💌Would your muse write a love letter

I’ll start with the one you are hoping to hear good things for, and will be rewarded with—Proteus. [ A definite Yes. ] Part of it is his era, culture, and breeding, part of it is just Proteus as a romantic gentleman. So he’s going to be proper but ardent in his intentions; and since it’s the mark of his times, yes, there will be poetry laced in there, and yes, strings of praise. He has to be careful as a royal, since mail is watched closely, so anything graphic or really personal will be secretly delivered. Either he’s slipping the letters sneakily into hand, or he’s placing them in secret designated places, and looking for his responses at promised locations too. This goes on throughout the entire courtship, not just in the beginning or wooing phase.

Pickles [ Yes…..kinda…..no. ] If you are a serious lover, it’s going to be a full on drunken inspired mess of self-deprecation, fragmented questions of: “why are you with me?” and then some lewd personal stuff about your shared sex lives together, and of course, closing off with an overly plastered declaration of love. He’s going to regret it SO MUCH in the morning, but chances are it’s written after 3 am, and accompanied forceful orders to a Klokateer to deliver it to you THAT morning.

Skwisgaar [ Nooooo. ] He barely texts, let alone writes a letter. Not because of language barriers, truth be told Skwisgaar writes better than he speaks. He’s only incoherent with written word when he’s drunk. Skwisgaar is perfectly free and open PHYSICALLY, but the man is as aromantic and shut off from trusting anyone can get, and he’s terrified to speak openly about his feelings. He doesn’t fall for anyone really, and when he starts to he barely recognizes it. If and when it’d happen, he’d rather TALK than write anyhow. Writing = evidence of weakness.Seth [ Yes…but gross. ] He’s a note passer for sure, a dirty texter, and that asshole that shouts across the bar to come over and sit on his lap, so any note he writes is laced with corny cliche crap he knows will get her attention, but it’s really not sincere. He doesn’t know HOW to be sincere. I’m pretty sure he just aggressively texted Amber and followed her like a dirty dog, passing notes to her boss from him at the club. And she had nothing better to do, and here we are. Married. What a fairytale XD

Negaduck [ NO…unless….] Graffiti on some adjacent wall declaring how you’re his, or a scrawled message across a mirror penning: “meet me at X” + some lewd after thought under it, does that count? He’s more of a guy of action. A verbal type of “wooer”. Probably also marks up a napkin with suggestive commands and stuffs it in your pocket/purse. If he texts at all, it’s going to be short and to the point. If he fakes romance, it’s going to be through words and obsessive attention face to face.

💕How affectionate is your muse

If by affectionate you mean obsessive and obscene, then yes, very. He’s not going to be “romantic,” at least not by HIS definition of the word. If he gets “attached” to you, and it’s one-on-one, with ZERO witnesses, he will be less of an asshole and more honest around JUST YOU. But count on that dial back to end the second he’s out the door and “at work.” Even if you cross paths in public, he’s back at 100% Certified Monster™ again. “Lovey-dovey” affection for him is a means to an end, and he will be physically attentive if it means luring prey. He’s not going to hold your hand and stroll in the park, he’s not going to cuddle on the couch. He’s going to have a possessive arm around your shoulder/neck line or waist ( roughly, if anyone jealous is hovering ), he’s going to sit close, but not nicely. It’s going to be more of a possessive closeness full of handsy touches and death glares to ward off other potentials looking at his prize. Otherwise, when there’s no “threat” in sight, he’ll ease back and move a few inches away and act casually disinterested again. It’s a yo-yo ride.
