39. Does your oc have any nicknames? What are the origins of them? If they don’t, can you come up with some possible ones?

heh heh, mona has lots of nicknames !! most notably mons (aha moans to the server), Liska which means fox and is from a folktale from her youth and was her codename in the revolution, and Niko calls her little princess as a tease because she is short and named after princess mona from a classic X-3996 fairytale... so yeah...

43. How important are the rules to your oc? Do they follow them to a t, or do they enjoy breaking them?

mona doesn't like having to bend under someone else's rule and certainly never has, which is one of the reasons she is in the revolution. she sticks to them if it's to survive or she sees a benefit in them. If it's something like the law, she's willing to follow it if she believes it is fair.

68. What sorts of things would cheer your oc up when they’re down? Is your oc sad often, or is it rare?

mona is depressed so yeah she is sad often RIPPP but she can do things to cheer herself up! being outside in fresh air helps, playing in the snow, classic x-3996 pastries called poffka's... and honestly shed just like to be held for a bit :( but no one does:((((

27. What is your oc’s sleep schedule like? Are they a night owl, an early morning riser, or do they get any sleep at all?

ok, so mona due to intense trauma from her past is kind of scared of falling asleep if she does it's often interrupted by jolting awake, even if she can't remember dreaming. She sleeps better close to other people and in a bigger bed, especially if she can hear someone's breathing or heartbeat. She hates silence, so listening to sounds helps her sleep in faster too. she is by far not a morning person and often has her spouts of creativity or scientific breakthroughs at 3 am. it's not unusual to see her doing calculations in pyjamas :)

37. How does your oc handle heavy stress? Do they have any specific coping mechanisms? Are they healthy or not?

She's good at remaining focused in stressful situations, even if she's freaking out on the inside, but if the stress is more of a long-lasting thing she's the type to try to ignore it and start smoking a packet a day. She finds herself gravitating towards substances, but so far has been able to stay away from them except for the cigarettes. She's good at keeping her stress concealed, but she often starts to forget to eat or sleep.

82. What would be your oc’s ultimate dream vacation? Where would they go? Who would they take with them? What would they do?

in her current state, her ultimate vacation is to return to X-3996, but apart from that she hasn't been to a planet with a softer climate and would love to see coral reefs and rainforests. Shed probably take her found family with her, but honestly she could use a solitary vacation too HAHA

ok… mona doesn’t sleep for very long and she doesn’t sleep very deeply either, so this often happens. usually its nothing special but if its a genuinely weird noise… shes out to investigate! definitely keeps a crowbar or a pipe or something next to her bed just in case :) imagine her in pyjama’s smacking some burglar on the head ASDGJKGD… its usually miloš scrounging around for midnight snacks remembering mona keeps a tin of cookies in her desk teehee… sometimes he brings niko and this results in a high-risk heist 🫡 they never succeed tho… she wakes up every single time ASDGJLKHF

well.. 😏 NO im kidding ASDGJLJGF god… shes incredibly reserved so it takes a while to warm up to people… and even then shes very picky who she likes and trusts so she keeps a lot to herself :’)).. i think the people absolutely closest to her are the only ones who get to see her scars though (except the eye one she cant hide). that and also her true emotions, she masks her real self to protect it, especially on scylla 😓 but people like Niko and Miloš and her loved ones back on Sastrugi know who she really is :))

8. What kind of flavours does your oc like? How much spice can they handle?

ok so mona loves sweets teehee but it's kind of a secret because shes is hyper-aware of how bad it is for her teeth rip.... apart from that she really likes umami flavours and stews and pies.... shes a great cook so she'll try anything! with spice she can handle quite a lot but she doesn't like if it's the main flavour in a dish.

23. How graceful is your oc? Are they elegant in their movements, or more clumsy?

mona is very elegant hehe, she was a little clumsy as a kid but learned how to move with composure in the institute. She has incredibly steady hands as well, so they move very gracefully (considering she talks with her hands quite a bit its a captivating sight)

24. Is your oc a romantic, or are they grossed out by the simple mention of anything romantic?

despite her cold demeanour, mona is a big hopeless romantic HAHA, she's always been fascinated by those fairytale romances and I think she yearns for such a close and loving connection! although once her big romance finally happened (and it wasn't such a fairytale after all), she kind of loved the more domestic and personal romantic gestures more. she hates corny cliches with a passion tho and feels uncomfortable with romance if she doesn't honestly care for the person, so most of her flings (aka hookups) tend to be cold and impersonal. but yeah i do think shes a romantic girl teehee :)
