You look up once to see Kayden's head slipping from his hand, that was supported by his elbow resting on the arm-rest of the couch. His temple crashing into the arm-rest and jostling him awake. He grumbles slightly under his breath before returning to his prior position.

⚡You look down once again at the video and decide to give it a shot right then and there as he starts to fall back asleep.

⚡Kayden hisses and jolts awake from the cold shock caused by you sneaking your legs under the blanket and his hoodie and sinking your frozen toes into his stiff yet warm belly. You snicker at his reaction with a cheeky smile.

⚡he glares at you for a moment before diving his hand under the layers to grab your feet and drag them closer to the front part of his belly and onto his lap.

⚡All while lightly caressing and massaging your ankle absentmindedly with one hand as he focused on the TV again.

⚡as a stillness settles back in, you were about to shoot your shot but got interrupted.

⚡"Why not just come here if you're so cold? " Kayden muttered as he stared at the TV, giving you a side eye after he'd finished.

⚡"I'll get too hot! " you retort with a pout.

⚡there's a pause, as if he's contemplating something and it leaves the air feeling heavy. You start to wonder what he's thinking about when--

⚡"you're very hot and I still eat you. " Kayden starts with a nonchalant tone but breaks into a snort at the end as you stare at him in disgust because of the unbelievably corny joke.

⚡your expression of utter horror and disgust leaves him wheezing as he clamps one hand over his mouth and the other clutches his stomach.

⚡"you're so lame. " you sigh through your nose, biting the corner of your lips to hold it down from curling up into a smile.

⚡"and you're annoying." He breathes after having calmed down.

⚡"Whatever asshole! " you mutter with a huff and an eye role.

⚡and then silence falls over for a few minutes.

⚡ but just as kayden starts to fall asleep again, you wiggle and dig your toes into his belly. Causing him to get pulled back into reality and give you an arched brow along with a side eye. Urging you to spill why you have tortured his poor stomach again.

⚡ "Hey babie! I'm kinda craving an orange right now! Can you get it for me? " you request with a wide grin as kayden slowly wipes the drool off his face and glares at you for making him get up from this warm cocoon. "Can't you do it yourself? " "baby please! (｡•́︿•̀｡)"

⚡his brows have a slight pinch to them as he begrudgingly gets up and heads to the kitchen.

⚡takes him about a minute or two of searching and yelling back from the kitchen, asking where the oranges are.

⚡returns and collapses onto the couch, almost crushing you poor feet but soon resumes the position you guys were previously in. "Hey!! (•ˋ _ ˊ•)" "Oops. ( ͡° ʖ̯ ͡°)"

⚡holds out the orange towards you and gets confused when you ask him to peel it. "Can you peel it for me too? (´∩ω∩｀)" "（∵）？"

⚡because from his perspective, he doesn't see a reason why you can't peel it yourself and is feeling rather lazy after fetching it for you. He means like, you don't even have to get off the couch to do it now. So loss of warmth isn't an issue anymore. So it's no longer making sense to him.

⚡he now feels like he's done enough and that you're being too lazy by making him do everything when you clearly saw he was just about going to fall asleep. And being roused awake twice also annoyed him a lot, so you could say he's a bit pissy about that too.

⚡and also, he's not really one to obey and follow orders. At least not for long.

⚡silly dumb Kayden.

⚡so he very carelessly goes "nah woman, peel it yourself. ( ͠° ͟ ͜ʖ ͡ ͠°)" and tosses it at you uncaringly.

⚡it hit you on the forehead and landed on your lap.

⚡you sniffled, feeling your nose starting to have a rising tickling sensation. You stare down at your lap. Vision getting a little blurry.

⚡you start to feel like maybe he truly doesn't love you. You can't be blamed for thinking that though, the man rarely says it. And it took him years of hooking up and knowing you to finally put a label on your relationship.

⚡sometimes you feel like he only chose you because you were the least annoying. As you almost never pressured him into anything.

⚡which you truly didn't because at the beginning you were well aware of how brash he was and you didn't care for him either. But that changed with time. And it hurt more and more to tolerate his lack of commitment.

⚡your next course of action freaked him out, cause you looked at him, not with anger but a deep sadness and disappointment like he just failed to calculate the square root of 4.

⚡"Babe? （∵）？" he puts his warm hand on your ankle. Rubbing it slightly, in a fidgety manner. A knot forming in the pit of his stomach.

⚡when you pull away your legs from him, his brows furrow. "Baby what's wrong? Σ(ﾟДﾟ；)" he feels a sudden discomfort.

⚡"nothing. (´。＿。｀)" you mutter as you slowly rise from your spot on the couch but then large hands clamp down on your shoulders and pull you back down.

⚡Kayden straight up koala-ed you, wrapping his legs around your torso and using his body weight to his advantage, keeping you glued to him as he grabbed the sides of your face and pulled it towards his. Your lips inches apart and your noses almost touching, foreheads pressed together. His intense eyes and unwavering gaze staring into yours. Yours that have made an oath of not looking into his.

⚡but he's persistent. He holds you firmly even as you try to turn away. Wondering if looking into your eyes would let him know why you're so upset suddenly. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul after all.

⚡when you squeeze them shut, he sighs before pecking the tip of your nose and moving away.

⚡grabbing the orange and gingerly peeling it. Looking back at you as he grabbed a piece. Scotting back close to you as you move away and into a corner with your face covered by your hands.

⚡your position allows him to pin you in place as you have no where left to go now. Trapped between the arm-rest and a solid wall of muscle.

⚡"now, open your mouth! (*´▽`)" "noooo ヽ(`д´；)/"

⚡you continue to persist even after a minute longer of pleading.

⚡growing impatient, he grabs the hands covering you beautiful face with one hand and pulls it above your head. Staring at your face for a long moment, his adam's apple bobbing as he gulped, breaking his gaze to stare at the piece of orange in his hand.

⚡leaning in, he put the piece inside his mouth. Which made you want to cry all over again.

⚡but that thought was forgotten as his face kept getting closer and closer and closer--

⚡his lips molded with yours seamlessly and you involuntarily melted into it. Forgetting for a moment what you were so upset about. Forgetting the world around you.

⚡he licked your bottom lip lightly, a question, asking for permission. He squeezes your side sensually with his free hand, causing you to sigh and grant him entry.

⚡his deft tongue slips in, instantly dominating yours.

⚡but there's also something else, lumpy and sweet.

⚡your eyes flick open in surprise, remembering that you never actually saw him chew or swallow.

⚡your eyes shut close as he begins to pull away, lips following after his, needy with want, drunk on his taste.

⚡and as much as he would love to indulge, he has an issue to fix.

⚡he hides his face in your chest while you chew, letting go of your wrists and wrapping both arms around you waist as you chew on the piece of orange. Savouring the sweet taste.

⚡"Honey what's wrong? (｡•́︿•̀｡)" came his muffled voice, before he raised his head just enough for you to be able to see his eyes., the rest still buried in your warm plushness.

⚡the use of the nickname makes you smile. Because it's so domestic sounding and Kayden is anything but domestic.

⚡but as you take in his soft gaze and small pout, you think to yourself, that maybe, maybe it'll be worthwhile to have some faith in him this time.

6/10 huge fumble back there but you got some faults too cause you did disturb his sleep. Also point for sexiness.
