Time for a hair change!
Hi guys,
This time next month I turn 30 years old which is insane and to celebrate this milestone I wanted to change up my look. For the past 3-4 years I have had bright red hair and pretty much every shade between red and burgundy I could get my hands on. But when you have coloured your hair funky colours for a long time, normal colours start to seem more exciting.
I decided this would be the perfect time to try and give my hair some loving and stop dying it so much so that meant it was time to say goodbye to red hair! Though I love having red hair the upkeep isn't ideal because you need to refresh the colour every 6-8 weeks which you can imagine courses damage after a while. I decided it was time to go back to my roots (literally) and go brunette again!
But before I coloured my hair I decided it needed a cut, when you colour your hair you get very dead ends after a while. I decided to chop around 15 cm off my hair which is a total change for me but one I'm so happy I did. Once my hair was cut it was time to use the L’Oréal Paris Casting Natural Gloss Semi-Permanent Hair Dye, Ammonia Free, 5.23 Hazelnut Light Brown, £10.99. This time I decided to use semi-permanent hair dye because the colour coverage is just as good but doesn't damage my hair as much. I'm so happy with how the colour turned out.
I'm so glad I decided to give my hair a change, it feels fresh and a little more grown up from the vibrant red hair colour. Take this post as your sign to make that change to your hair and as always all products mentioned in my blog post are linked above.
Lots of love
Bella xx

HOW TO USE LOREAL CASTING CREME GLOSS?
Tumblr media
I have been using the Loreal Paris Casting Crème Gloss Regular Ebony Black for quiet some time now and I wish to review about the same and show you guys how to use it in the most effective manner.
I have using hair color for decades now, and I have tried several brands available in the market and here is my honest viewpoint about this product.
I started using it after a recommendation from a good friend of mine and I thank her for it to this day. It is a no ammonia hair colorant that gives your hair visible shimmering tones, glossy shine and covers greys. It gives you a natural looking color with visible shimmering tones and a glossy shine. Gives you the richness of natural color that lasts up to 28 shampoos. Gentle, caring conditioner to provide nourished, satin soft, voluptuous hair. Easy, clean and pleasurable application with the non-drip crème formula in just 20 minutes, even for beginners. The delicate fragrance makes coloring a luxurious treat.
I personally love a no ammonia hair color and it leaves my hair smelling so good. People always compliment me and ask about what product do I use for my hair. The key element here is that it lasts up to 28 washes which is great because all my previous hair colors used to start washing off or fading after a couple washes!

How to use loreal casting creme gloss?
THINGS YOU’LL NEED:
*L’Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Hair Color – (Pick your favorite shade!)
*An old T-shirt or a shawl
*A water spray bottle (Optional)
*Hair coloring brushes and combs (Optional)
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The Casting Creme Gloss hair color contains the following inside the kit.
Developer Cream Creme Colorant Usage instructions pamphlet A pair of gloves
As they provide a pair of gloves inside the pack itself you will not need a new one. However, make sure you are ready with any dark colored/old t shirt before you start the whole process. (To avoid staining)
If you are going for an even colour all over, its easy to get great results at home too. You don’t need help from anyone!
HOW TO COLOR YOUR HAIR AT HOME? : STEPS STEP 1: Detangle, wet your hair and towel dry it gently. It helps with easy application of the hair color. But do not go overboard and make your hair dripping wet. In between damp and wet would be okay. After this process, put on your gloves quickly – to avoid getting your hands stained. STEP 2: Pierce the creme colourant (No ammonia formula) and pour it into the developer cream bottle and close the lid carefully. Shake the bottle well to let the colorant and developer mix together. I picked the shade No.200 – Ebony black. They have launched 12 shades in India! STEP 3: Part your hair into small sections and use hair clips to make them stay at a place. I’ve parted my hair into four sections. If you are coloring your hair to cover greys, then make even more smaller sections and pin them up gently to coat the color more evenly. STEP 4: Cut the tip of the developer bottle (I used a pair of small scissors) and apply the creme gloss little by little on the sections of your hair and spread it evenly till the ends. STEP 5: Spread the creme gloss evenly on all the sections of your hair. If you’d already colored your hair and doing touch ups, make sure to cover the area near roots. In case of contact with the skin, gently dab the creme with a soft wiping cotton. It is better if you apply some moisturizer/cold cream near your hair line and the back of your neck before your start. After application, secure your hair with a big hair clip and allow the Casting Creme Gloss to work on your hair for around 20 minutes (For more intense hair coverage, make it 25 minutes!) I have no grey hair issues, hence I left it for 20 minutes only. STEP 6: After 20 minutes, rinse your hair well with lukewarm water. Make sure to rinse it twice more than you do as usual to ensure the removal of residues. After rinsing, towel dry your hair (optional step; you may just sqeeze the extra water from your hair gently) and put on the conditioner you got along with the pack. (Avoid the roots!) Allow it to sit on your hair for 2-3 minutes and give a final rinse with cold water. Allow your hair to dry naturally and you are done!
P.S.: Do NOT break the tip of the developer bottle before pouring the colorant into it! https://www.lorealparis.co.in/casting-creme-gloss-regular-ebony-black

How do you use Loreal casting creme gloss?
Before You Begin:
Perform a patch test: Before using the product, it's essential to perform a patch test to check for any allergic reactions. Apply a small amount of the color mixture behind your ear or on the inner fold of your elbow and leave it for 48 hours. If any irritation occurs during this time, do not use the product.
Preparation:
Read the instructions: Carefully read the instructions and follow them step by step to achieve the best results.
Choose the right shade: Select the Casting Creme Gloss shade that you desire. Make sure it complements your natural hair color and meets your desired outcome.
Gather the materials: Inside the box, you should find the colorant, developer, conditioner, gloves, and an instruction leaflet. You may also need an old towel or cape to protect your clothing.
Application:
Do a strand test: It is recommended to perform a strand test to preview the color result. Take a small section of hair from a less noticeable area, apply the color mixture, and wait for the suggested time (usually 20-30 minutes) before rinsing it off. This will help you determine the final color and processing time.
Protect your clothing: Wear an old t-shirt or drape a towel over your shoulders to prevent the color from staining your clothes.
Put on the gloves: Wear the gloves provided in the package to protect your hands from staining.
Mix the color: Pour the entire content of the colorant tube into the developer bottle. Close the bottle tightly and shake it well to mix the colorant and developer thoroughly.
Start applying the color: Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair. Divide your hair into sections and use the applicator bottle to apply the color from the roots to the ends. Make sure to saturate your hair evenly with the color.
Massage the color in: After applying the color, massage it into your hair to ensure even coverage.
Wait for the processing time: Check the instruction leaflet to know the exact processing time for your chosen shade. Typically, it is around 20-30 minutes. Use a timer to keep track of the time.
Rinse and condition: Once the processing time is up, rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear. Then, apply the provided conditioner to your hair and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing it off.
Aftercare:
Avoid shampooing for 24-48 hours: To let the color set in, it's best to avoid shampooing your hair immediately after coloring it.
Use color-safe products: To maintain the vibrancy of the color, use hair products specifically designed for color-treated hair.
Remember to follow the instructions provided in the package carefully to achieve the best results. If you have any doubts or concerns, it's always a good idea to consult a professional hair colorist.

HOW TO COLOR YOUR HAIR WITH L’OREAL PARIS CASTING CREME GLOSS?
L’Oréal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Hair Color
An old T-shirt or a shawl
A water spray bottle
Hair colouring
brushes and combs
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. The Casting Creme Gloss hair colour contains the following inside the kit.
Developer Cream
Creme Colorant
Usage instructions pamphlet
A pair of gloves
2. As they provide a pair of gloves inside the pack itself you will not need a new one. However, make sure you are ready with any dark coloured/old t shirt before you start the whole process. (To avoid staining)
3.  If you are going for an even colour all over, its easy to get great results at home too. You don’t need help from anyone!
STEP 1:
Detangle, wet your hair and towel dry it gently. It helps with easy application of the hair color. But do not go overboard and make your hair dripping wet. In between damp and wet would be okay. After this process, put on your gloves quickly – to avoid getting your hands stained.
STEP 2:
Pour the creme colourant (No ammonia formula) into the developer cream bottle after puncturing it, then carefully screw on the cover. To mix the colourant and developer, thoroughly shake the bottle.
STEP 3:
Part your hair into small sections and use hair clips to make them stay at a place.
STEP 4:
Cut the tip of the developer bottle (I used a pair of small scissors) and apply the creme gloss little by little on the sections of your hair and spread it evenly till the ends.
STEP 5:
All the areas of your hair should have the creme gloss applied evenly. Make sure to cover the region near the roots if you've already coloured your hair and are conducting touch-ups. If the cream comes in contact with your skin, gently dab it with some soft cloth to remove it. It is best if you apply some moisturiser or cold cream to the area behind your neck and around your hairline before you begin. After application, fasten your hair with a large hair clip and give the Casting Creme Gloss about 20 minutes to work on your hair
STEP 6:
Rinse your hair well with lukewarm water after 20 minutes. To ensure that residues are removed, make sure to rinse it twice as often as you normally would. After rinsing, towel dry your hair (this step is optional; you can just gently squeeze the excess water out) and apply the conditioner that came in the package. After letting it sit on your hair for two to three minutes, give it one last cold water rinse. After letting your hair dry naturally, you're done! Read more..

Step 5:
Spread the creme gloss evenly on all the sections of your hair.
Step 6:
After 20 minutes, rinse your hair well with lukewarm water.
