Okay so in terms of lore, Maisie’s brand is kind of that she’s just like a girl in her 20s with a very sarcastic sense of humor and bad experiences with men (she has a boyfriend now though so when I went to her concert last week she was like I’m guessing there’s some single people here couldn’t be me though sorry x and it was very funny). She’s also pretty casual and close with her fans, she interacts with a fan account called Mazziememes that makes a lot of memes about her music. Also she’s signed under Ed Sheeran’s record label so she jokes around with him a lot. A fun bit of lore that happened last year was that in 202(0?1? I’m not exactly sure) she teased a song called Girl’s House on tiktok that fans fell in love with but she never ended up releasing and it became a bit of a tease that she’d do, and she eventually said Ed Sheeran would release it if The Good Witch went number one, and he did. It was a mp4 in a Dropbox link which was very funny to me, it felt like I was about to get rickrolled lol

For song recs, she’s got a good variety of tones which I like. Some funnier/sarcastic songs would be I’m Trying (Not Friends), Boy, Coming of Age, Watch, Psycho, and The Song. Some songs that feel more like literary/beautiful lyrics to me would be Wendy, History of Man, You Signed Up For This (especially if you follow it with The Good Witch song), and Love Him I Don’t.

I also think both of her LPs and previous EPs are just worth a listen but that’s where I’d start for a specific vibe
