watching the wrigley field fall out boy show this morning at breakfast (because I'm normal) and this is the first time I'm seeing it all the way through and I am still SO obsessed with the visual effects I'm such a slut for lighting and stage design

#if you haven't seen it there's this part during Chicago Is So Two Years Ago #where they turn off all the other stage lighting and the lights in the set so the band is just lit by a row of blue lights right above them #and it really makes the whole thing feel so much smaller. almost as if there was a low ceiling there instead of just a row of lights #like at least in that small part of the stage #they're trying to emulate the vibe of small club shows they would have played in the early days #idk if this is intentional or if I'm just reading into things but it's really neat
