a/n: i’m a sucker for domestic itachiiii <333 fluff and just, slice of life thingy goin’ on

living together with itachi had its perks. you didn’t have to worry about taking the trash out. you didn’t have to worry about a lot of little things which otherwise irritated you. take today for example: you have had a truly hectic week. meetings, appraisals, work politics, a certain bitch you hate and want to kill. everything was coming together hauntingly. so? saturday you didn’t do anything. being the epitome of a couch potato suits you sometimes. especially when those sometimes include your period.

today your eyes opened to an annoying nuisance. your period cramps again. itachi came to you, a huge mug of iced latte in his painted hands, nudging you tenderly and kissing your forehead. “good morning, you are up early today. yesterday you woke up at 11:45. look, it’s just 10:30” he winked, watching you roll your eyes at him. itachi had a subtle way of teasing you & you fairly understood that.

the coffee tasted immaculate. you had no words to express how tasty it was honestly. just the right amount of coldness, the kind that wakes you up soothingly. the perfect amount of chocolate & caramel. the perfect amount of crushed ice. you looked around the house & decided while sipping your morning drink, today you needed to be productive.

“m’ gonna open my laptop & then play games. after that m’ taking a shower and we’ll go out.” oh— itachi was ‘also’ your boyfriend. makes sense doesn’t it? why else would he treat you like a princess when he could’ve been labelled as king ‘aloof’.

“you will take a shower, work out a bit because it’s been 4 days you haven’t moved your body. i suggest pilates since you are still on your period. then, i will help you cook something for lunch. and further on; we will go out.” you always loved when itachi had his little planner instinct come out for you. there are times when you could really use that.

with that, the day was starting to go by with a slight haze. you had tasks lined up where you’d rather not think. give your mind a little rest by being in the backseat & let your boyfriend handle the itty bitty bits about that all. “speaking of, i need to get my nails done,” you sat on the kitchen counter, watching… or rather, gawking at your man chopping vegetables with such ease. “uh huh?” he looked rather indulged, the bun accentuated his features which would make van gogh bow.

he leaned in, gently placing himself between your legs and kissing your lips softly, hands freshly washed and scared to touch your supple skin. “i love you, angel,” itachi cooed, leaning his forehead against you. “i am so, so glad you depend on me you know that? because you don’t depend on anyone else & that’s what makes me strive so hard to be worthy of it,”

there he was, with his unadulterated words, piercing them deep inside your heart. your pupils shaked in sheer adoration, eyes glossing up. “m’ on my period dya wan’ me to fuckin’ cry?” you whined, leaning your head against his shoulder and hugging him.

he felt so warm, tenderly warm and caregiving that you often forgot that the world doesn’t know, or see this side of him. he’s ruthless to others, often labelled as cold. a twisted part of you likes it. you are exclusive to his love. you’d always be.

“alright now, i want you to eat, then how about,” itachi bit his lower lip, “we do some self care and i prepare us the cosiest haven for watching movies together,” you were introverted & your boyfriend reciprocates the same energy.

“deal!” you grinned, helping him prepare the rest of the ingredients.

little did you know that today was going to be even more special, it’s about time you were just his girlfriend. itachi has something rather too special to share with you tonight. 💍

"I'm going to propose to yn," Eddie tells Dustin smiling and Dustin is so happy that his two favourite people are going to be married.

Eddie and yn had been together for a while now, almost two years and it was because of Dustin that they got together in the first place.

Yn was his babysitter and his mother even when he was fifteen didn't like him home alone so yn would come over and keep him company, they would watch movies, gossip about high school, etc.

One Friday he accidentally left his backpack at Hellfire and Eddie brought it to his house, yn was there, opened the door and when Eddie saw her and she saw him that was it, they were both smitten.

They got to know each other and were head over heels in love with each other.

"I'm going to do it tonight after Hellfire Henderson". He brings out the ring which is beautiful and Dustin gently picks it up.

"Dude she will love it" Eddie beams and when Eddie goes to get them some soda Dustin tries the ring on curious.

The only trouble is when he tries to get the ring off it gets stuck. Shit! He begins to panic more and more as it won't move.

Eddie freezes when he sees Dustin trying to prize off the ring and he swears.

"What the fuck? Why are you wearing the ring dude? Can you get it off?" Dustin shakes his head helplessly.

"It was just really beautiful and I wanted to try it"

"Fuck!".

Over the next hour, Eddie tries to prize the ring of with butter, ice water and then soap, they even try peanut butter (that one was a long shot)

Nothing works.

It's getting to the point that Eddie is increasingly distressed and to make matters worse yn comes in. Normally he's always happy to see his princess but he's trying to hide the ring so she doesn't see.

"What's going on?" She asks him and Dustin who both have guilty looks on their faces and Eddie is hiding Dustin who is hiding his hand behind his back.

"Uh," Christ think of something Eddie think.

Dustin speaks first.

"I have a ring stuck on my finger". Eddie swears, he really doesn't want his girl to see it, he wants it to be a surprise.

"Can I see it?" She asks curious.

"No!" Dustin and Eddie say at the same time and she is surprised.

"It's uh, a surprise princess" she raises an eyebrow and nods.

"I'll phone the hospital, tell them we are coming in, they'll help".

Eddie nods.

"Okay, fine but you can't see it, princess, here" he tosses an oven glove so Dustin can put his hand in it and she can't help but be overcome by giggles by then.

Then Dustin complains his hand is too sweaty and he prizes the oven glove off in the van and as Eddie was driving he couldn't say no.

She stops giggling as she sees the beautiful ring, an engagement ring and tears pool in her eyes.

"Oh, Eddie", he grumbles and glares at Dustin.

"You little butthead, I wanted this to be a surprise". Dustin blushes and she frowns.

"Eddie baby, don't be mean to Dustin" he sighs and as they park at the hospital he ruffles Dustin's hair.

She throws her arms around him.

"Oh, Eddie. It's beautiful" he smiles and kisses her forehead.

"Beautiful ring for my beautiful princess" she wipes her eyes as he says this.

"Can I make a quick phone call first to my mom? She will be panicking where I am" Dustin asks and they nod taking him in.

Dustin doesn't phone his mom though, he Phones Lucas to ask him to tell The Hellfire club that their help is needed.

He will make sure Eddie and yn get their perfect proposal.

They are seen by the doctor and thankfully she manages to get the ring off. Eddie is visibly relieved, Dustin's finger is a bit swollen but he's fine.

Afterwards, Dustin takes Eddie to the side and they speak quietly. She wonders what it is about?

They head to their home and as they enter Eddie covers her eyes.

"Eddie? What?". When he removes his hands she sees the living area decorated with candles and rose petals.

Their song is playing and when she turns back round to Eddie he's on one knee and smiling.

She gasps and he smiles.

"Yn, you are the love of my life, you make my life better, you are everything to me and you're the only woman I want to be with in this life and the next forever. I love you. Will you marry me?"

Sobbing she nods.

"Yes! Yes". She kisses Eddie and suddenly The Hellfire boys come out clapping and she beams.

She can't wait to spend the rest of her life with him.

“Woohoo! That was awesome!” Vigilante cheered as the last of the implosions faded out. 

The team had been sent out to take care of a facility suspected of distributing what supply of the butterfly fluid was left. You were sent with them as a consultant on alien tech, having worked at LexCorp prior to ARGUS. Everyone, except for Vigilante, had been slightly off put by your personality. Or rather, what they saw as a lack of personality. You tended to be monotonous, every word out of your mouth thought through with careful consideration. 

You were logical, methodical, and rational. Everything that Vigilante wasn’t. Which was why the two of you had been partnered when the group split. 

“We make a great team!” He declared as he helped you toss your supplies back in the van.

“Yes.”

The others shook their heads at how excited he was, but he went on. “We work so well together, we should get married!” 

Everyone, but you, did a double take and shouted outrages at the insane man.

“Yea, sure.” 

You tried to climb into the van, ignoring the shouting the others were doing, when a gentle tug on your wrist made you turn back around. Vigilante pulled off his mask and put his glasses on, staring at you with wide green eyes. “No, I mean it!” He got down on one knee, holding your right hand in both of his.

“Dude!” “Seriously?” “Are you crazy?” The others were even louder than before. 

Like before, both you and Vigilante ignored them.

“Will you marry me?” You looked down at him and blinked once because you already answered him. But you supposed he wanted to ask while kneeling, so you answered him again. “Yes.” 

“WHAT THE FUCK?!” More obscenities from the others, also ignored as Vigilante jumped up. “Really?” 

Was this some sort of test? Answer him three times? “Yes. We’re not even married yet and you’re already ignoring me.” The slight twinge at the corners of your mouth looked to him like the widest, most beautiful, smile he’d ever seen. He held your face in both hands and dived in for a kiss. 

It was short, but loving, and actually the most electrifying kiss you’d ever experienced (not that that was much…). You stood there, smiling at each other, for a few seconds before more raucous shouts ruined the moment. 

You finally, finally!, turned to the others. “We were partnered together for a reason in the first place. We cover each other's weaknesses.” “Yea!” “It stands to reason we make a good couple through that same logic.” “That’s what I said!” “You did.” 

“You can’t be serious?” Economos asked as you and Vigilante climbed into the van. 

“Have you ever known me not to be serious?” 

You had worked with Economos on a number of occasions in the past, you even considered him a friend. It made sense that he was the first to recover. 

“Well no. But, him? How does that make any sense?”

You glanced at Adrian, as you would now call him, sitting next to you with a giant smile on his face, practically preening, then back at Economos.

“I already answered that. Plus, if you think about it, if he’s ever caught by the authorities, I have the skills and connections to keep him out of prison. Besides,” you looked at Adrian again and smiled at him. “I’ve always wanted a personal assassin.” 

“Oh! I would totally kill for you!” 

Economos shook his head, what the fuck? Maybe you guys were a perfect couple?
