Dude there was so much stuff I loved.

Mk being a caring Succesor.

Nezha and Wukobg being brothers.

Macaque getting called out for ALL of his mistakes. Like there is quotes and shit. My man took TIME to get that all piled up.

Wukong getting comforted like he DESERVES.

Pigsy just beat the SHIT outta Macaque.

Pigsy, Tang, and Mei don't exept Macaque's apology and that makes SO much sense.

Wukong gets really upset when he found out Macaque hurt Mk more than once and I love that.

Bai He my girls there.

Macaque and Wukong don't automatically go back to be lovely dovey, instead their awkward which makes more sense.

I'm someone who doenst genuinely read serious fics. I usually crack ones that make me laugh. I seriously once sat through a Pregnant Wukong fic cause it was that silly. Put I did genuinely love this fic.

I'm gonna pretend me making that comic about Macaque and Wukong was just fate and its actually fanart for this fic. Please read it cause I love it so so much.

This is the only time I've ever felt bad for Macaque.

TWO ARTS IN ONE DAY???? That’s rare.

Anyway, got really inspired to draw Red Son from @pittdpeaches’s fic “A Garden Across Our Collarbone” because it has taken over my life.

A little headcannon of mine is that Red Son will fidget by tapping his fingers together and making little flames as he does so.

Also god, I had no idea what to do with the peony’s, so I just blocked in some red with the Clip Studio watercolour brush and I think it turned out ok???

Another fanart for @crowboss-whore 's “Seer of Secrets”. More of design sketches than anything.

I gave Seer a gun!

With how often Seer mentions wanting to be long ranged, I have been itching to give them a sniper. I tried to make it similar to the wrist gun they already have, you can even see my references littered about.

Edit: Ok clearly I had this in my drafts a while before the latest chapter came out and I DIDN'T EXPECT IT TO HIT SO CLOSE TO HOME FJDJJFJFB FUCK DUDE. OW!

(This is now so out of place with the tone of the chapter lmao)

I’ve had this idea for a bit now and while waiting for Chapter 12 to come out, I decided to design a rifle. It’s all non-canon of course since they don’t even have one (yet). This also gives me a base design for Seer. The outfit here is 100% negotiable in the future, but I like a cape/skirt idea a lot. Aaaaand I’m just now realizing I completely forgot about the hover boots lmao. I’ll come back to that when I feel up to drawing again

I debated on drawing yue with long hair or short hair for a bit, but I thought long would be good so Auntie Fan can style her hair

@fantasy-angelo This is AMAZING! How in the world did you work so fast? Didn't you just comment about it this afternoon? It's like you plucked Yue out of my head and put her on paper. I adore how you draw her eyes. They're so big and filled with worry/uncertainty/anxiety. I love them so much! And you made her fur so fluffy and braidable! PIF would definitely have a field day doing her hair.

Of course, how can I forget her six ears and her hanfu? You definitely made them as big as I imagined. Don't worry, Yue, you'll grow into them! And her cute hanfu! For sure they're made to be super soft and easy to move around in - commissioned by the Monkey King himself!

Thank you so much for drawing Yue! You have no idea how happy this makes me!

working on a multi-chapter fic titled “the red thread we cannot snap (for neither of us have the heart)” which is. SHADOPWESCGGG, there’s so many ways to utilize their dynamic in fun ways and i’m finally throwing myself into the ring of a PROPER reconciliation fic ,,, Last one absolutely sucked, but in my defense it was the first fic i wrote in a WHILE

but to get it out of the way, i want to continue to share my progress ^_^ so without further ado, here’s the fic summary :

the fic’s first chapter is currently at 403 words, which is unfortunately a small sliver of what i want to have (i intend to keep the chapters at 2k-5k words roughly, and this one in specific i want to put a lot of love into.)

considering this is the first time i’m posting about the fic specifically, i figured i might aswell share a small tid bit of what i already have written down (Do forgive me for the screenshots being on phone, it is late at night!)

Still an INSANE work in progress, a lot is changing imbetween but yk ,,, 🧏‍♂️

the mayor ptsd is real

okay so for one, I just wanted to rant about a fic made by @spry-sidewinder called Blood and Clay, tw for depictions of graphic tortue, mainly force-feeding

i just really appreciate this fic for being one of my favorite depictions of mayor and wHY HE ACTS SO PHYSCO??

this fic for me is a sincere look into mayor's internal struggles of being dehumanized by LBD

ALSO SYNTAX IS HERE, now while i still dont understand toxicinsanity, i love their dynamics in this fic

This fic also displays how mayor hallucinates and almost blanks out on a regular basis

I've heard of some sort of mental manuever the brain does when one has experienced trauma and is rememebrring it, which is by almost pushing the consciousness of the human away and taking the wheels of the human, injecting usually fake emotions of happiness as to curshion away the trauma

and i think this fits very well in character with mayor's goofy "wide-grinned" demeanor.

ANOTHER THING that i picked up from this fic is maybe an explanation to how mayor could so easily kill Syntax later in s3 if u assume that mayor and syntax were actually IN A RELATIONSHP

Mayor, being ordered by LBD to kill syntax, and knowing that mayor has had a frigged up past of LBD hurting and dehumanizing mayor for simply criticizng her unreasonable ways (in the blood and clay fanfic), probably did that mental maneuver thing where his reasonable consciousness was pushed back to let his brain do what was reasonable as to keep him away from being hurt

which was to kill syntax

the only person who, in the fic, understood mayor and his internal struggles

holy frig did i rant a lot, IM SORRY BUT I JUST REALLY WAS EMOTIONALLY PUSHED BY THIS FIC, very well written, i was disturbed and had a great time sleeping last night as i connected all the dots toxicinsanity ship is not smthn i understood but I ADORE how this fic ties everything togetehr in such a sincere manner
