The Three Jokers (Present Day, Present Time), wannabe successors to the Clown King of Crime long after both he and the Batman had vanished. While the Bat would have his fair share of successors, pretenders to Joker’s throne were viral: anyone willing put on some make-up and go commit very public, very loud crimes was in the running.

Of this expansive group, the Three Jokers (named for the debunked theory regarding multiple men having shared the identity in Batman’s middle period), were some of the most prodigious, rising out of conflicts like the Second War of Jokes and Riddles, and the street-level chaos left behind by the Crisis. They were also, once upon a time, Vivian Vale’s closest friends: Marquis “Joker Jr” Jet, Alexis “Punchline” Kaye”, and the notorious Tabitha “Breathplay” Laurent.

Formerly operating as “Chokehold,” Breathplay rebranded following her stints in Arkham Asylum and Blackgate (rites of passage for any Joker worth their salt) and became something of a sensation. With the rise of social media and recording technology, recordings of supervillain sightings and metahuman activity had become a popular genre for apps like Bill Tockman’s TockTok and Lex Luthor’s Lexverse.

Breathplay was nothing if not a performer; one of the few metahuman Jokers, with aerokinesis and a flair for the dramatic. She’s also known to incite Joker’s less savory fanbase, never going so far as to openly support groups like the Fourth Reich or the Masterman...but pointedly never speaking up against them.

Below is some fun Lex lore *le gasp*

Lex steals Red’s sweaters quite often during the fall and winter seasons. They are comfy and larger on her, making them perfect to wear with leggings or stockings and she doesn’t have to feel like she’s putting too much effort into it.

Red doesn’t mind and more than likely thinks she looks sexy in his clothes. He’s more worried about his jacket never coming back than his sweaters.

Not only does she take Red’s sweaters, but she sneaks away with Axe’s jacket specifically as it is larger and always extremely cozy and warm to sleep under like a blanket. If he’s missing it, he’ll find her in the living room dozing beneath it.

He wouldn’t even dare take it away from her then. He’ll just have to wait until she’s done napping.
