#onceuponatimeMW *Visit of Viceroy Lord Curzon to Jodhpur* The Viceroy and Lady Curzon visited the Mehrangarh Fort on 23rd November, 1902 during the rule of Maharaja Sardar Singhji of Marwar ( 1895 - 1911). Maharaja Sardar Singhji organised a grand welcome with a Guard of Honour at Mehrangarh. Maharaja Sardar Singhji personally received them at the Fort and Fort Incharge Man Singhji gave them a guided tour of the period rooms, and the historic spaces. Lady Curzon met Maharani Hadi Ji and other royal ladies in the Zenana wing and enjoyed the hospitality of Marwar. The Mehrangarh Museum has an extensive and important collection of photographs and photo albums, available to scholars for reference and research.
