Got wondering about the end of Princess Jellyfish/Jellyfish Princess this morning and honestly, I’m glad that Tsukimi and Kuronosuke end up together—since the anime was left on a cliffhanger.

Also glad that I reminded me of Tangled’s ending jsjsjsgdi.

Maybe I’ll save up some money to get the complete collection. I do want it, since I still feel it’s really good LBGT rep.

princess jellyfish is absolutely queer media to me

for me the vibes are truly "she doesn't like men but he isnt a man"

one character feels like she is forcing herself to be romantically interested in men, that her rampant discomfort with men isnt just inexperience or awkwardness but complete disinterest.

the other character routinely crossdresses and uses she/her pronouns in public, finds comfort and safety in feminine spaces and being perceived as a woman. she finds some jellyfish weirdo with crushing anxiety in the streets and goes "hell yeah thats what im talking about"

you know how kuronosuke gets all panicked and embarrassed when he realizes he has a crush on tsukimi because all the women he has been with have been model looking femmes? to me that is peak queer panic, he wasnt the son of a politician with a panic- he was kuronosuke and kurako with a crush on a closeted lesbian

I had so many dreams last night, they’ve been playing in my brain as I do things. We got:

-Befriending Felix ML as he took the form of Blanc chat and used his power solely to nonverbal-ily insult the two leads. -Kuronosuke giving make up tips to Tsukimi and even doing her make up and Tsukimi just being like ‘how did I deal with this at the beginning of our relationship?” and Kuro jsut went: oh hon you turned to stone.

Okay for the longest time I was like "I wanna cosplay again but I have no clue who" but now I have a whole lineup.

• Elliot from Stardew Valley. Throwing this one together for Halloween as all my friends are going out together as Stardew Valley NPCs. Should be fun! (My wife will go as Leah. tbh I havent played much SDV but my wife said it works because in-game Elliot and Leah are friends. Cute.)

•Bee from Bee and Puppycat. Just love her outfits! Idk which one to choose. Gonna do this one hopefully for Tekko next summer with my friend going as Deckard!

•Morton from The Owl House (random side character. I just think I look like him and I like his mint green shirt and frog necklace, heh.) Probably would do this one at the local con in the spring.

•Raine and Eda couple cosplay with my wife. I'd be Raine, she'd be Eda. This is more hypothetical, a "someday maybe" thing and not a planned thing.

•Kuronosuke from Princess Jellyfish. So many iconic looks. Heavily relate to being a ~beautiful male princess~. Hell yeah.

It's only Konnosuke and Kuronosuke, I just picked a name that starts with K and ends with -suke. You can play around with it if you like, tho.
