Okay like, first off the SEKAI are kinda. Creepy if you think about it. Like yeah this is the embodiment of your feelings. Or a feeling. School SEKAI is a school because a lot of their issues surround school (Saki not being able to attend, the other three distancing themselves during middle school, etc). MMJ gets stages and VBS gets a city because those are good places for them to perform. None of those are too creepy honestly but then you get to Empty and Wonderland and it’s like. Yeah.

Mafuyu’s SEKAI is just fucking Empty. It’s an endless void with a few random objects here and there. And also a marionette that apparently spawned in when the SEKAI was made. Yeah the thing that triggers Mafuyu’s panic attack in Captive Marionette has been in her SEKAI this entire time. Made from her feelings so it’s justified but like that’s not the most pleasant thing. Also the fact that the embodiment of her feelings is a void and it doesn’t really change is just. Harsh.

And Wonderland like it’s just so full. All the plushies that express how Tsukasa feels and all of his childhood memories and feelings everywhere.

SEKAI created by a single person but shared by many aren’t the most private thing ever. But also just having a world dedicated to your emotions is fucked up in itself ESPECIALLY with the one-creator SEKAI. Because like, that’s you. Don’t like it? Fuck you I guess

On top of that there’s the fact that SEKAI don’t disappear after the owner dies. They’re just there now. Someone submitted this to me ages ago and it’s still sitting in my inbox because I want to wait for the 2nd anniversary fes cards to release because they go into more details about this but like. Yeah. That’s so fucked.

The Virtual Singers especially like they don’t age and don’t despawn ever. SEKAI owner dies or never accesses their SEKAI? Alone forever and there’s nothing they can do about it.

Even in school SEKAI it’s a bit unsettling that they are just locked at high school age when the L/n girls are getting older.

Also like the fact that the virtual singers are fully aware that they are different versions of the main virtual singer is kinda weird when you think about it for long enough. It could be really disturbing they should to into that.

And the environments they exist in. Street SEKAI and Wonderland SEKAI Vsingers are lucky because there’s a lot they can do and the SEKAI are really big. School SEKAI has a lot to do there, but it’s an enclosed space and I’m not sure if they can actually go to the outside areas offsite. It’s good that the Stage SEKAI vsingers like performing because it ain’t like there’s anything else they can do except sit in the backstage areas. And Empty SEKAI has nothing to do AT ALL and the girls have to bring in things to give the vsingers something to stimulate them.

Also like the fact they all take from the personalities and emotions of their SEKAI owners is so so disturbing if you think about it for more than three seconds. Like yeah this thing is based on you. It has your personality and will reflect you feelings at times. Like I know the point is that the vocaloids are basically counsellors but like. Damn. Especially for Mafuyu and Tsukasa because those Virtual Singers are just based on aspects of themselves (with a few things from their friends thrown in) which is genuinely really disturbing like I would not like that at all. Also Tsukasa has the plushies as well which are usually used to show how he feels about other people (eg: usachan being Saki as a child and him needing to cheer her up, the cat and dog recreating his and Rui’s conflict in Wonder Halloween).

(Someone sent an ask about the vsingers and who they are derived from in each Sekai hopefully I can finish it this week unless I run out of data)

The idea of the SEKAI changing and the vsingers changing to reflect your emotions and such has just always stuck out to me because sometimes they change to help you and sometimes they change to just copy whatever is happening to you and I think it does whatever it thinks is best for the situation but it’s kinda fucked to think about.

Oh and Miku can wipe your memory that’s definitely one of the creepiest things. Like the unit leaders have met multiple times at this point and never remember it. Minori and Kohane are best friends and have been repeatedly introduced to the concept that they both have SEKAI and repeatedly been mindwiped after that. They could do something with that. So how effective is this mindwiping anyway? If it’s used too many times on one person will it start to affect them (anyone here seen Gravity Falls?)

Also on the topic of memory. Remember in the WxS main story when Tsukasa straight up doesn’t remember significant parts of his childhood but Miku and KAITO do and then drop hints about these memories? Or in immiscible discord when KAITO dumps the truth about Mafuyu’s mother on her when Mafuyu wasn’t aware of it herself (also KAITO had barely been there for any significant time and this is his FIRST interaction with Mafuyu that he drops all this on her). The SEKAI seem to just know any feelings you repress or ignore or forget and I know the SEKAI is like a abstract realisation of thought and feeling so ofc it knows these but it’s still a bit. Weird, I guess. They should flesh this out more.

Oh supposedly you can die in the SEKAI. Possibly by force since there’s one card story where some of the WxS members nearly fall out the flying train and it’s treated as a genuine threat, but also we don’t know for sure. Heavily implied that you can die in the SEKAI from not fulfilling basic needs (eating or drinking), since Mafuyu considers disappearing into the SEKAI at one point and it doesn’t seem like she took those with her nor do they naturally exist in the SEKAI. Side note what happens if someone dies in SEKAI? Does it kick them out like it does when their phone dies or dows it just leave them there?

Don’t even get me started on untitled like it’s another embodiment of feelings is actually a bit disturbing thing but as far as we know you get one untitled. That’s it. Have you seen the lyrics on some of these (also out of universe note, the producers weren’t given huge amounts of information about the characters and story so like. Accuracy of the lyricw varies). Kuyamu to Kaite Mirai particularly. Like. What happens if Mafuyu actually does manage to make significant recovery? Is she just stuck with “I want to die, I want to disappear, there’s nothing left for me here” (did i get the lyric right?).

Oh my god I almost forgot about stage sekai. Endless void :( Of stages :). At least they have something to do there, I guess? Also can we talk about the audience that’s there let’s talk about the audience okay I think it might be an instance of the writing leaning on the 4th wall and maybe the audience is the virtual show audience with the little box avatar things or maybe there’s an actual audience and if so where the fuck do they go when there’s not performances? Oh and the fact that vlives are considered canon which means every sekai just has these little box people going in and out to watch them sing that’s just another weird thing.

And apparently there’s people in street SEKAI too like MEIKO talks about buying things in town and stuff even though most of the buildings look abandoned?

This isn’t even psychological horror but. Ghosts real. Only Mafuyu can see them. Okay maybe you could make that into more of a psychological horror thing.

Anyone remember when Akito’s fragment sekai gave him amnesia? Or the fact that characters have met themselves in fragment sekai.

- did their makeup with a red pen in class because they weren't paying attention with no previous knowledge about anything make up related (Rui — Me)

- broke a finger by booping a wall (Kanade — Me)

- drinks 3 cups of coffee to "calm down" (Toya — my mom)

- Ruffled a random stranger's hair once and left without a word (Ichika to Kanade — Me)

- split a viper in half with a shovel once (Airi — a friend)

- lived off of exclusively Oreo Crunchy Pillows for an entire week (Kanade/Nene/Rui — me)

- tied a firework to a cat and sent it flying on New Year's. You can imagine how that turned out (Rui — my grandpa)

- blew up half his friend's arm in the process (Rui — my grandpa)

- put whisky in a juice box (probably future Saki — my grandpa)

- wrote a poem about failing an exam instead of studying for that same exam. Then liked it and composed a piano piece accompanying it. (Mafuyu — me)

- does a satanic ritual involving possible unorthodox orgy like behaviour to pass an exam. Every time. (An, Akito, Tsukasa — my class)

- moans during exams and watches as the teacher scolds the people around them (Mizuki — me)

- made an imaginary friend out of a broken light bulb that they named Segismundus that they used to justify their crimes because he told them to kill people (Rui and Mizuki — a friend and I)

- got lost in the forest during an excursion. Ate a horsetail because she was hungry (vbs, particularly An — a friend of mine)

- slaps people's asses during running sessions in P.E (Mizuki — me)

- fell under a piano and after not being found by their parents for 10 minutes passed out from overexhaustion and just fell asleep right there (Toya — me)

- "Yeah but like... How do carrots eat?" "Dude we're literally in sixth form." "But do you know?" "...no" (An and Akito — two guys I overheard in my school once)

- drank mom's perfume as a dare and refused to admit it was good (Tsukasa — my brother)

- has little tear stains all over her homework because she cried while doing it (An — a friend)

i think we ALSO need to talk about this unit thematically (the sequel)

(someone needs to make me stop talking about Project Sekai Units)

i think this unit is very obviously the counterpart to mirai toshi (does that make them parallel units??? like how leo-vs, mmj-vbs, and niigosho are??? uhhhhhh idk im getting off topic)

but also i think this lineup is interesting because of the shared themes i can think of off the top of my head between minori touya and tsukasa

the first thing that comes to mind is their passion and how thats central to their characters. minori with idols and how we know what happens when she loses her hope to become one in the 2022 april fools au, while for touya and tsukasa, they (according to theirselves) "saved" eachother— without tsukasa, touya's passion for music would cease to exist, and without touya, tsukasa would've given up on his passion to make others smile.

i think i need to elaborate on the reason why touya's passion here is music because that just became a big thing with the first concerto which was the last event we had— so without spoiling too much, touya had genuine passion for classical music and actually wanted to be like his dad at one point, but it got complicated with yknow. harumichi. being a guy. that exists. and that isn't. the best of parents. yknow.

if touya hadn't met tsukasa, then touya wouldn't have stood up to his dad, meaning touya would've never met akito, meaning touya would've never continued his innate passion for music. that's basically what i wanted to say, yeah

so then another thing i think these 3 can be grouped together on is their work ethic. minori is always extremely hardworking, continuing to strive to be an idol even after getting rejected time and time again. uhm.

when it comes to hard work i think i don't need to explain tsukasa. towards the phoenix at the sky's edge is an event that exists.

and the first concerto is basically the same event but in a different coat of paint. so, erm. tota's not free, either.

idk this is more of me going on a tangent than me having a clear idea like mirai toshi. but maybe i am onto something

Day 358! Had another vbs dream so story time!

TLDR: I unintentionally became VBS’s assistant during their stay in the US, and promised to help them win a competition that would help them afford the flight back home. (This one is looooong, buckle in)

The setting was this fine arts based summer school.

I started the day by oversleeping through my first classes, losing one of my sketch books on campus, and falling asleep in the class I did make it to (Ribbon-typical narcolepsy L).

While I was asleep in class they were going over this bracket style music competition and assigning students to interview each of the contestants.

I up being assigned to help VBS since no body else wanted to on the fact that the group didn’t speak much English and I couldn’t speak a lick of Japanese so…

Luka to the rescue!! Street Sekai Luka basically acted as my translator so we could get the interview done, but I wasn’t satisfied…

The group really seemed to be at a disadvantage with the language barrier so I did a little something extra and made custom background MV’s for their performances that had the English lyrics to their songs

This made their first battle a clean sweep as people as both their performance and the MV blew the competition out of the water (they sang Devil’s Manor).

I learned after that that they were kinda stuck in the US because they didn’t have enough money to afford a return ticket and the prize money would enough for them to buy a flight home.

Of course I agreed and basically became their assistant and translator (with the help of Luka) for their stay.

While waiting for my brother to pick me up a few things happened; some guy tried to flirt with An and when Kohane clinged to her saying that she was hers, it was like the guy just found out lesbians existed.

And I met up with a group for friends from an art class and lo and behold a certain brunette illustrator was using my lost sketchbook as inspiration for some of her own sketches.

Ena and I got to talking and that’s how I found out Akito was also a younger sibling. I promptly started bolting towards ginger around because my irl friendship language is being annoying and I wanted the deets on their relationship from his perspective.

While running I yelled something like “my brother is also a soccer player! You don’t think I know how to out endure you!” And I chased him around til he gave up and let me pester him lol.

We basically talked about being younger siblings and I even told him that while i think my brother’s cool that doesn’t stop me from hitting him with a plastic spoon for fun (real btw I did do that)

So yeah that was basically the dream, minimal Kohane moments but she was there.

I keep thinking about the Virtual Singer from each Sekai and what do they mean

Like what do they represent, what and who makes them appear and what does it mean to the related character

For a long while I thought each VS was linked to a specific kid, based on the focus where they appeared and who it was related to, mostly because of Niigo because... Damn each of them got their assigned VS for a year and half pratically you all know what I mean

But it didn't quite fit all the units and it also fit Niigo less than before, so it couldn't be that

So I kept thinking and

I think each Virtual Singer represent a... "concept", some very specific feelings from each kids

The one I'm the most sure about are VBS and L/N but I just can't explain L/N because they're so obvious to me I don't have the words to express it, so I'll use VBS VS as an example

Starting with Miku

Well, it's pretty simple... Miku is the only one I don't have a clue about (But she's often related to Toya now that I think about it)

So !

Meiko is so obviously that mentor figure, like the role-model... And by that I obviously mean RADers. The way she gives huge Nagi-san and Ken-san vibe and the similarity you can notice between her and those two definitely comes from An and Akito's perception of them, I don't need to elaborate on why I think

Rin and Len are the definition of "partner". I mean, An literally said it in Len 1* side story, she don't see them as sibling or lovers, but as singing partner

And each time one of the kids has some trouble with their specific partner, it reflects on Rin and Len, without much surprise.

They probably both has a distinct meaning, I think about Len's fear of being left behind and being kinda jealous in bout for beside you that obviously fit An but also Akito (those two again, Akito and An are as easy to read as open books it seems. Funny cause they're not the one fond of reading- ahem.), But I can't fully grasp it tbh...

I think I should precise I'm only aware of the stories out on EN before I keep going

Because VBS Kaito and Luka have only one focus feat on EN rn (Vivid Old Tale is the current event) so I could be wrong or maybe I've missed something

But oh by God Miku they make me ill I have to elaborate on them

Kaito first, he appeared during SBD, an Akito focus

And the sweet tooth aside, no one would ever think he looks like Akito. You could even say he's the complete opposite, with his airhead behavior and his innate talent. I even saw some people comparing him to Toya

Meanwhile Luka appeared, or she most likely came back, during SDSC, Toya's focus

And... Well she's also an airhead, kinda. People doubt her link to Toya way less than Kaito's one with Akito, but when you look at it she's everything Toya would think he isn't. She's the carefree and emotionnal one who just go with the flow without thinking about the technical side of things much (something Kaito is way better at even he doesn't seem so). Like, she's just... Living at her fullest, you know

They are everything but alike the kid they came around for... So what does it mean ?

Well I would say Kaito and Luka are what Akito and Toya wish they were, kind of. Akito's frustation being depicted during SBD, how he was chasing after Toya all this time and still kind of do

Toya who was compared to Kaito by ppl (not in game as far as I know), and who's also some kind of talented airhead...

Toya's wish to experience new things in SDSC, that part when he mention how he "has done so little with my [his] life..." But how he would catch up now that he can

And the way how if you ask Toya, the one who made him discover than a such freedom was possible, and kind of open the door for him to this carefree world is Akito. And how he would not be here without him

Did I just typed a whole Virtual Singer analysis only to trick you and makes you read about gay parallels- Noooo, what do you mean... I wouldn't dare

More seriously yeah I have an Akitoya illiness so they're the more developped thoughts I have on the topic, but I wish and hope people would dig into this more because I can't grasp every concept by myself

-Akito's quite embarrassed over being a regressor in general, it took a lot for him to finally admit it to the rest of VBS, despite the fact that they're all little sometimes too. He thinks it's embarrassing and weak, and he often tries to shove away the need to feel small, the rest of his team are working on helping him feel less ashamed of this part of him, it helps with his mental health, it's nothing he needs to beat himself up over!

-The main things that make him slip are exhaustion and stress, if things get too much it's almost like his body shuts down and simply can't handle being big anymore

-He's only told VBS about this side of himself, though Ken has figured it out, Akito still hasn't realized he knows. Him and Ena are also both at a stalemate of "you've seen me while I'm small and you seemed okay with it but I'd rather die than tell you", neither knowing the other's a regressor too.

-Toya is his main caregiver, and he and Akito are still attached at the hip when he's like this, and when Toya's small too Aki works his hardest to be strong and tough for him, he's usually littler than him after all! The Street Sekai virtual singers, aside from Rin and Len, also tend to look after him, and very rarely will An and Kohane as well.

-Somewhat of a bratty little one, though nowhere to the extent of someone like Ena. He works his hardest to insist that he's a big kid, he doesn't need to be coddled, or any baby stuff like sippy cups or pacis! Deep inside he doesn't mind these things, and he's a bit clingy in reality as well (especially with Toya or Meiko, little guy can hardly bear to be without at least one of them), but it takes a lot for him to actually admit what he wants.

-Very active little one! Let him run around and play outside and he'll be very happy, especially if someone else plays with him! He also very much enjoys drawing and coloring as well, even if he doesn't do so as much while big.

-He still absolutely loves singing, doing so often, even without realizing it. While big he's a bit ashamed of how off his singing is while he's little, but he still has fun doing it! One day while the rest of VBS was little too, they ended up putting on an "event" for the virtual singers, very much worthy of a standing ovation!

-It's very rare to see him without Tsuki, a little plush fox that Toya got him. He'll never straight up say that the stuffy makes him feel safer and comfy, that'll make him seem like a baby! Tsuki just doesn't like being alone, yeah, that's it!

-When he's sleepy or extra small, he's oddly cuddly! He will cling to Toya and not let go, and Toya's slowly working to be able to pick him up!

Fast update again everyone ! Well yeah since the book have 15 chapter and my own deadline around month plus I still had Prosekai current event story which I still not read (lol)

So today HSR and Genshin just dropped a good bomb (lol) around Genshin China concert and Kafka cinematic video. Aside the fact ChiLi and Blade eating some good food again (lol), Kafka cinematic video tells us something interesting like Sam is a robot (so Svarog and Screwllum series lol), tbh I still hoping for Sampo having a connection with Stellaron Hunter or maybe he's Elio since he still include as mysterious characters and Elio still not having a VA combination name of Sam and Elio pretty near with Sampo hahahaha

And let's talk about HSR cinematic video, this far we already having 2 cinematic video around limited character (aeon story not include here) Jingyuan and Kafka and it shown every 3 banner. You know what I am saying here, if every 3 banners means the next one will be Jingliu so HCQ story !

Hi there! I was wondering if you could do a Poly!VBS with a M!reader ftm (or nb ftm) who has his own sekai? I imagine his Sekai being quite chaotic and inspired in bacterial contamination. The Sekai is chaotic due to the confusion that the reader feels regarding himself. Identity, sexuality, life choises and etc. I feel like his belongings would be scattered around the sekai while floating. The only place that's more collected is a greenhouse with multiple flowers. The vocaloids are, again, inspired in bacterial contamination (I know we only have Bacterial Contamination Miku's design, but I'd like to see your own ideas for what a concept of the other vocaloids in that scenario would look like!). Basically, what I'm saying is, VBS's reaction to seeing their s/o (ftm, can be nb or male) with a very messed up and chaotic Sekai!

◇ CHAOS SEKAI - Poly VBS x Reader

The four of them had been so content with their Sekai that they hadn't even thought of the possibility that someone else would have one, let alone you

So, when they find the Untitled track on your phone, it's just shock and curiosity that leads them to play it

They're even more shocked by the state of your Sekai. What the hell was going on in there?

The Miku of your Sekai was far different from the Miku in theirs. The same applied to the rest of the Virtual Singers, each of them in different states of disarray

In the middle of the chaos stood you. You had been shocked to see all four of them there, nobody you knew had ever been there before after all. You wanted to hide it, but could you really hide such chaos?

"What's going on here?-" Kohane’s voice seemed lost in...What noise? Nobody knew, but everything felt weird. Being there felt weird, flashes of emotions flying through the air

"Hey babe!" An yelled out to you, making her way towards you despite the way the air became almost suffocating. "Uh...Are you okay?" You did not answer her in the moment.

"...This place doesn't feel good." Toya had mumbled to himself, simply observing the floating objects around. He noted that they were your belongings, and he spotted something green in the distance. What could it be?...

"Yeah, you can say that again." Akito was close enough to hear Toya's mumbling, but he had froze as an awfully familiar feeling washed over him, except it was not his own. He narrowed his eyes, walking toward you to join An. "This place is a combination of feelings, your feelings, right? I know what this feeling is at least...What's wrong?"

Then, you cracked, and the environment seemed to react to your emotions as bits and pieces became even more messed up. Kohane and Toya were quick to abandon their observations to join you and the other two

Surprisingly, Akito is the one who leads the conversation. "Listen, this...Insecurity, this confusion in who you are is something that I know all too well. I promise you, it's easier to talk it out."

The other three would nod in agreement, "Yeah, we're here for you!" "We always will be!..." Toya takes your hand, squeezing it gently. It's his silent reassurance for you.

And so, you do. You talk about all of your confusion, all of the things that have plagued your mind for so long. The world seems to shift and change around you, but you don't notice as you spill your guts out

The four are all silent, but you can tell that they're listening with as much attention as they can. When you're finally done, there are no words spoken, only the warmest group hug they can give you.

They each assure you that they're not going anywhere, and that they're willing to help you with everything. What is VBS without their beloved, after all?

And despite everything, despite all of the chaos in your head, you're allowed to take solace in the four people around you

And for once, your Sekai had gone quiet.

What's ur fav piece of trivia for every* character?

(*or at least as much as you can recall off the top of ur head)

my favorite trivia for characters is usually just whatever i think is funniest so just keep that in mind. that's not always the case but you might see it become a pattern. oh the other thing is whatever is most soul-crushing so yeah.

Ichika - either the fact her name comes from how her parents met (because i think it's really sweet) or that she accidentally discovered miku when she was watching videos on her dad's tablet and opened a recording of a miku concert

Saki - she used to listen to the song Time Machine when she was in hospital (at Ichika's recommendation) to remind her of family and friends. It's the in-universe reason why she is featured on the cover. This is actually one of my favorite facts in the game overall.

Honami - she is surprisingly good at flirting

Shiho - not one I've posted before, but in Run! Sports Festival! she couldn't bring herself to throw any of the balls in the ball toss because they had cute animal designs on them

Minori - she once passed out because Haruka wished her happy birthday.

Haruka - she likes penguins because she thinks the way they waddle is cute and she likes how round a lot of penguin merch is

Airi - she followed all of Shizuku's campaigns and bought all the magazines she was featured in when she was still a member of Cheerful*Days. She insists it was just research.

Shizuku - either that she usually has a thermos of miso soup on her to eat after practice or archery club or that she isn't good at texting. i haven't posted either of these before

Kohane - again one I haven't posted yet, but her favorite photo she's taken of Count Pearl is one of Pearl eating mice. the rest of VBS are surprised that she isn't squeamish about that sort of thing (i dunno what they're talking about that sounds like a very cool photo).

An - the possible symbolism of the black stripe on her new school cardigan. hello to the person who submitted that i am still not over it.

Akito - in Cinema he's the only person to sing solo during the first two choruses, the others don't get solo parts in the chorus until the end of the song. i think about this one a lot actually

Toya - he can't swim

Tsukasa - he's the comedic relief and there's a lot of really random shit i know about him because of that, so my favorite fact about him is whatever will have the most impact in the moment if i were to mention it out of nowhere. for a less vague answer, this one although i consider it to be one of my worst posts

Emu - she's very good at replicating cartoon faces. i like this one because it raises a few questions about whether the L2Ds are still exaggerated or if she just looks like that and no one questions that she actually has a cartoon face. what if project sekai ends with them all becoming self-aware.

Nene - either the fact that she thinks the forest has good graphics or that she called rui's mom "auntie" when she was younger because i think it's cute.

Rui - i like a good reference and i appreciate that he sometimes references famous people and media.

Kanade - she's left handed. i also like that her family name was made up specifically to contrast with the rest of N25.

Mafuyu - either that it's shown one time that she can see ghosts and then it's never brought up or referenced again, or that the "mom's cooking" listed as her favorite food might refer to the bunny-shaped apple slices her mother would make for her when she was a kid. i also like the detail that her eyes being two-tone is because she inherited the eye colors of both her parents.

Ena - twitter user. also despite loving cheesecake, she doesn't like cheese. girl what the hell.

Mizuki - they started out editing by making AMVs for a magical girl anime they liked. Amia comes from the name of a character from that anime. also did you know they put ice cubes in noodles because of their sensitive tongue. ice cubes.

Bonus - some side character stuff I like

Kotaro's favorite food is strawberries but he doesn't like strawberry flavored things for whatever reason

Asahi and Sakurako's family names are Chinese mythology references

Tatsuya's hobbies are motorbiking and fishing. these are not things you expect to go together

Nagi hated tomatoes but she would eat them in front of An

Iori hates spicy food, whilst Mio's favorite food is super spicy ramen. Meanwhile Mio doesn't like cream, but Iori likes crepes (which usually have cream on them).

Souma started listening to foreign music after Arata left for America

our kids are growing up and entering a new year in high school, which means that they now have completely new designs because thats how idol gacha rhythm games work!!! woo!! and i have Thoughts

im gonna talk about my opinions on all the redesigns from least to most favorite. note that these are not my rankings of the groups themselves lol, thatd be

#5 - MORE MORE JUMP!

ohhh my sweet girls, my precious girls, what did they Do to you.

the blue looks So bad on them. it clashes with minori and airi and feels too samey with shizu and haru. i like their shoes, tho, and i like how airi keeps her trend of her outfit straying just a little bit from the norm.

these outfits just feel so boring and lifeless, compared to their og ones that had a lot more personality and a lot more charm. i dont think the dresses themselves are ugly, in fact i find them quite pretty, but i dont think they suit the girls very well.

also what the fuck is miku wearing lmao (i like her hairstyle tho)

i like all the girls hair accessories tho they’re cute

i hate ranking them last because i love mmj so much but yeah im very disappointed and i honestly prefer their canon outfits that they wear while performing not in the sekai (the ones that their fans helped design in the metamo re:born event that i forgot the name of)

firstly i wanna say im so happy that honami gets to be pictured with her instrument like the others, and i really like how they positioned saki’s keyboard

i dont hate these designs!! i quite like them actually. they seem more unified and professional, which fits because leo/need is SIGNED with an AGENCY now oh yeah im so proud of them

im sad that ichikas wearing her tie now rip ichikas tie around her wrist you will be missed by me and me only

i really like their new outfits!! the girls look and feel older. im not really vibing with the shade of gray used tho, i wish their uniforms were black or white or a different shade of gray. i also love the pins and buttons on mikus jacket (i actually prefer the shade of gray on the jacket why couldnt the leoneeders be dressed in that shade)

i really love wondershos new look, i just like the other two groups better. nene’s in particular is my favorite (but im biased). i love how professional they look, these new outfits really display this new step that the kids are taking into the world of theatre

i adore all of these designs they’re so cute and fun and i really love the new vibe for wondersho as of recently. it seems like colorpale and the fandom are taking them so much more seriously

guys. guys the - the symbolism. their dresses progress from pure black to gray showing how they’re slowly healing and bettering themselves and miku’s hair is begining to regain its green and the kids have different flowers that have symbolism that other people know way bettee then mine but MAFUYU’S IVY MOTIF AND ENAS NARCISSUS MOTIF ARE BACK BABY real missed chance to give kanade carnations tho. i dont have much to say but WOW i love the new look for the nightcords and i think they’re stunning. will accept zero hate for these guys they look great

yeah, i was surprised too at how much i like the vbs designs

i like vbs, sure, but they’ve always been the group that has piqued my interest the least. and ive never been super keen on the designs of the characters

but these designs??? i really like them. a lot. it feels like the kids are really coming into their own, with kohane and toya finding their personal styles, akito refining his, and an paying homage to nagi in hers. they’re becoming the young adult creators and musicians that they’re striving to be. i can really see vbs’s growth in their new designs, and i hope that i can grow to really love them and their story : D

(also mikus design is kind of. all over the place. lmao but i kinda love it)
