So I’ve been messing around with colorations for my Taako and like my HC for the Adventure Zone prime elves is they're all super bright saturated colors right (purples, pinks, blues, bla bla bla) but like I made a really nice Taako with a regular human skin tone and like I’m in love??????   I know i should play more but i keep doodling him with this new color skeme and I'm like damn son but if I go with that it means i have to recolor all my elves for TAZ prime lol 

whatever ill just play with it and see where it goes.

it's been two whole years since i first watched 2.10 and i've only now noticed that when they cut his leg off silver is still handcuffed. as silver said they had the keys they all already took their handcuffs off. but not silver's.

we also have the more obvious expressions of the same notion - dooley and muldoon holding silver down as he resists, the crowded room and this specific shot that is visually suffocating

- but the handcuffs are conceptually the boldest way to express the idea that silver is trapped and that they're doing this to him against his will (the amputation of course but also being pulled into the walrus crew & the way it removes his freedom). it's the boldest simplest most direct symbol and yet it's done so subtly, the camera never lingers on it and it doesn't need to because the rest of the scene communicates it just the same, but still now that i've noticed it i can't not emphasize the fact that they keep him handcuffed for the amputation
