MK was very excited to watch the show, he was one of the only few people who knew the identity of The Showman. Wukong however knew nothing about Broadway, and thought of it to be boring, thoughtless, cringe-like. Wukong was never a fan of shows like this, especially ones surrounding love. Being a Pop-Star, he was always moving always singing. What could this silly show provide what he can’t?

The entire hall was crowded with long lines to even just go to the bathroom. Every red velvet seat was filled with people all the way from young to old. MK got a couple golden tickets to sit in the front. Given by the Showman himself. MK made sure he had snacks for Wukong and him as he sat down and pulled Wukong with him. Wukong plopped down on his seat as MK held up his hand.

MK: Your phone. I know you’re just gonna use it the whole time. Gimme.

Wukong let out a loud groan. As he pulled out his phone and gave MK his phone. MK’s hand remained where it was.

MK: All of them.

Wukong the let out another loud sigh as he gave MK a bunch of MP3 players, old phones, and music makers. MK smiled then turned off all of them and kept them in his bag on the opposite side, so not even Wukong’s tail could reach to sneak them out. MK then let out a small gasp as the lights went out.

A large gust of purple fog covered the stage like a clouded blanket. Then the Showman appeared. Wearing a fancy cape and a mask that covered his right eye. The light was too dim. The Identity of the man was still unknown, and even MK told Wukong not to use his golden gaze for this play. Begged him really.

Showman: Everyone. Take your seats, for tonight, I speak of a tale of a man who once lived beneath and between the walls of an old opera hall. A forbidden love that cannot become reality. Today, we will hosting a show that is not my own.. The Phantom of the Opera.

The audience clapped and cheered as the man disappeared. Wukong wondering if the man seemed familiar. His voice was very distinct. The stage came together as the play began. A couple song came by as Wukong grew a bit bored. Then suddenly, something felt off.. The main protagonist, Christine was missing. Then everything only slightly fell of script.

Then appeared the Phantom. The light still shifted away from his face, leaving his identity unknown. He then began talking to the audience.

Phantom: My beloved Christine is still gone. Where could she have gone? My love…

He then scanned the crowd, like he was looking for someone specifically, and instantly locked onto Wukong. The Phantom seemed to light up.

Phantom: Oh my beloved! There you are! I thought I lost you forever.

He then reached towards Wukong and pulled him on stage, in front of hundreds of people. Wukong’s face went pale as the light shines on his face as the classic Phantom of the Opera theme music blasted up. It was Macaque!

Macaque: We can’t have you looking like this in our Opera, Sunbite~

He snapped his fingers as the Broadway actors surrounded Wukong, singing “Masquerade”. After the crowd disbursed, Wukong was in a beautiful gown. Make up and jewelry all over him. Wukong was in shock. The audience began cheering and clapping at Wukong. Macaque held Wukong’s hand up and kissed it as he bowed. Macaque began dancing with him, waltzing. Wukong the entire time was so confused, almost catatonic. MK has stars in his eyes, gushing about how nice Wukong looked. Wukong began to worry about the people watching him. Despite being a Pop Star, he was always online and never on stage.

Macaque: It’s okay.. Just follow my lead, don’t look at them.. Only me.

Wukong hid his head on the other side of Macaque’s chest to hide a bit form the crowd, being a bit shorter than Macaque. Macaque let out a low laugh and danced with him. Singing along to the song that was playing. The entire play instead has Wukong in it, who knew none of the lines, and over time.. Wukong began enjoying himself.

The play ended in its tragic way. Wukong sat intently and watched, he began to appreciate Broadway in a weird way. Macaque went in the back where Wukong sat, the assistants getting the dress off. Macaque let out a small smile.

Macaque: Did you like the play?

Macaque teased Wukong a bit, chuckling to himself. Wukong slugged him on the shoulder hard, hurting Macaque a bit.

Wukong: Maybe let me know ahead of time, okay?!

Macaque laughed and swatted Wukong off.

Macaque: Okay, Okay! Next time…

The two sat together, reminiscing about the play, laughing with each other. Happy to be around each other again. Guess the play wasn’t so bad after all…

(This was a small little story that isn’t written the best. Though I hope you guys like it though. Also.. Here’s a challenge! I made the dress design unknown since I want you guys to come up with what it looks like! Thought it would be fun!💜)

Harlowe would be so ecstatic. He'd give MC a million kisses and probably tear up a little bit. It's something nobody has ever done for him, so I think he'd be super emotional about it. If it's art or writing of some kind, he'd put it somewhere in his bedroom so even when MC isn't there with him, he can wake up to see it and think of them every day. If it's a song or music of some kind, he'd beg them to record it so he can have it always playing on a loop.

Florence

Florence would cry happy tears immediately. She'd love it so much. If it's art, she's putting it in her living room. She'd probably press a kiss to it or just stop to look at it with a big grin on her face every time she walks by. If it's music, she'd beg MC to record it and post it to Soundcloud or YouTube or something so she can show it off to everyone. "My love made this for me, aren't they so talented?"

Eden

If it's art, it's going to become his new phone wallpaper. Even if it's not in picture format, he'd take a photo of it and use that. He'd gush over it and give MC a huge hug and a million kisses. If it's music, he's gonna want to have it as an mp3 file so he can listen to it whenever he wants. But he'd never share it with anyone - MC made this for him, he's not gonna want to share.

Aena

She'd be so enthusiastic and honored. I think she'd do something similar to Eden and make it her phone wallpaper. She'd probably print art on a jacket so she can carry MC's love with her anywhere she goes, or would make it an NFT or something and add it to her signature for her emails, provided that it's SFW. If MC makes her a song, it's getting set as her ringtone. She'd also clip a part of it that she really loves and use that as a notification tone.

Alistaire

If it's art, he's framing it and putting it on his desk in his office. At that point, he doesn't care if anybody sees it. MC made this for him. They took time out of their day to make him something so beautiful that he wants to see it every day at work. Teaching can be a frustrating job, so being able to look up and see the picture every day when he's laboring over grades or reading essays for hours on end. If it's some form of music, he's gonna be listening to it any time he needs some sort of positivity. Again, mainly when he's grading.

Honestly I'm in an odd position because I'm constantly self aware that I'm weird and I'm afraid that I might be too weird for the people I know, that I will eventually alienate my friends, but

the thing is

I've always been considered a weirdo.

For liking Sonic. For talking about astronomy and biology. For putting videogame music in my MP3 player. For not liking the hot things of the time (think High School Musical)

All things that nowadays I don't consider weird and other people don't consider weird either, especially on the internet

Hell I know that I'm far less "weird" than other people here (I don't even like incest ships lol, it almost feels like the bare minimum for being considered a freak), yet I can't shake the sensation because it has been deeply ingrained into me, from the moment I realized other people didn't care about me or my interests and lowkey found me annoying (which is also why I struggle to recognize when someone really thinks of me as a friend)

So my weirdo meter is straight up broken and is constantly looping on itself

No matter what I do or say, I constantly feel like a freak. So what does it matter if I'm a freak for gushing about a not-so-popular Sonic game, or because I enjoy writing problematic dubcon rarepair shit, or because I think people should chill about fictional characters' ages? It feels the same to me.

I don't know. I feel prisoner of my own cruel mind, yet free at the same time.

Fictional character ask: Bernard and Miss Bianca from The Rescuers and The Rescuers: Down Under?

Favorite thing about them:

Bernard: he's got this stalwart, good-natured quality where even when he's out of his depths, he still deeply cares about what is right and helping others

Bianca: her leadership skills, her determination, he ability to connect with a variety of figures. I also love that she shuts down Bernard's initial protestations that he's just a janitor and sees the potential in him from his sense of protectiveness.

They really do bring out the best in each other. :)

Least favorite thing about them:

Bernard: sometimes in the first film he can be... irritably old-fashioned... but it's in a "he means well" way, so it ends up coming across as gentlemanly. It's a product of when the first film was made, and Bianca still manages to shine as one of the great (if unsung) female Disney protagonists nonetheless, so.

Bianca: ooh, this one's hard. I really like her.
