"Keep it up and I'm going to bite you," Dazai warns.

It's supposed to be a serious threat. Well, as serious as the situation calls for. Ranpo is sitting in his lap, back to his chest. Dazai, for the record, was trying to do his work for once, but Ranpo decided it was the perfect time to play a game.

And Dazai doesn't mind that Ranpo is using his old console nor that they're being really noisy. But they're not staying still, no matter how much Dazai asks them to. And he usually wouldn't care at all, but this is important enough to make him work, after all.

"Jokes on you, I'm into that," Ranpo replies nonchalantly.

"Then I'll throw you to the floor."

"If that's the game you wanna play..."

"Ranpo-san."

The change in his tone makes Ranpo sigh. He turns off the console without bothering with saving his game and snuggles against Dazai's body.

"You're not fun at all."

"Mhm." He presses a kiss to Ranpo's temple. "I'm normally a lot of fun, mind you."

"Nope. No fun."

personally i think darker colors suit me really well. I wear a lot of black and maroon and dark green. Sometimes i'll wear yellow and my mom says it suits me, but it's just not a color i like lol

anemone - were you ever interested in greek mythology?

yes. i love learning mythologies in general, but there's something about greek mythology specifically that just sucks me in. I used to actually study it when i was in college, but my professor was one of those teachers that's just really hard to be engaged with what they're doing or talking about, so i didn't retain much of the information. :(

in one hand i think dazai has a really weird relationship with touch. he doesn't like it, he doesn't want to be touched, but he somewhat craves it. in the other, i think ranpo might be a bit more physical with his affection, so when it comes down to the two of them it feels like they need to find some common ground. ranpo WOULD take dazai's hand or pat his head or caress him lightly, if only not to overwhelm him, and dazai would think about that for the next three weeks

i hc that nlh feels really strange when activated, like something being ripped out of you or a very cold sensation in your whole body. it has a relation with the prev hc (dazai being aversed to touch people for all the reason he is but also because he can't deactivate no longer human and he doesn't want to rip a part of the people he loves out of them), but like. that's not a problem with ranpo. he only ripped the lie once; with that out of the way, he's not taking anything from him

that thing they did while planning where they didn't say even one complete sentence but understood each other perfectly? they do that often. no one understands shit

you are going to have to rip the fake dating souheki hc out of my cold dead hands. i'm sorry. it hasn't left my mind for a second

but i also think its really funny if they dated for a while and then they broke out in perfectly good terms but no one ever knew until one day idk ranpo says "when i was dating dazai—" and everyone else is like pause. reverse. what

at the end of the day! i'm not even sure if i like them in a romantic way or if i think they're so good friends they might fuck sometimes. the important thing is they need to make everyone around them really confused about what their relationship really is
