Tw: Men
EMO FRIENDLY? I SHOULD'VE STAYED EMO. My first bf broke up with me because I didn't dress like the popular girls and also because I didn't want to kiss him in public 馃拃 (I was 16) and that's when I turned into a lesbian /hj. But tbh my first ever wlw situationship (because, yeaahh, we never got to the "let's date and move in together" part) left me "violently crying, screaming, shaking, throwing up, pulling out my hair, bashing my head into the wall and going apeshit crazy" (not in the good way) I met her the day after my birthday and I cut things off mid January. Now I dress like I want to without caring about being criticized. Sadly, my style is almost the same as the ones I said before, but now that I think about it, my make up and style do vary but most of the time it's inspired by Taylor Momsen.

Thanks for the TW 馃檹
That's so fucked up?? Men are kinda... the worst? Ahh I'm sorry that happened. I think everyone has to have a situationship at least once in their life 馃槄 Although FUCK that. Clear communication is so fucking hot. You wanna be in a relationship? Great. Just wanna hook up? Cool, thanks for letting me know ahead of time. Both are fine and valid, communication is key though. No one asked for my thoughts but there they are 馃
Your style sounds cool! I just... don't have a style. Very loser core (not being mean just that's all I can explain lol) Y'all ever seen the movie Bottoms? 馃拃

I鈥檓 so glad I鈥檓 not the only one who thinks that about the bi Andrew thing; it鈥檚 fucking weird when I see people drawing porn of Andrew and a woman and talking about how hot it is like that鈥檚 a gay man and a woman what鈥檚 hot about that? Ew
Also Lesbians unite lmfao 馃
i completely agree, it just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. there are so many other characters in the series with inexplicit sexualities that people can go wild with, but you're going to put the one canon confirmed gay man with a woman? 馃

Its interesting how its only younger people who'd be against the bi lesbian label, when bisexual elders would gladly accept bi lesbians. Really lets you know how disconnected the sapphic community is from it's history.
yeaahh honestly... most people ive seen that have actually looked into lesbian history support bi lesbians, and i wish more people would do the same instead of just parroting stuff... like even regardless of if they end up supporting it or not. i just wish people could actually look into the history more and Try to understand why others may feel differently on this than they do, instead of just being really reactionary and hateful about it and ending up spreading ahistorical lies about the label (and the community and individual labels altogether).

Alriiight, well i just read an article that explained that Janis being a lesbian was actually a joke, because when Kevin ask her if she's Puerto Rican, she answer him "I'm Lebanese", had that's supposed to means that young Regina was pretty much stupid, and didn't understand the difference between "lesbian" and "Lebanese", so at some point while they were friends, Janis told her that she was Lebanese and Regina understand that she liked girls.
So yeaahh, the whole movie plot, just happens because Regina was a dumb child, and we are not having the goth x popular mean girl trope.

We are having it in our heads lmao

Yeah I'm a trans guy and when i first encountered lesbians using he/Him pronouns, it set off my terf alert tbh. But then I started thinking about how the gay male community uses girl and she/her pronouns sometimes, and it made more sense to me
yeaahh I think it鈥檚 just because as trans guys we do occupy a position where something like that can be a little hard? to grasp at first? Like it was with me just because I pushed back against the idea that he/him could be used for girls since I finally felt like I had escaped being a girl. And part of that is through me using he/him to identify as a guy. I just didn鈥檛 like the connotation that someone who used he/him could be a lesbian because of the way it was like... implying uniformity of gender and invalidating the pronouns? But yup it does make more sense to me now, I just have to get more used to it and separate it from myself
