How's writing treating you? Having a hard time here, I haven't written Ravio for over I think two years and now it's fighting me. Do you do the whole "frantically reading back old chapters" thing too?

Also, yes absolutely. Sometimes it's for plot points that I'm hazy on, sometimes it's just because I feel like it's been a while and I want to refresh myself, and once (very long ago) it was because I had forgotten that I'd written it.

Why is Paper Crane so tall though? I mean, it'd be funny if it was his materials (a.k.a. the various Sanses) indirectly expressing their year-long frustrations at being short, but I doubt that's the case.

Many reasons actually, the main one was that I wanted to diverge my design from Sans to show that despite being made of them he’s not one. A skeleton is much less complex then let’s say a body full of muscles, skills and nerves. The gathered material to build his body from scratch was way greater the what would fit Sans’s size in general so a tall bean he is~<3 If I could have make one thing differently back in the days, it would have been to change his headshape to make it even clearer but OH WELL. I’m not gonna change that.

lmao do you mean a physical location? No, this would be hosted on tumblr but include both tumblr and twitter users. Though people could also participate via email, I guess.

Things I would like to see in Underverse Season 2 (but are extremely unlikely to actually happen):

WOW this list got longer than I expected

1. You know that T-Rex from those crossover comics with Epictale? BRING IT IN

2. I know for a fact that I’m not the only one who wishes for a meme battle. With the usual memelord.

3. XChara literally going to main Frisk’s home to meet them, and everyone on the street being like “monochrome dude in fantasy armour WTF”. Actually, you know what would be even funnier. Toriel opening that door.

4. The people from the AUs that Dream and Core!Frisk rescued being in the Omega timeline and confused as F- because they have no context about the current situation whatsoever.

5. Reapertale reference. Because Geno is in Underverse now.

6. On a more serious note, it would be interesting if the cast from the main universe met any of the XTale people, especially XPapyrus. He acts like a sweet guy on the surface but there are plenty of things wrong with him too...

7. Core!Frisk being EVERYWHERE, and the general reactions to creepy monochrome child.

8. Error being smug as hell until he realizes that Ink and XGaster are NOWHERE near done.

9. Fresh boss fight

10. Nightmare just can’t figure out what to do at this point because THE MULTIVERSE IS GONE. I guess he’ll take it out on Cross.

11. Cross being lowkey really smug about his new daggers.

12. And speaking of said daggers: “Here, take them.” “What?” “TAKE THEM” Who gives them to him? I dunno.

13. Dream being cute.

14. Frisk’s rainbow SAVE button No-Selling XGaster’s OVERWRITE, and the ensuing chaos.

15. In fact, let’s see XGaster’s reaction to everyone who can potentially override the OVERWRITE.

16. Normal Gaster getting involved because the guy deserves more in his name after that epic sign language dishing he delivered.

17. Error VS Fatal Error. Actually, just Error getting owned.

18. Ink’s vials being used against him. Or better yet, him obtaining a soul and a consciousness. He wants to feel new things? How about CRUSHING GUILT?

19. Level 19 Main Universe(?) Chara.

20. To elaborate, after that stunt in OWNERS (the video) that Sans and Frisk pulled, I can’t imagine it NOT being reflected in their stats in some fashion.

21. Sans with a new fuzzy hoodie. He’s also lowkey smug about it.

22. Frisk deciding to SAVE Xtale and XGaster. Come on, it’s pacifist Frisk, it’s not THAT improbable.

23. Can Ink use his paints to draw pillars of fire? I want pillars of fire.

24. Number XI being canon. And a baby.

I've been wondering, that Paper Crane thing in your merchandise, is that a charm? Also, where do you ship? Because I'm pretty sure we're in different continents and use different currencies.

Um, I don't think that Daruk's Protection can keep out the Twilight of whatever. First of all, if NOTHING can get through it, then how would Link and the others even breathe? And it does nothing to keep the temperature out in the game. I know those are different things, but in general I have the impression that Daruk's Protection can only reflect attacks, not "conditions in the environment"; and the influence of twilight and the dark realm fall under the latter.

Literally the only reason I said it could keep out the Twilight is because the Twilight looks like fog to me, and for some reason my brain categorizes fog as 'a physical thing that can totally be blocked by magic barriers'

You make several valid points about temperature and conditions of the environment though. I'll have to boot up my copy of BotW and go stand in that one never-ending thunderstorm with Daruk's Protection up and running to see if it lets the rain in

I have uploaded the first 8 images before, but that was before I decided some pretty important details about the comic. I won’t be providing a link since everything that post had is here already.

I know there’s a drastic difference in image quality - that’s because for the first few pictures I had a scanner available, and now I don’t. I just take pictures, and then I edit them a bit. I swear the originals look much better.

Now, I’m not much of an artist, and I’ve never made a comic before, but I want to try. I have a plot in mind, and I wanted to do something different than a regular fanfic.

UnderArcana - an Undertale AU by LermisV4

UPDATED VERSION HERE

So... this is my very first attempt at a fan comic. And I must admit, I started it completely on a whim. I’m not very good at drawing people you see. Also I can’t do digital art, and my scanner kind of screws up my drawings here because the finer details are not visible. I have no idea if I’ll ever complete this or when I’ll update next.

UnderArcana is a Persona-inspired AU, though you don’t need to know anything about Persona to read it. Admittedly, I’m still a little fuzzy on the details. But I can say this for sure - escaping the Underground won’t be THAT easy.

At first I wanted to name it ArcanaTale, but then I saw that it was already taken, and then I looked up if some other names were taken... so I ended up with this one. It doesn’t really flow of the tongue that well.

The drawings are done by hand, with pencil and markers. The text parts are done on Power Point, and I take screenshots afterwards. The font is 8bitoperator JVE.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! A comment or reblog to tell me what you think about it is very much welcome!
