back at it with knitting practice 🧶

did this all by myself in like 3 days

for this hat I tried the magic loop for the decreases but it did not feel magical. and then I tried to do 2 circulars which was also kinda finicky. just wanted to try out options other than dpn.

so yeah I can knit now:) also signed up for a first-timer summer tee class in May woo~

A day for finishing projects. First up, a plain but functional knit beanie, for charity:

Details: Caron One Pound, “Midnight Blue,” size 8 needles (circular and dpn). Mistake Rib is my favorite.

More importantly, the blanket I crocheted for my daughter is finally all DONE:

Details: Cascade 220 Superwash, Gold Fusion and Dark Violet, size F crochet hook. Identical (save for colors used) to the blanket I crocheted for my son.

Both completed just in time for the 100° F weather forecast tomorrow….

Another basic knit beanie for the donation beanie pile!
