There Is No Escape

Mujāhid reported that ʿUthmān b. ʿAffān (may Allah be pleased with him) said in a sermon: "O children of Ādam, know that the Angel of Death who has been assigned to every soul has not ceased to pass by you, and move on to others ever since you have been in this world, حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دَازِيلَ الْهَمَذَانِيُّ، نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ؛ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيَّ يَقُولُ: عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ؛ قَالَ: خَطَبَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَقَالَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ: ابْنَ آدَمَ! اعْلَمْ أَنَّ مَلَكَ الْمَوْتِ الَّذِي وُكِلَ بِكَ لَمْ يَزَلْ يُخْلِفُكَ وَيَتَخَطَّى إِلَى غَيْرِكَ مُذْ أَنْتَ فِي الدُّنْيَا، But it is as if he is about to pass over someone else and move on to target you, وَكَأَنَّهُ قَدْ تَخَطَّى غَيْرَكَ إِلَيْكَ وَقَصَدَكَ؛ So be careful, and prepare for him by correcting your deeds, فَخُذْ حِذْرَكَ وَاسْتَعِدَّ لَهُ، And do not forget him, وَلَا تَغْفَلْ؛ For Indeed he has not forgotten you, فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفَلُ عَنْكَ، And know children of Ādam if you are heedless about yourself, وَاعْلَمِ ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنْ غَفِلْتَ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ And do not prepare for him, وَلَمْ تَسْتَعِدَّ [لَهَا] ؛ No one else will prepare you for him, لَمْ يَسْتَعِدَّ لَهَا غَيْرُكَ، You most certainly will meet Allah the Mighty and Majestic. وَلَا بُدَّ مِنْ لِقَاءِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ؛ So take account for yourself, and do not leave it up to someone else. فَخُذْ لِنَفْسِكَ وَلَا تَكِلْهَا إِلَى غَيْرِكَ، al-salāmu ʿalaykum. وَالسَّلَامُ al-Dīnawarī, al-Mujālasah wa Jawāhir al-ʿIlm 2/73 #207 الدِّينَوري، المجالسة وجواهر العلم ٢/٧٣ #٢٠٧ https://shamela.ws/book/9948/248 @ilmtest [https://t.me/ilmtest]

Where are those who were before you during the previous times?

Isn’t it the case that their destined end already pre-decreed for them?

Where are our forefathers and where are our mothers and grandmothers?

Where are our close relatives and where are our neighbors?

Where are our acquaintances and where are our friends?

They have all traveled onward to the the graves, and by Allah, scarce is our remaining time after them!

Their homes are now inhabited by others, and their friends have forgotten them and abandoned them.

The news of what they used to do unsettles the people of understanding, and reminders of them sadden the hearts of their loved ones.

Their situations are a lesson for those who take lesson, so consider the conditions of those who have passed on and take admonishment from the previous nations in order that the hardened hearts might be softened.

All praise belongs to Allah, the Creator of the days and months and the One who causes the years and time to pass away, the One who facilitates what is made easy and who apportions out what is decreed to happen. He knows the betrayals of the eyes and what the hearts conceal.

In questo giorno, il 18 giugno 656, Ali bin Abu Talib fu eletto quarto Califfo Rashidun.

Dopo l'assassinio di Uthman bin Affan, i Muhajirun e gli Ansar si riunirono attorno ad Ali. Inizialmente Ali rifiutò di accettare la carica, ma quando alcuni importanti compagni del Santo Profeta ﷺ, oltre ai residenti di Medina, lo esortarono ad accettare l'offerta, alla fine acconsentì. Un certo numero di altri importanti compagni gli prestarono fedeltà, mentre altri, tra cui Muawiyah bin Sufyan, si ribellarono a lui.

Ecco il primo Khutab di Ali come califfo:

"Allah onnipotente e glorioso ha fatto scendere un Libro che guida. In esso ha chiarito ciò che è bene e ciò che è male, quindi prendete il bene e lasciate il male. Eseguite i doveri religiosi verso Allah ed Egli vi condurrà in Paradiso.

Allah ha stabilito una serie di norme inviolabili, che sono ben note, e ha favorito l'inviolabilità del musulmano rispetto a tutte le altre, rafforzando i musulmani con la dichiarazione e la fede in un unico Dio.

Il musulmano è una persona da cui si può stare tranquilli, a meno che non ci sia una giusta causa; e non è permesso fare del male a un musulmano, a meno che non sia obbligatorio. Affrettatevi a raggiungere la causa comune, perché la causa particolare di ogni individuo è la morte.

La gente è davanti e dietro di voi e vi esorta ad andare avanti, ricordate: è l'Ora! Mantenete il vostro carico [di peccati] leggero, e raggiungerete [il Paradiso] rapidamente. Le persone sono semplicemente in attesa dell'altra vita.

Servi di Allah! TemeteLo nei rapporti con gli altri Suoi servi e con i luoghi di Lui. Siete responsabili anche della terra e degli animali, quindi obbedite ad Allah Onnipotente e Glorioso!

Non andate contro di Lui! Quando vedete il bene, seguitelo; quando vedete il male, lasciatelo stare. "Ricordate quando eravate pochi nella terra e considerati deboli".

فاتقوا الله أيها الآباء في أولادكم، و أحسنوا تربيتهم ليكونوا لكم قرة أعين في حياتكم و خلفا صالحا بعد وفاتكم. ولا تهملوهم فيكونوا عذابا لكم في حياتكم و خلفا سيئا بعد وفاتكم.

“Bertakwalah kepada Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla wahai para orangtua dalam mendidik anak-anak kalian. Berikanlah pendidikan (agama) yang terbaik agar mereka menjadi penyejuk hati semasa kalian hidup dan menjadi generasi yang shalih setelah kalian mati. Janganlah mengabaikan pendidikan (agama) mereka, karena dikhawatirkan hal itu akan menjadi siksa semasa kalian hidup dan akan menjadi generasi yang buruk setelah kalian mati.”

Papuaunik, - Kapolsek Kemtuk Gresi Ipda Sunggul Sinurat bersama warga di Kampung Klesu, Distrik Gresi Selatan, Kabupaten Jayapura, Papua, pada Selasa menanam padi ladang jenis 64 dilahan seluas satu hektar guna ketahanan pangan ditengah pandemi corona atau COVID-19. Dalam penanaman padi yang bersumber dari dana Otsus tersebut juga dihadiri Kadistrik Gresi Selatan Oktovianus Hirwa, Kepala Dinas Tanaman Panggan yang di Wakili PPL Kemtuk Gresi Jhon Masrigani, Ketua kelompok tani ladang Khutab Boas Sruwalli, tokoh adat atau Ondoafi Kampung Iwon Oktovianus Trapen dan warga setempat.
