World Acclimatizer

Also known as an ‘Acclimaitzer’

These help people move to other planets by aiding them in adapting to either living in space or living on different planets. World Acclimatizers often work closely with primary care doctors, and are extremely well-versed in non-earthly sicknesses and the effects space has on the human body. Realtors from other planets will always refer their clients to an Acclimatizer if the house is located on another planet.

Planetary Humanitarian

Planetary Humanitarians promote natural and peaceful development in other planets. These people typically advocate for limited human interaction with other life, some even going as far as to never stepping off earth. Planetary Humanitarians tend to dislike Civilization Examiners.

Cybernaut

Cybernauts work with techspace (technology relating to space) engineers to test out products. These people are often pretty popular in the media sphere because, as I mentioned earlier, many engineers are inclined to sponsor them. Cybernauts can frequently be seen in AR Gaming hubs and Cyber parkour arenas (more about those in the tiktok linked to this post)

Cybernetic Designer

Cybernetic body parts are designed by these people. These parts are not designed to look realistic like the prosthetic parts we see today. Most designers specialize in a body part, the most popular one being the left arm. Cybernetic designers are not licensed in creating full body AI androids, but they can create parts for androids.

Android Engineer

Android Engineers obviously do have some sort of license to make androids, but there are different tiers to an android making license:

Limited 2D Design: Very similar to character ai or j.ai bots, these bots do not have a physical form and can only be spoken to through text. They may have voices or a 2D body.

AR Immersive Experience: Like love and deepspace but with AR, you can feel, hear, and taste the android only through AR goggles. Some android engineers make their own goggles to allow their customers to feel a more personalized experience with new features. Why is this a completely different tier from 2D design? There's more room for corruption both mentally and digitally (hacking). The AI that makes the bots act so human can make the bot become too sentient, which could make them want to break free from the simulation.

Small Non-Human Physical Design: Most people with this license make android pets. Dogs are obviously the most popular, but jelly fish and vampire squids are popular these days. This license requires more training than the AR experience degree because these androids exist in the physical world.

Non-Human Physical Design: Designers with this license are not always involved in the abstract or purely artistic sphere. Many make hyper realistic android animals to blend in with the environment to either monitor species development, observe other planet-life in a non-invasive way, or encourage certain behaviors in animals. Even if the creature is not considered large, designers who plan to enter this field of design must earn this license because of this job requires complex AI design and ultra realistic visuals.

Non-Interactive Human Design: Designers with this tier do not create androids with crazy complex AI models. These androids are often displayed in museums, and are no where near sentient enough to even speak outside of a few lines, if that.

Life-like Interactive Human Design: This is the highest tier. People with this license often advocate for equality amongst humans and androids. Anyone with this license should exercise caution when making their androids, as talented designers can make androids that are so indistinguishable from humans that they become acknowledged as civilians rather than 'product'. Reports against designers with these license are taken extremely seriously.

Civilization Examiners

I'm planning to have a DR with this job kekekeke. I'll tell y'all storytimes if I can get myself to focus on shifting instead of scripting 😞

There's two kinds of civilization examiners: public or non-public. Public examiners assist journalists and researchers after living for days, weeks, months, or even years on a different planet. They collect data like plants, animals, environmental samples, and most importantly, get as much information as possible about other civilizations. Civilization Examiners are required to be at least semi- decent artists because they need to be able to draw what they see. They are required to come back with information about the civilization's culture, religious customs, traditions, language, fashion, appearance, parenting style, government, and more importantly, alliance potential.

edit: I forgot to talk abt non-public examiners 😭 non-public examiners work for the government and are apart of the CIA. Public examiners research about alliance potential, but not nearly as intensely as gov examiners.

dreamscape station dr summary

date: april 9, 2024

I'll be posting occasionally about this DR now and then, not super often tho bc I plan to keep most of it a secret till the script game for it is finished! Haven't started on the websites yet, but I will next month after I delete all the sophrosyne websites.

To get to DreamScape, the realm of dreams, you'll need to find and take the DreamScape train. Everyone who's used my script to get here will get a cute lil complimentary train ticket!

The ticket is slightly metallic and grants you access to the DreamScape train. Show this ticket to the conductor when he comes by, and he'll get you premium seats!

What kinds of people will you find on the train? Well, not everyone is going to be a person per say. Similar to Realmwalker Library (aka, my shifting library DR), not everyone will have a human-like appearance. Every passenger on the DreamScape train, though, is a reality shifter-- just like you. I recommend talking to everyone to either form a team or listen to their stories!

Oh wait, before you go, you should prepare a few things first. It's important to adequately prepared for your journey through DreamScape, not only to make your stay comfortable, but to stay safe. I'll talk about this in another post!

Don't worry too much though, DreamScape isn't exactly the most dangerous place in the world. But, there is a realm that is, and if you're unlucky, you'll stumble upon an entry way to it.

Moving on, DreamScape is pretty similar to the backrooms, but its a lot safer, cuter, and prettier. Know the rules, and you'll always stay in this realm. Some places are a little unstable, in these cases, it's important to stay grounded. Don't panic and make sure you keep track of the time.

Some stops will be stable! These places typically have shops and more people(?) than the unstable ones. I suggest trading or buying items in adventurer shops. Stable places also almost always has some sort of hotel! Feel free to rest there if you'd like. You can also rest in the DreamScape train! The conductor has his ways of making sure everyone's safe, including their belongings.

To get back on the DreamScape train, wait at any train station that looks fine. Make sure it's not damaged or falling apart, otherwise, you'll get on the wrong train.

LMAOOOO they are hot aren't they? These guys are major characters in this DR. There's different types of them too, not just those ones! They live in caves and typically are affiliated with a dark element. Different types have different secondary elements. They are the ones creating the creatures attacking the western front. Why? Are they doing this because they resent humans? Or do they want to bring down the Eudora Empire?

Maybe they left something behind, nobody even knows that these beings are the ones making those things. Anyway, I just realized I haven't said some of their names. Look for Echreau (Eck-ree-you), Astreth (Ass-treh-th), and Alemi (Ah-leh-me) in any documents you find. When you shift here, these creatures will not show up in any common library. Not even deep in Aethergarde's library. You have to look deeper. Remember, I told you that they lived in caves.

rules of dreamscape

I wouldn’t say these are rules necessarily; these are just things you should avoid doing to make sure your stay in DreamScape is as safe as possible. Just like this reality, DreamScape has its pros and cons.

1. Don’t jump off the train.

I know what you’re thinking, who tf would jump out a moving train???? You’re right, no sane person would do so. There’s legends of what exactly happens when you jump off the train, but most think you’ll enter NightScape. Nobody wants to go there, but for those that do, jumping off the train is an easy way to get there.

2. Don’t follow black cats or creatures with dilated eyes.

DreamScape works hard to keep their realm free of any malicious entity, but occasionally, some creatures manage to get through DreamScape’s strict security protocols. Not all black cats are untrustworthy, as long as their eyes aren’t dilated, they’re at least 80% safe to be around. Creatures with extremely dilated eyes are too far gone, and need to be avoided at all costs. What they’re saying or doing isn’t of their own volition.

3. Don’t linger around in the caboose of the train.

You can take a small peek, but try not to stare for too long. The conductor tries to keep the train as safe as possible, but since the last NightScape attack, the conductor couldn’t scrub the remnants of filth from the creatures completely from this area of the train.

4. Don’t use damaged train stations.

Those stations don’t lead you to DreamScape. For an extra measure of safety, look for the conductor’s certification plate. It should be somewhere on the walls.

The most dilapidated stations lead to NightScape, but others lead to different realms I don’t have much information on. Maybe others do though, so make sure you talk to other passengers in the train.

5. Don’t go to NightScape.

NightScape is the exact opposite of DreamScape. These two realms used to be at war with each other, now, DreamScape simply tolerates NightScape.

6. Don’t go to undocumented areas.

Undocumented areas aren’t documented for a reason. Illusionaries, people who explore unknown areas and write about them for the benefit of DreamScape’s community, traverse these lands and write about them. You can find rare artifacts and ruins in these regions, but is the cost of your sanity worth it? If an area is entirely undocumented, even as an Illusionary, you should weigh your options carefully.

7. Choose your travel mates wisely.

Wow, shocker, ik. Some people are more susceptible to NightScape’s callings or aren’t nearly as observant as they need to be. These people will really weigh you down, and it’ll make your experience here more annoying than thrilling. Travel mates who aren’t suitable to explore DreamScape may get lost. If they do, file a missing person’s case with an Illusionary. There is no guarantee that your teammate will be the same person as they once were, or if they’ll even return.

I hope there’s no grammar mistakes, I’m too lazy to look through this post 😭 anyway, I hope this was at least somewhat interesting, and gives you a small teaser on what kind of place this DR is!

what you'll need in dreamscape

It’s important to have everything you need before exploring DreamScape, though, I think it’s more important to know some of the rules in this realm. Don’t wanna end up somewhere bad, do you?

First, you'll need a bag-- I recommend a backpack or something that allows you to use both of your hands freely. You can find more useful forms of storage in DreamScape, so don't fret over your first bag too much.

Always wear a watch. Always. In some places, time moves faster or slower. Stay there for too long, and you’ll forget who you are and where you came from. A good limit is about an hour per stop, but you can stay longer in places where the realm is more stable. Stable places often have a bustling civilization; many shifters decide to permanently reside in some of these places.

Bring ear plugs of some kind, but make sure they aren’t able to play audio of any kind. Sometimes, you may hear a few faint whispers talking about something so enticing that you can’t simply walk away. In these cases, force yourself to use the earplugs. Don’t worry too much though, it’s not likely you’ll encounter these whispers.

It’s heavily recommended to wear clothing or equipment that would help you move around. This could be anything from hiking shoes to levitation devices.

This is optional, but travel with a group of friends. I don’t recommend traveling with pets as they can sense things you cannot. This may prolong your stay in certain places where you should be leaving as soon as possible. Some beings like to play tricks. There’s less of them in DreamScape, but you may encounter a few during your stay.

Has anyone ever tried channeling? I watched a video on how to channel someone from your DR on TikTok awhile ago, and I may have unintentionally(?) channeled Eros from my Alruna DR

As I was watching the video, I did all the steps in my head. I affirmed I was safe, that I would channel who I intended to, then thought of him, I don’t remember what else I did, but suddenly I heard this almost teasing, but deep and raspy ‘Hi~’ in my head. I tried to push my thoughts of him away because I felt like I wasn’t really ready to properly channel a person, but he kept persisting I think

The moment I registered the ‘hi’ I got chills and I felt like I knew it was him? Maybe I’ve just gone crazy

This whole ‘encounter’ was really in-character of him tbh. He’s supposed to be possessive and kind of clingy, plus he’s also supposed to be the kind of person to tease someone he likes

I wanted to try it again but I couldn’t find the same video, and I feel like I can’t find any information on how to actually channel someone so I’ve just given up

Okay I just looked it up again and found the exact video I watched before (I think) I’m scared.. idk if I should try it again or not

trends in a futuristic world

includes beauty trends and augmented reality stuff

Glass Hair

Glass hair would probably be more popular for runway models rather than the average person. I think iridescent or glow-in-the-dark hair would be more of trend because it's more flashy. Fashion styles would arise from this trend such as celestialcore, mirrorpunk, and glowstreet.

Celestialcore fashion

People who wear celestialcore would likely have iridescent hair and would wear flowy silk clothing that shimmer in the light. Add ons to micro skin repairing bots in your bloodstream would make your skin automatically look incredibly dewy. Holograms that make small pixies circle around you or animate angel wings on your back. Hologram software is less expensive and more convenient (because the wings can phase through objects, physical wings cannot). Physical wings would require the person to get wing attachments to their back, but it'd allow you to fly. Stylized eye contacts that make the irises seem as if they're jelly or glowing would also be a common styling choice. Voice box adjustments (to use these adjustments, you'd download software to the tiny medical bots in your bloodstream) that make your voice sound slightly echoy would also be relevant to this style. Something that'd be a must have when it comes to celestialcore fashion would either be no legs, cybernetic legs, or levitating heels/shoes. Outfits would consist of white and pastel colors.

Mirrorpunk

Imagine aespa's savage photoshoot, black sleek clothing but with the sharp and almost melty looking silver jewelry. Aespa's drama photoshoot would also kinda fit, but it'd need more silver jewelry. Outfits would often consist of crimson, black, white, and silver. Some people that wear this style incorporate more silver elements, these people eventually coined the term 'Mirrormelt', which officially became a substyle of mirrorpunk. Many people who wear mirrorpunk swap out one or more of their limbs with a cybernetic limb that has the same aesthetic as the sharp silver jewelry (idk how to word it, i hope you know what I'm talking abt T-T)

GlowStreet

Essentially street fashion but with glow-in-the-dark elements. Loose or baggy clothing that is considered casual with glow-in-the-dark streaks of color usually in the hair and other parts of the outfit. I don't think images are necessary for this one.

Animated Tattoos

A flower blooming from a bud would probably be one of the most popular design choices. Flower petals falling down arms or legs would also be another popular choice. Animated tattoo sleeves would look like a full on moving painting, but they'd probably be pretty expensive. I think I mentioned this before on tiktok, so if you think you've seen this idea already, it may have been from me.

I think people who like to dress in darker styles would have animated eye tattoos on their bodies that would open and close.

Another cool idea would be color changing tattoos!

AR and Books

Okay so obviously physical books aren't going to be a thing in a high-tech cyberprep world-- but do you know what would be a thing? Augmented reality story games. AR is essentially VR except you can feel, smell, and taste everything as you would in real life. Shifting but with technology. Imagine games like Detroit Become Human and FNAF but in this format-- wouldn't it be a hit? I think it would.

I still think that e-books would be a thing, but I could definitely imagine that some of the most popular chapters would get AR adaptations.

To access an AR game or chapter, you must go to an AR Arena to rent a suit and the appropriate equipment.

alruna dr plot | part II : alodian culture

Today’s post is going to be specifically about the Alodias Empire, empyreanism, and food. Kinda boring… but I think it’s important to get all this shit out the way before getting to the cool stuff.

The Alodias Empire is considered to, debatably, be the most powerful empire. Others may say it’s the Umbrian Empire due to their military strength.

As mentioned in the last post about the plot, this empire’s largest export is in magitech. The most well-known and prestigious schools are located in the Alodias Empire, but the capital, Wyndrial City, is known to house some of the most talented mages and magic schools. Tourism also brings in a lot of wealth because of the intricate and unique architecture.

The most practiced religion is Empyreanism. Empyreanism is a polytheistic religion that focuses on twelve gods (yes all of them are Greek Gods, I was too lazy to come up with names).

Some virtues that Empyreans follow are:

-All followers should pursue knowledge, regardless of status and gender

- People of higher status should help those who are in need

- Celebrate Nightmyrrth to honor Selene, the Goddess of the Moon, Protector of Hidden Civilizations and the Night Sky

- Always treat those older than you with respect and kindness

- Introspection, meditation, and self-awareness

- Respect to the environment, meat isn’t outlawed to consume or anything, but instead, it is usually not the main course of the meal like how it is in American cuisine.

- Strive to be skilled and passionate

- Strive for elegance in actions, speech, and appearance, as well as seek to embody grace in their interactions with others.

Most followers, especially elves, favor the Goddess of the Moon most because of her role in a lot of tales. She’s often known as the Protector of lost civilizations because she helped rebuild the Alodias Empire and protected elves until they were strong enough to hold their own (will talk about this sometime in a tales post <3).

Because of this heavy favoritism for Selene (moon goddess/protector of lost civilizations), Nightmyrth is the most extravagantly celebrated holiday (it’s essentially Christmas except the aesthetic is more ethereal). Nightmyrth is celebrated in Decimbrius (December) which is the month of Selene. On Nightmyrth eve, families pray to receive good luck, and children often eat a dessert called Melrie. It consists of very finely ground ice, mixed with creamed unicorn milk, topped with mild fruits, especially Yuva. Nectar from winter flowers are drizzled on top of the cream, ice, and fruits. It’s served in a hand sized bowl that is charmed cold on the inside. A common drink eaten throughout the main course meal during Decimbrius is creamed unicorn milk smoked with kayanise candles (imagine milk with a hint of black tea). The drink is called kayan milk.

I genuinely have no idea how I came up with this, but it was for a very specific purpose lmao 😭😭

Lifa gummies are gummies you receive from the DR portals tab; you get one when you confirm that you want to shift to that specific DR.

Pop the candy into your mouth and chew, it only takes one chew and you’ll be in your DR in a mere moment!

I came up with this whole mechanism because I didn’t want to immediately shift after clicking ‘yes’ on the ‘are you sure you wanna shift here rn?’ pop up. I wanted to be able to settle in a comfortable position and then shift without the stress of a timer. I also wanted to associate different flavors and candy to my DRs, it rlly helps with motivation.

I was going to do a whole post where I went through which DR had what Lifa gummies, but honestly I really don’t think it’s interesting enough? Idk lmao

cloud cafe

This cafe would have extremely soft and realistic cloud furniture that would slightly hover over the ground. The cafe would be located on a manmade cloud, and it'd be popular date place for younger couples. Cloud hotels would also be a thing, but they'd be more expensive than your average hotel.

menu:

crepe cakes: vanilla, pistachio, butterfly pea, strawberry, ube, milk, coconut, blueberry

boba tea: taro, winter melon, matcha, jasmine, lychee, rose, lavender, coconut, coffee

tea: butterfly pea tea, wisteria tea, jasmine tea, sakura tea, and white tea

sago: honeydew, cantaloupe, matcha, matcha + red bean, strawberry, mango, raspberry

hwachae: with alcohol, without alcohol

bingsu: matcha + red bean, taro, ube, fruit fusion, honeydew

souffle pancakes: blueberry, strawberry, cream, butter, lavender

croffles: plain, ice cream, strawberry, blueberry, almond, dark chocolate, blackberry, raspberry

furniture:

bubble cafe/bubble club

Floating bubbles hover around the cafe filled with drinks. Bubble clubs have alcohol bubbles hovering around; bubble cafes have non-alcoholic bubbles. Sanitization is something I was worried about in terms of this idea.. I initially wanted to have all kinds of colorful bubbles floating around for people to stick straws into and drink, but that's also hella gross.

Instead, you can rent rooms and order bubbles off the menu. Bubbles would be delivered to the room through a vent-like system, bubbles would float around the room but will repel the walls and floor. To capture a bubble, you can simply try to wave over the bubble or use a clear sphere type device to trap the bubble inside of it. You'd essentially take one half in one of your hands, and the other half in the other, then you'd slam the two halves together when a bubble is between your hands.

kinda cool right? I'd imagine that this would be pretty popular with kids.

You could stick a magnet provided by the cafe/club under the bottom half of the sphere to make the bubble stick to the bottom. From there, you could add toppings like sprinkles, cream, fruit, edible glitter, popping boba, yogurt, into the sphere.
